I was up early but not as early as normal.  Preston was buried under a blanket and Vlad on the corner of the bed.  I got up and fed them and gave Preston his med.  I fed the fish and the others get fed  later.   I gave Preston his walk and he was cooperative and great about it.  The dawn was breaking into red and orange and it was lovely.  While on our walk I noticed that there was a new house being built where another long standing one was before.  I think it may have been anew condo site. When we got back I gathered everything I was taking back to the house with me.  The gifts that needed to be put into their bags, and envelopes.  I brought the outfit with me and my phone which is completely dead and I can’t find the adapter.  I really need to get a new phone! The babies were waiting on me at the door.  I didn’t go over last night for a tuck in.  I figured they would be hungry enough.  They were not warmin...

I was so not prepared for the cold and snow we got yesterday.   It came down pretty heavy for the hour and melted by afternoon turning into rain.   I was very glad I had my sweatshirt jackets with me to put on under the other sweater jacket.   Today is much different.    It is sunny and bit chilly. Janet did an awesome job while I was away.   There were some things that she forgot but that was to be expected.   Everyone welcomed me back and asked me how my vacation was.   I told them about locking myself out of the car on the way down.   I am not so sure what they thought of that.   They empathized for sure but you can never tell. The lockbox was heavier then normal for the first time in a long time.   Jill was explaining to me this morning that while I was away the volume for Friday’s mail was lighter then normal.    I wasn’t able to finish the lockbox so I am doing it now before todays and the meeting at 11. The day started out okay. I got up and got ready for work and emptied the dehumidifier (I think) and then ironed my clothes and left for Roberta’s. I fed the cat and then took off for the post office. I found the CC in my mailbox. Afterwards I went to work. After yesterday’s excitement I parked near the stairwell and walked down to the street and headed to the office. I walked up the stairs to my floor and I thought I would die. I started getting stuff done. I told several people of the previous day’s discussion with Mom. Some couldn’t understand why she said the things she did. Through out the morning people wished me a happy birthday. Around 10 the gang gave me a card and cake. I shared it with many people. I save some cake for Patti, Jocelyn and Marlene. I was really anxious to get out of the office to Debra’s office. I made it there in pretty good time. When she opened the door I lit into her.
