  I made a few phone calls and answered some calls too.   I also tried to access my patient portal at my pcp and was having problems.    I submitted a message indicating that each time I select the tabs, I am redirected to the login page.   I mentioned it's frustrating and if the site isn't fixed, I'll find another doctor I had emailed my cousin Donna about another matter and told her I have Covid.   She asked me if I was given antibiotics and I explained it too far into the time they couldn’t give it to me and the more I think   I am missing something and I am trying to access the information I called Mama Roberta, and we spoke about our holidays and we talked about how I had covid and of course the latest edition of how Liz pissed me off. Neighbor Don texted and called me; he said he'll move my car when he gets home. A major storm with up to 8 inches is expected, so we're staying in.                    It started after midnight.   I can't recall when I looked outside, but I assume it began after midnight.   The snow has been falling all morning, but it's expected to stop soon.    I was entertaining the thought of cancelling bingo at Liz.s suggesting, The landscapers have been digging us out for the last hour.   It's still snowing; I shared a photo of the view with Jim and Janis. I just finished laundry; it's in the dryer now.    I sent it through again I will be folding clothes in a bit. Although 2.14 to 3 inches of snow have accumulated, I still won't be going to bingo. It stopped snowing earlier than expected around here so I moved the car back to my spot.   I'm spending the afternoon on chores. Well the storm is gone and moved out to the east of the state.   The street was cleared and Neighbor Don plowed us out and I left after I got the snow off the car.   I had already called and texted and sent messages to everyone at work. I didn’t  have any problems on the highway or side streets. .  We had more than half staff in the office. Annie and MaryA came in around 12 but my team leads didn’t.  IT was quiet enough but I didn’t get a lot done. While at work the computer screen flashed that actor Luke Perry died.  Any millennial would know who he was. It was a show I watched as well.  I can’t remember if it was weekly or when it was in syndication. As I was driving to the gym Dave sent me a link to an article about Mr. Perry’s death  I told him I had heard about it earlier today. It started around 4:30 5 and that’s about the time I decided to go to the gym.  I didn’t get far.  I realized the gym closed at 5. So I turned around and went home.   At first it was sleeting and then later it was snow.  It still is with plenty more coming.  The BOE cancelled school for tomorrow in town. I haven’t done much except go to the store and pick up the cat food and some others i wanted to try.  Just because they are equal in the package.  I also got some fresh onions to cook in the roast.  I put the roast in when I got home  and it was finished by 8 tonight.  I tried a little piece and it was delicious.  I am not sure the chicken broth was supposed to go in but I used it.  I saved the juice and onions and it's in the refrigerator. Just got another Winter Storm Warning for the state.  I have been trying to figure out when it is going to start and what to expect for tomorrow as well.  Even though the sun is out for now it is expected to start this afternoon.   It will be sleeting and raining and then  turn to all snow.  Yesterday was a good day despite the fact that I gained a half pound so we talked about what to do.  Which included to be vigilant and measure better.  I also need to force myself to go to the gym even if I am tired.  So that’s what i am doing shortly.  I also told Alex that I mention him quite often in this blog.  He had me row for 150 K (I think?) and then I was on the treadmill for thirty minutes and 15 for the bike.  I was supposed to do it for thirty but I weakened. It is snowing and it looks like its a lot.  The flakes are small which if memory serves me it supposed to me it will stick for a long period of time.    Although the snow for friday was mostly gone by the time I left work yesterday.  When I was putting stuff in the recycle bin last night you could see the cloud cover above. I cancelled my 8 am class...and I cancelled the 9 am class but it is still on according to Sarah the trainer (so she posted on FB).  However, not for me.  Mid morning I got a text from Alex asking if I was coming in and I said yes.  The sun was coming out even though it was snowing. Dear Debra:     We have snow!  Instead of rain.  It started about the time I arrived at my house (around 8:30).  It  didn't last long it will last but according to Google it should be snow showers.       I am here at the house for a couple of things. First and foremost to feed the kitties since i didn’t do it last night.  I have to finish cleaning out the litter box too.  I must have felt guilty because I gave them treats and I just notice it in a pile of goo in the back hall.  Not sure which one.  They both were meowing.  I just let them downstairs in the cellar.   They are quiet now.     The second is I am waiting for the Peapod delivery.  It should be here between 9 and 11.  I did get an alert saying that one of the items was not available and or able to substituted.  That’s okay will try next week.     So I managed to get up and get a qu...

All the groceries I needed are bought and stowed.  I just have to gas the car up on the way home tonight and then settle in. I will need to bring in all the mats and small items on the front porch so they won’t get buried or blown away.  I have batteries, and I will charge my phone tonight before too long.  I may have to put the old garbage cans in the garage (they look stupid just sitting out there falling all over the place).  I have already told Supervisor not going to come in tomorrow or Wednesday.  I am hoping to get any and all checks mailed out by the end of the day.  I put the time requests in for it anyway.  By 11:40 I retracted *Bob rejected* it because we were notified that the school is closed until Wednesday 10 am.  So all I have to do is call again Wednesday.   Well I got my snow day.     It started sometime after 5.   I didn’t think it was snowing at all but once I took a second look it was coming down pretty hard.   Been in touch with my FB friends and commented that it hadn’t started.   I recanted.   By the end of day it stopped but very windy.   In some parts of the state power was out and was expected according to the news reports this morning. I have been in contact with Siblings.   J went to work while L snuggled in her PJ’s and doing some cleaning.   Something I will have done by the time I post this.   I took my time with it. While I was watching TV today I noticed that we are getting a new channel (one of the CNN channels was moved to a higher number about a week ago) it would explain why we lost NECN it’s supposed to be a 24 hour news channel.   Not sure why when we have CNN. I could hear Neighbor Don plowing the driveway and it sounded like he was having trouble with the machine earlier as it may have been too much for it. I wasn't sure he would be doing the sidewalk from the house to the main sidewalk but he did.  I got ready for bingo put the rock salt into a safer can that would withstand any other weather coming I put some on the sidewalks that looked pretty clean anyway and then I cleaned off the car and headed to bingo. I got there about 10 minutes before 2 and a short time afterwards I began...I was chatting with some of the residents and there were others who seemed quite demanding i thought I was going to lose my temper.  I didn't really but I get so tired when they do this.  I was really glad it seemed to go by fast. I woke up this morning to see the street had been plowed and plowed well because I can actually see the pavement.  There are some areas that still have snow and ice on it but for the most part its there.  The sun is shining now.  I think we got at least two feet.  I took a picture of it and it may just look like the one I posted yesterday. I got up just before six and fed the kitties, turned the heat up from 68 to 70, and had my coffee.  I decided not to turn the heat all the way down last night because well I wasn't sure how it would be this morning.  It is quite comfortable. This was taken at 10:42 after I had come home from the salon.   It was funny when I woke up at 6 there was nothing in the sky or on the ground.  It was like that until 7:10 when I sent a message to my brother in PA.  30 minutes later it was snowing.  On my travels it was a little hard to drive.  A car got stuck at an intersection and had to be pushed out of the way..

I am sitting here in the living room and the kittens are literally wrestling each other and I am not sure if I should stop it or not.  I heard one little noise from one of them but they are not hissing yet.  They were sleeping until 6. I had a feeling they would be getting up soon its usually the MO.   Anyway,  I saw the news and they are predicting the snow will arrive in CT around midnight.   They are saying that Fairfield county will get 6-8 inches while the eastern part will get 3-6.  I’m not sure what my friends in the North will get.    i was considering putting out the rock salt before it started to snow but the weatherman says if the temperatures is down to 0 it will not do anything.  He did say the next 48 hours will be a challenge and quite messy.  As I told this lovely Nebraska blogger I am hoping for a snow day myself.  I then can do the vacuuming and floor washing that I put off today. February 3, 2014 Dear Friends:     We have snow again.  It was snowing when I got up this morning and its light and fluffy.  It would be pretty too but I am basically tired of it right now.  There is a winter weather advisory for the southern part of the state until seven tonight.  Apparently we also have a Winter Storm Watch for Wednesday too.  Whoohoo.  Have I mentioned I am tired of the snow? I heard from the dentist this morning.  They wanted me to come in this afternoon but I couldn’t because of my hemotologist.  Well we settled for tomorrow morning at 11:15.   After I get that all settled I get a call from Dr. Lu’s office.  They wanted me to come in earlier than five because of this storm.  I told them I couldn’t and so we have it for tomorrow afternoon at quarter of 5.  I was tempted to call the dentist back and schedule it for tonight...but if its supposed to be bad I don’t really want to be out ...
