  Early Tuesday morning Gillion asked us where we wanted to meet this week and probably and now definitely meet today since Wednesday was looking like it wasn’t happening.  I could help but think we might be changing the mid week thing to a day more feasible.   We met that night at the panera (4 of us) place and we discussed moving it to a different day,  ultimately Wednesday remains the same but the location will be the Panera.  Gillion said she will fix it when she has time.   PJ chimed in and she loves Panera but she suggested moving the time to 6.  She said whe she started it was at 6.  I vaguely remember it being that but we moved it earlier because it would end up being late when we get out.  I personally like it when it's earlier because depending on the week I get home earlier.   It has been ten days since my last correspondence.   Every time I wanted to write I was either too tired or busy. Work has been satisfactory.    Getting things relatively organized.   There were a couple of times I was getting annoyed with myself when doing the health logic.   Trying to get the daily work done by trimming the documentation down to the things needed.   It happened again yesterday.   I didn’t leave there until 4:30. Overall, the lIast ten days the students have left for the semester and Commencement activities are this weekend with Commencement ceremonies on Monday.   I don’t expect too much traffic to be early in the morning.   I thought it would be going home but not that bad either. We learned last week that my colleague Toni lost her husband a week ago yesterday.   We got the email regarding arrangements.   It is this Thursday in East Haven.   I was a little nervous when I got up Monday morning.   I said I got up, but I really didn’t sleep much.   I wasn’t sure Joni got my message about the change in venue.   By the time I got to the restaurant I was relieved to find her waiting for me. The Reason I wanted to get to work early was I wanted to make sure the health logic for the last three days were printed out early and sorted early.   I believed I had a staff meeting at 9 but I learned I was wrong. I checked with the Supervisor. I had no idea what time I would be back from Lunch.   I was back by 2:30 but it was well worth it.   We talked about everything.   We were both fans of the NCIS TV Show and we talked about how it changed over the years and the fans, and the writing.   It was clear to hear the atmosphere on the set changed for her.   We also talked about growing up in our perspective towns.   As two o’clock approached we said goodbye and we left the restauran...

Some of us will be going back to work in 9 or 10 days.   There will be many who will be working from home still and those who like me will be sporadically in the office.   The union was able make arrangements with the Uni to continue to pay for those who are home past July 10.     As I said previously I made sure to let the union stewards know I am ready and willing to go back to work.   One was afraid that if I didn’t I would have to go into the pool or find another job within the university.   I don’t know if I will be sharing my desk with someone as there are some changes coming down the pike Two departments will be merging another will be outsourced and the Customer/Patient service is safe.   Accounts receivable (claims department, follow up, cash posting and some others) are fine.   There will be some that could be asked to retire.   As its two people I have worked with one for nearly my entire career in YM and another for the las...

Good morning it’s Friday again.   It is 64 degrees and cloudy and rainy for the day but it will eventually be in the 70’s.   It will be the same way until tomorrow afternoon or evening.   Sunday is supposed to be better. I would like to say I had a great time at the trivia game last night unfortunately, the background static and interference made it difficult.   Author51 did an awesome job as emcee.   It really gave me a headache.   I don’t know what’s going on and I don’t think it’s the computers but the internet.    I am not making sense but again we pay for good quality services and the providers should make sure they are doing what is necessary. Yesterday was absolutely awesome!   I got Daimian’s home a little after 1:30 as many others were as well.   We spent the afternoon talking about everything.   Including Condo’s, and history of the holocaust and how some movies and TV shows take liberties with historical moments such as the Nazi Occupation.    We also touched on certain situations that happened early in the history of the group.   For those who didn’t know about it.   There were so many other conversations.   We also celebrated Paula’s birthday.(it actually .was on Friday so I need to update the birthday list). There was s variety of delectable foods.   I tried so hard to be good.   I had the salad and fruit salad unfortunately; I had a piece of cake and biscotti, and candy.   I was feeling guilty.   I thought I would be so prepared.   I had had some nuts and protein drink before leaving for the meetup. Its early Saturday morning and I am supposed to be at class but bailed for more sleep.   I may try and get there before it closes for the day and I head out to hear the Reggae band in Madison.   I spent some time trying to find it on the map and see how long it will take.    I am going to have to leave here around quarter of nine to get there by 9:30.   It is much further than the Madison Beach Hotel.   Not by much but I don’t go to Madison much.   I did enjoy reading about the town.    I had a feeling the town was named after President Madison (yeah Mrs. Captain Obvious).   I have the Little House on the Prairie Movies on Hallmark channel and I have been waiting for a long time to see the very last Movie “The Last Farewell”.   I hadn’t seen it in so long.   I am sure the channel will edit it for ads and promos but I still want to see it.   It’s on at 11. Today is Ground hog day and I have no idea if he or she saw their shadow or not.   It’s also Super bowl Sunday and most of the channels that do sports seem to be featuring it.   Actually the one channel is airing the super bowl is Fox and is in years past it’s at 6:30.   I probably will be watching NCIS: LA until 8 when NCIS will be on in repeat on CBS.   That’s great too because it was on last night as well. Yesterday was an awesome busy day.   In the early morning we did our normal routine and I hope to continue the feeling of accomplishment and fun for a long time. I went to the gym and managed to weigh in and I lost two pounds.    I was so pleased despite my worries of the diet this week and the amount of times I went to the gym (A pointed out that it would have been a little better if I had come a few of the last few days.   I did argue that two of my nights I got home around 9 and considering my bed time is at 9:30 I couldn’t go. ...

I still haven’t posted the last two entries yet.  One needs to be edited or add more to it. I have just been too tired or too lazy? I should tell you the party on Saturday was great!  The house is beautiful the ride to there and back was just phenomenal.  I think I would love being there. according to Reena it's only 15 minutes to my town. The food was delicious and I ate everything including the desserts and food I wasn’t supposed to have.  I do feel bad that I didn’t bring anything of a gift. I really should have read this days earlier.  A part of me already knew it but she also said no need to bring anything.  I will know better the next time. It's been a mixed bag this week.  Monday I spent most of the morning working on refunds and realized I made mistakes on the data entry.  It wasn’t as bad as  thought but it took longer to finish them.  It shortened the time I spent on the scanning which lead us to be backed up (not only because of that but because of the systems failure last week).   Tuesday I participated in a tour of the Cushins Brain Center here at the med school.  My friend “LL” who has so much Yale spirit arranged it.  It was all part of the Employee spirit week currently going on. It was also the day for the  committee meeting and by that time I was beginning to think I was never catching up.  THe meeting talked about the EPM and the membership meeting. IT was brought to our attention there was a HR involved incident in EV’s area.  Some argument that got physical. Names were not mentioned and quite frankly it irritates me.  Just say who and then remind...

I have been putting off writing because I haven’t written all week.  THe other reason is by the time  get home or have any time to myself i don’t have a lot of time to write or I got tired and head to bed. Easter was great for me personally..I ended up having dinner with my sister and her family and we got into conversations that probably should have been left unsaid. I did received a text message from sis the next apologizing for the things she said or the manner.  I still will maintain she will never accept responsibility in any issues she is having with her siblings.  I managed to get to see my newest Great Nephew who had just turned two months old that Sunday.  His brother J was testing his parents tolerance level because for the very first time in I think forever I heard my nephew A raise his voice to his son.  J is can be very difficult to people around him.  I am told he loves his brother.  I am wondering if he will be a troubled ch...
