  It is a beautiful Friday morning. It's about 68° sunny and some clouds were supposed to be cloudy all day. I don't have much planned for today except housekeeping trying to pick up some stuff relaxing. Yesterday I made it to Peabody Museum. LG could not make it after all, so it took an hour and a half to get through it. The exhibits were great three floors I know that I missed some stuff, but I got to see Burke hall of dinosaurs the ancient Egypt and Mesopotamia Mesoamerican in Ancient Egyptian & Andean civilizations I guess they call it.   All names that probably mean nothing to anyone else.     TBH some of it was a little boring but I still enjoyed it.   Don’t tell anyone On the way home I called Mama Roberta, and we caught up on things for each of us.   She and Papa celebrated their birthdays and anniversaries on Tuesday with a dinner out.   She says they go out early in the morning or late at night when it is cooler.   They really do...

I have no idea what my original entry for today was going to be but here it will be mixed in I am sure.     The numbness from the tooth extraction wore off just as I was going to bed.   My tooth was hurting a little then and a lot this morning.   I did take Tylenol and it’s a dull throb now.       I called the oral surgeon’s office and still must register online.   I am not anxious to do it now while at work.   Something tells me my schedule for next week will be changing a little more. I sent Liz a message and told her the results of last night. Well I survived my first week back at work.   There were a few times I thought I fucked up so bad that I would be in trouble but I survived it.   The issues I spoke of earlier in the week about the mail continued until Thursday when all 14 bins arrived.   Shadow and I were working on them and almost done.   Admittedly she does it much faster than I.   I am concerned about that. I did have computer issues that needed to be dealt with but by Friday I tried to get any personal distractions out of the way. Most nights I came home exhausted.   I didn’t do much except the important to me stuff.   That would be the cats, my dinners, and walks.   I left stuff to be done to later today.   I missed the meetings (I didn’t have to go according to Barbara) and I missed the weekly meetup.   I went to bed by 8 on Wednesday.   The rest of the days were late nights.   There was one hiking meetup that was supposed to be this Sunday but was...

We did our normal routine this morning and I decided to lay down for at least an hour.   JOC and I were supposed to go for a walk at 8:30 and while I was showering and getting ready she sent me a text.   Telling me she would have to bale.   So I have been slow on moving and resorting to watching TV again. It is overcast right now and 70 degrees out and it feels nice.   The forecast is calling for showers today.   My front yard looks great or at least better but the back yard not so much. I may have said this but I would much prefer that Mother Nature do the work instead of me hauling the hose all over the place.   Besides that our water authority (which is the water company) is asking the residents of the city not to water the lawns right now.   The water has been brown in some areas. Just like yesterday Today would have been Foran HS Senior awards night but because of the pandemic and the social distancing and all the executive orders to stay home it was cancelled long before the in person school year ended.   The official school year was supposed to end next month so I am not sure if they are still distance learning even now.   Again just like I said yesterday even if they didn’t cancel it I would not have attended and probably asked Chairman Rich to present it.   However with the limited funds we have for the scholarship something tells me we would have only done it for one and not both schools. So my plan to spend the afternoon catching up on letters to my pals came to a screeching halt after the union meeting.   During the meeting it was stressed that we finish the union check in with members.   We are very much behind on that front.   WE have some preparations to make for the next contract and apparently for when we go back to ...

Today is the last day of work for me this week.   When the supervisor called me he explained he needed to stagger the number of Staff in the office.   So that’s why I had Wednesday and was working today.   I made some more dents in the amount of mail to open but the finance office sent some mail that they received so I had to open and sort and put the checks in the safe.    This is what gets me…If it came from THEM they should have checked the mail that was open for checks because there were a couple of checks in it.   I know that I have now 2 Medium size boxes left and three envelope (8x10) types of boxes to open probably next week.   VH was there again today and won’t be back until next week or whenever we are supposed to return.   I checked in with the girls.   ANN was still not feeling well.   LL’s daughter may have the virus.   They kept telling me to go home.   First you all are not my mother or doctor.   They ...

I got a call just after 2 as I was walking into the dry cleaners from PBC letting me know that we do not have to report to work tomorrow or for the near future.   No mail is being delivered to the office and so we especially me don’t need to be there.   We will be paid, and we don’t have to use any of our time.   So I posted to Union steward organizer that I had gotten word and one of my coworkers pitched a fit that not everyone got that same info.   Late in the day I said not my fault.   I had gotten a phone call from supervisor bob.   Didn’t recognize his voice (I was on a walk).   He said do not report to work tomorrow and would contact me if anything changes.   Well After I got back from the walk he had sent an email and told everyone not to come in.   Even those who were told to come are not supposed to.    The University closed us.   Although I am getting the impression again that wasn’t told to everyone in YM as there ...

I am writing this from work again.   So, I think the title of the entry was a move update.      I haven’t done any decluttering in a while, but I Have planned to have some of the girls from my Finding friends group to come and help me in probably February or March.   That’s what I told Lawyer Bob the other day. I still must do that one task Lawyer Bob asked me to do a couple of days ago.   Except I feel I have been busy.   I also left the laptop at home, so I can’t remember verbatim what he wants me to do.   I will have to do it sometime tomorrow. Sometime soon Cleaning lady Livia will come an extra day and help me with the curtains.   I plan on taking them down and getting rid of those that are too ripped and tattered to go back up. I wrote up and scheduled my Thankful Thursday entry last night and thought I would get an early start on today’s entry.   This is Halloween night day.   I am wondering if this will be the last one in this house.   Is this just one of many of last holidays here?   Will I still be here next fall?   A part of me says yes and the other part says no. I was expecting that many of my colleagues at work would be dressing up for the holiday.   I have only seen a few so far. I have the witch hat that Dave gave me for the run on Saturday.   That will be the only celebrating of the holiday I am doing.   We had doughnuts and cider yesterday. I already regret taking it. As I mentioned earlier I had a great time at the Meetup last night at Panera.   I really missed everyone and got a chance to meet two new members.   One is Alexandria and the other is V. First day back to work and it's been hectic.   First I slept or ignored the 4:30 alarm that I had set for myself and finally got up when the wonder twins woke me up.   I was quite surprised they stay in their spots on the back of the couch for as long as they did.   When I finally got up we did our normal routine sans the litter box.   I will do that when I get home for the gym.   Yeah I know that’s probably way too much info.   Sometime after 6 I got ready for work.   I am going to have to look through my wardrobe for more appropriately seasonale attire I think.   I gathered my things and out the door by 7. I made it to the shuttle a few minutes before It arrived and by the time we left West Campus it was completely full!   One person remained behind for the next shuttle (I am guessing).   Some of the other passengers suggested in jest that we need a bigger vehicle.   I hope this isn’t going to be the normal this...

Well Sunday was an absolutely Lazy day.  I spent theMorning sleeping or on the computer.  The afternoon was spent on commenting on blogs and doing crossword puzzles.  Late in the day I decided to finish the laundry, and emptied out some pockets of space that I know can be thrown out. aRound 6 I went and did grocery shopping in record time.  I got everything I wanted and a few extra things I didn’t think of until I was there.  Managed to spend under $200. I was home about 30 minutes later. I like that alot. As i was emptying the car I saw next door and told them when the garage needs to be cleared out.  He asked if it could be by Saturday and I agreed. He showed me all the prep stuff that he is doing for his new shelter.  He also told me the things that are in the garage I will need to handle there is a propane tank and a few other things that need to be out in Bulk trash. Friday morning was beautiful.   A nice cool breeze and the sun is shining.  It was 73 degrees in town and back home (I think that's a first for me).  IT was in the mid 80’s and I had an opportunity to get some walking in. Friday is usually  my session with Debra  but I got an afternoon text hoping to reschedule.  We are going to talk on Sunday. I am expecting Big Brother to call me this evening.  I was calling him a few times yesterday so I could let him know the changes on the horizon.  The night got away from him and I went to bed at semi normal time. Some time soon I will be starting to go through the house (my goal is to start in the attic) and start weeding out stuff that needs to go to others or or Good will or trashed.  I will be sending out emails to the family and letting them know this as well.  The only problem doing all this and telling people that in about 6 months I may be moving out.  I may have it wrong....
