I was just sitting here thinking this week went by quickly.   This time last week I was doing the Finding Friends Trivia night and shoving an exorbitant amount of onion rings in my pie hole.   That started my unhealthy weekend and eventual trip to the hospital on Sunday. There were somethings I missed writing about at least a few times this week.   First off my Good Friday post (I was doing a lot of fasting that day had no choice) then subsequently noticing the little things that went on around the neighborhood. We had a couple of Canadian Geese visit the neighborhood earlier this week.   They were here over two days at a few times.   It’s been a while since they did that but I suspect it had to do with the river outback rising from the storm Monday night. It seems I have a middle ear infection.   The nice MD (who apparently doesn’t age) prescribed antibiotics and ear drops.   There was some confusion on one and the other isn’t available or isn’t being paid for by the insurance company.   I managed to access the patient portal for the Internal Medicine and left messages.   I am just waiting to hear from them.   I will pick up the Azithromycin tomorrow either before or after the oral surgery.   It was nearly lunch time when I got back to the office.   The mail was waiting for me and I got to it.   I spent the afternoon working on it and now have only a small handful left that I will add to the mail from tomorrow.   I had a scallop roll/sandwich from Szabo’s and it was delicious.   There were fries with it and a soda all for $9.   It was quite good.   After lunch I continued to work on the mail until it was time to go home. Dear Milford Residents due to the recent Hurricane and its aftermath Halloween will be postponed until Wednesday November 7, 2012.   This will be so that our future generations will be safe as we clean up and get Milford back in order.   According to Milford Patch.com city officials surveyed the hardest hit and canceled schoo l for the rest of the week. Work was as I pretty much expected.   Busy and hectic the volume of the mail was heavy but I was expecting more lockbox.   The lockbox wasn’t handed to me until 11 just about the same time as the second wave arrived.       I spent the hours before its arrival doing re-address mail and chatting with others over storm stories.     .   I saw Liz and Nelson today.   Their street had wires down (and dead for now) and the fire department was trying to remove their neighbors’ tree from the house.    It really cut a huge hole in the roof.   She tells me that Neph...

Okay it’s nearly 9 and I am really getting tired. As I had hoped I took a major break from the paper/file tossing gig from earlier today. It was fun. I have NCIS on the TV in the background 6th Season Bounce episode. I had season 8 “Dead Reflection” on the computer. It was great. Don installed the memory chips and it is extremely fast. Much better and I don’t have to worry no more.  \o/ the video kept going it wasn’t buffering the whole time. Says I won’t have to worry about it for a long time. I had very little trouble with Lulu. She didn’t want to get into the halter but after almost wrestling her into it. I got it on her and we went for a walk to her favorite poop place. I felt like the scene in the early Mark Harmon show where he is walking his dog and the dog smells everything pees everywhere. It is happening. The days are getting shorter. I have noticed for the past several nights that it has gotten dark before 8:30 when just weeks ago it was still light out. It means that the fall season will be here in no time. I actually don’t mind it. I really do like all the seasons for all the reasons. They would be the different activities, the weather changes, and of course the time change. I think the time change is in October this year but I will have to check again. Today went pretty well. I was late to work again (just about the same time as in the last few days). This time I was trying to get the CD adapter/.player that Liz gave me to work. It doesn’t. I probably could have done it when I got home but I was hoping to be playing the music on the way in. I got most of the daily mail done by the time I left. Hey everyone it is after 9 and I am getting sleepy but I need to do something first. I need to write my cousins Bill and Susan in Georgia for being such wonderful and fun hosts while we were visiting them on the Cape a few weeks ago. I don’t know why I put it off but I did. Work went well. I have to finish today’s lockbox now and it won’t take long. I hope to have all of tomorrow’s mail done by the time I leave for the day. I brought Carol H home from work today and told her of the events from Friday. She was surprised at the drama couple’s behavior. I watched most of NCIS at 8 pm because it wasn’t on at all today. There is a marathon tomorrow and it starts at 9 am. Well I am tired and I am going to bed.

Well hello everyone! I know it’s been months since I wrote and to be honest I wasn’t sure what to write. There had been a lot of stress in family issues I wasn’t really prepared to write about. I am glad to report that although the stress and concerns are still there and probably will be for a long time there is still hope. I have been trying to keep busy with all the activities that I can. Work is going well and my health has had good days and bad days. I managed to lose some weight but I also have been having a lot of aches and pains. As I am writing this not so much pain but the day is still young. I have completely dropped out of the pen pal hobby after recent activities. I had received a prison letter and it caused some stress and I handled it the best way I could. The methods didn’t please Mom but by the beginning of the summer I had decided to stop it completely. I have to inform all of my pals that are not on my groups (dropped out of them too) but in contact with a few still v...
