I wrote up and scheduled my Thankful Thursday entry last night and thought I would get an early start on today’s entry.   This is Halloween night day.   I am wondering if this will be the last one in this house.   Is this just one of many of last holidays here?   Will I still be here next fall?   A part of me says yes and the other part says no. I was expecting that many of my colleagues at work would be dressing up for the holiday.   I have only seen a few so far. I have the witch hat that Dave gave me for the run on Saturday.   That will be the only celebrating of the holiday I am doing.   We had doughnuts and cider yesterday. I already regret taking it. As I mentioned earlier I had a great time at the Meetup last night at Panera.   I really missed everyone and got a chance to meet two new members.   One is Alexandria and the other is V. I can’t believe its Wednesday again.   It feels like I have been busy but just normal everyday living kind of way.   Last week I had my doctors’ appointments and this week its low key.   I am supposed to meet with Debra this week.   We couldn’t last week and we never did get the phone session last weekend either.   I did make an appointment for the CT-Scan that I spoke of last week.   It will be on the 13 th at 7 in the morning on the main campus. I have been to the gym almost daily since Friday.   Sunday, I didn’t go anywhere because of a headache and the weather.   I went for nearly an hour and half Tuesday.   It’s been a first for Trainer Pat’s evening class.   It’s probably no different than his Edge Group challenge classes either.   Happy news Fitness Manager Greg returned.   Not sure how Alex feels about it. We are getting more rain 10292019 Time to Build an Ark According to the weather reports of the last few days we are supposed to get rain for the next three days.   I like rain.   I like when I don’t have to drive in it, walk in it.   Especially if it is driving rain and soaks you to the bone and makes everything cold.   I like being inside cuddled up with my kitties and watch TV. Now that I know the window is leaking (I need to keep an eye on it).   I still haven’t called Lawyer Bob yet, but I am going to today.   I don’t know what to expect him to say.   OF course, it may not rain hard enough to do anything. I just told Mama R about it in an email and I wouldn’t be surprised if she suggests our friend Eddy.   He makes repairs and stuff like that. Its Monday again!   The day like all the previous weeks is going by fast.   I woke up after 5:30 but because I didn’t go to sleep until way after 1 I knew this would be the outcome.   The kitties slept with me almost the whole night.   Sky didn’t come up right away (he usually takes about an hour before he does).   Sky came and got me at 5:30 and that’s when I popped up and got ready for the day.   The normal morning routine.   I started getting ready for work around 6:20 and while I did that kept checking the counter and the floor.   Neither were damp or had puddles on them.   That confirms that the window at the sink east side of the house is going to be a problem.   I meant to tell Liz when I was texting her, but I want or should tell Lawyer Bob first. I have tried to write entries several times this week but every time I got side tracked.   I got diverted by important stuff like medical Appointments, work, and sleep.        I would like to tell you I was doing what I was tasked to do for ever.   I haven’t done any clearing out of anything.   I have been too tired at night and by the time I got home this weekend I was exhausted.      I have only been to the gym twice this past week and was supposed to go today.   I had every intention of going today until I saw the class was at 9:30 and I thought it was too early.    I have no idea why there wasn’t an 11:30 class but I definitely am going tomorrow.        I didn’t get to go to the coffee talk session as it was cancelled although it looks like people went?   My first thought was if they are starting to play games I will reconsider going to that.      ...

The rain we had overnight ended just before daybreak.   The sun has been shining ever since.   It's about 50 degrees both here and back home.   I Didn’t bother to turn on the heat today.   Not sure if Mama is right about wasting oil by turning it up and down all the time.   I did a quick check and it seems to confirm her view. I heard from Mama overnight.   She answered a text of mine about food and she later asked if I needed the pen pal letters from 2006.   I have tried to explain to her that people who pen pal keep old letters for whatever reason (not sure if they eventually throw them out) but she either isn’t understanding it or not interested.   I sort of told her among some of our conversations about people not listening to me about things and this is just one of many things.   People are going to do what they want no matter what.   This reasoning annoys the crap out of me because my logic is “if they tell me what to do...

Earlier this week on one of the Message boards for NCIS/Mark Harmon I read that yahoo would be making changes to the Yahoo Groups.   They announced earlier this month they will be closing .   Now I have a group there as journal/diary whatever.   I started back in June of 2003.   I was consistently posting to the group for the next 10 years and then less and less in the last few years.   Lately when I share to the group it’s via google documents and or word processing and usually when I share with Debra. What does this exactly mean?   I am not sure if I will be able to download pictures from there or discussions.   I don’t really look forward to moving the stuff around.   I don’t have the energy and or know how to do it. I will need to be careful today.   I have been up early and had a few cups of coffee and already put my foot into situations.   Even though team Lead Pat reassured me it wasn’t just me but several factors going on.   Short story-during a meeting I interrupted Super Bob while he was explaining something.   I wasn’t the only one but that’s not the point. The staff meeting today was basically about the move.   There was another incident in which an employee called police on another employee.   It wasn’t our team and he commended us for that but reminded us that space in the new building will be tight and to keep it professional and respectful. I found out later in the day what happened.   It involved two people that I have a lot of respect for.   The team lead put work on the other person’s desk and said person returned it with the word bitch written on it.   Team lead reacted strongly and instead of going to the supervisor or HR they...

As you know we had a Nor’easter last night and so we decided to stay home from the meetup.   We are glad we did.   It rained hard pretty much all night and was incredibly windy.   Overnight many lost power or had damage done by falling trees.   Luckily, we didn’t.    Can’t say the same for some of my coworkers. We had dinner at Pops Restaurant.   There was fundraiser going on while we were there sponsored by one of the high schools in town.    It was pasta night and we had it.   I had spaghetti with garlic wine, roasted peppers and sun-dried tomatoes and shrimp. When we got home Mama did laundry, and we watched Kevin Bacon’s Footloose.   We also watched a few game shows and then I went to bed my normal time. It was a quiet day around the office.  The scanning was all caught up until after lunch, and I worked on re-address mail while DG works on the Healthlogic mail  and some readdress mail as well.. That will for all intensive purposes be the only mail for today. DG worked on the weekend mail earlier and so she will be struggling for something to do as well.  AT least I thought she would be but like me she found stuff to do. We will definitely get socked tomorrow. Yesterday afternoon got real crazy.  I met up with Mama over our friend Aggie’s house and we just talked about things.   We had a late lunch at SBC and it was nice. THe weather was certainly beautiful. After that we came back to Aggie's house and  A short time later we all had to leave. The father and son got into a huge row. This weekend is Columbus Day weekend.   Its where all the final Leave peeping activities finish up around here.   Actually it may be peaked by now and it lasts for another moth.   In years past my friend Dave would want to go up north into Vermont and do most of it there.   The few times I went with him we would want to take the Gondola up one of the sky resorts mountains but we always missed it.   I have to admit it’s been a while since we did that and I suspect they don’t do it as much.   I mean Dave and his partner. There are still plenty of fall activities to do.   Pumpkin picking, Apple picking, things related to Halloween, concerts, museums etc.   There is the Theater, and of course sports, local colleges, High Schools etc. Friday was the short day for me.   The Medical Supplies guy came and picked up the unused and equipment.   I thought I would have a problem with him because he didn’t get here until 3:15.   Yeah...

I managed to get up at 5:30 and do the morning routine and then get ready for work.   For a brief moment I was going to make it to the shuttle then decided to get in early as I am leaving early today. Hopefully this afternoon the medical Equipment supply guy will be at my house at 3 and take everything back.   I have been in contact with Lincare who called me earlier this week to close the account.   The funny thing is during the week another facemask arrived at the door.   So hopefully no more will come and I won’t be getting anymore bills. Unfortunately, I have a feeling I will be getting them.   I tried to read up on Lincare and customer reviews were not good.   Just like J&L Medical customer reviews.   People were still getting billed when they didn’t get the equipment or, returned etc.   The young woman who was helping me was quite nice even after the third call yesterday. That song that has the lyrics Rainy days and Mondays always get me down?   Well that’s not me entirely.   I just didn't want to get out of bed at all today.   I hit the snooze button on the phone and then after feeding the cats I went and laid down on the couch.   I had to rush around a little but manage to leave the house after 7.   I drove in. I did have a frustrating moment when I was checking the batches from late last week that I thought were scanned.   It turns out only three of them were not done.   Then the computer crashed and had to be rebooted. I made the calls to the medical supply company and they finished the incomplete request to pick up the supplies and will be coming 3 pm on Friday.    Apparently the woman I was dealing with left early and didn’t finish the work   I also called the furnace/fuel guy’s office B says she was going to find out why he didn’t show up.   She called back around 11...

I have a feeling I shouldn’t have had the following food for late lunch/dinner aka supper last night:   the steak, and 12 mini peppers.   I had some issues this morning. Now I don’t want to do much of anything until Bingo.   I know I have to.   I need to clean out the car, do some shredding, and cleaning out of the room, and probably clean up someone’s hairball. It’s going to be a cloudy and cool day.   It is currently 62 degrees and expected to stay in the mid to high 60’s all day. No rain expected until Tuesday. I was just reading last year’s entry for this date and it was the beginning of the Columbus Day weekend.   It was also the same weekend of the Bake sale for the Ladies Guild and volunteering for the Campaign. It was amusing to see almost the same activities.   The only thing is the bake sale was a couple of weeks ago (I think) and Columbus Day is next week. Unfortunately Columbus Day is not a holiday for us at the universit...

It is early in the morning and its 40 degrees out according to the weather app.   As a result I turned the heat on/up.   Now the damn display panel is working.   Are you kidding me?   All these weeks it was off and one I turn it on and up it works fine?   I can’t believe this.   When I left this morning I turned it down and that’s good because by the time I got home the temperature outside were in the 50’s.   The heat was still on at 62 which are okay. I was dying during the classes.   That’s what happens when you miss two days’ worth of classes.   I have to go back by 12 and have my session with Alex.   I have already told him I may be late for class Monday.   I will remind him again when I see him.   I really need to work hard at the session.   I will tell him I will be getting steps in this afternoon. I have been home since 12:30 and have been waiting ever since for furnace guy and Medical Supply Co to get here and do their freaking job. If they were going to be late they should have called me.   I wasted several hours of personal time for this.   I finally called the oil company and J&L and neither was available.   I am also annoyed because I rescheduled my appointment with Debra to become a phone session during the weekend.   I did manage to gather the supplies and hope he will take them without problems.   I think I have everything from everywhere I could think of.   AT least the closet in the guest room is a lot emptier.    My night stand by my bed has more space to clear off. I was just thinking I have the last two days’ worth of entries to finish writing and post   I wrote a couple early to prepare but I put it off because I was at work and didn’t want to when I got home last night.   It will be like that for this entry I am sure.   I have some letters to write both in my pen pal world and family.   It’s been a while since heard from nephew James and I haven’t said much to his sister Emily about the move.   One moment I have a hard time figuring out what to say.   When I realized I could cut and paste what I wrote to her brothers it came pretty quickly.   Its done. I still haven’t been doing any decluttering at night but now that I have part of Friday off I will.   I am hoping to get some done during the weekend in between the activities.   I can’t give into the fatigue from the exercising and early mornings.
