Well I knew I would sleep through some alarms this morning.   I went to bed around 9 after having some sleepy time and it started affecting me around 10.   I slept hard until about 12:30 and then woke up for another few hours.   The second cup of tea didn’t do as well as the first.   When I finally did fall asleep it was nearly 3 and I was able to sleep until the alarm went off and turned over.   Sky the dutiful fur baby boy that he is came to wake me up. Both Sky and Tiger slept on the couch last night right where I left them.   That’s okay I have a feeling I was able to stretch out a little and got online a little longer during the night as well.   We did our regular morning ritual.   I had to rush to get ready for work, but I was pleased to say I got out in good time and made to it work without incidence.   Can’t say the same for the commuters in Stratford there was an early morning accident on the northbound side of the highway...

I managed to get up at 5:30 and do the morning routine and then get ready for work.   For a brief moment I was going to make it to the shuttle then decided to get in early as I am leaving early today. Hopefully this afternoon the medical Equipment supply guy will be at my house at 3 and take everything back.   I have been in contact with Lincare who called me earlier this week to close the account.   The funny thing is during the week another facemask arrived at the door.   So hopefully no more will come and I won’t be getting anymore bills. Unfortunately, I have a feeling I will be getting them.   I tried to read up on Lincare and customer reviews were not good.   Just like J&L Medical customer reviews.   People were still getting billed when they didn’t get the equipment or, returned etc.   The young woman who was helping me was quite nice even after the third call yesterday. This chick is going to be mainlining coffee all day again.   Actually I didn’t yesterday until I got home.   It’s my own fault.   I fell asleep sometime after midnight and woke up Just before three.   I had some weird dream about demons.   I was outside somewhere and with people I didn’t recognize but they had powers.   I think I have been watching way too much of Charmed lately. So when I woke up just before 3 I did a bathroom run and the cats ambled around from the spots.   Tiger returned to her spot on the cushion above my head while sky ran around and then sat under the table.   I got him to sit with me and now he is playing with something.   I put the clothes through another drying cycle and hopefully will be dried enough for me to wear this morning to Jennifer’s class.         I was hoping it would be fairly quiet day at work where I can get a lot of scanning done and get rid of the readdres...

First day back to work and it's been hectic.   First I slept or ignored the 4:30 alarm that I had set for myself and finally got up when the wonder twins woke me up.   I was quite surprised they stay in their spots on the back of the couch for as long as they did.   When I finally got up we did our normal routine sans the litter box.   I will do that when I get home for the gym.   Yeah I know that’s probably way too much info.   Sometime after 6 I got ready for work.   I am going to have to look through my wardrobe for more appropriately seasonale attire I think.   I gathered my things and out the door by 7. I made it to the shuttle a few minutes before It arrived and by the time we left West Campus it was completely full!   One person remained behind for the next shuttle (I am guessing).   Some of the other passengers suggested in jest that we need a bigger vehicle.   I hope this isn’t going to be the normal this...

Sorry for the disappearance its been fairly hectic after my 3 day weekend.  I have been focus ing on scanning and maybe doing the mail once this week.  I didn’t realize just how low morale was lately until I notice two colleagues spending a lot of time in my scanning room behind the door.  One was a union steward the other someone I consider a friend.  Apparently she was brought in for job related issues and she had what is being said a melt down and scared the living daylights out of the Supervisor which in turn caused him to inform the team that in the future when anyone needs to be brought in for “whatever” there will be witnesses.  Which is technically in our contract anyway.  He was blindsighted and everyone agreed.  He is such a great supervisor and his demeanor easy going and I am saddened that this could change things down the road.    I did say something along the lines of I was sorry to hear this happened and reassured him h...

I feel like I am full of energy this morning.  I managed to get up and go to the gym and have class.  I had to leave it so I could shower, dress, and make it to the shuttle on time.  I did all that and managed to get coffee and got there early!. I was the only one at the first stop but  by the time we left West Campus it was full. So it's been five days in a row that I managed to get the shuttle.  I will be taking one after my session with Debra this evening. My hope is to continue it for next week.  I am debating whether or not to use the shuttle for Wednesday as it is also Meetup night. We didn’t have any problems until we got to the connector into the city where we see the end of an accident.  Three vehicles at different levels of damage. We didn’t have to wait long to pass it. From what I gather others did.  Hopefully that meant the cops were there. Since getting here I have been doing the mail.  Stuff that came late yes...

Well the storm is gone and moved out to the east of the state.   The street was cleared and Neighbor Don plowed us out and I left after I got the snow off the car.   I had already called and texted and sent messages to everyone at work. I didn’t  have any problems on the highway or side streets. .  We had more than half staff in the office. Annie and MaryA came in around 12 but my team leads didn’t.  IT was quiet enough but I didn’t get a lot done. While at work the computer screen flashed that actor Luke Perry died.  Any millennial would know who he was. It was a show I watched as well.  I can’t remember if it was weekly or when it was in syndication. As I was driving to the gym Dave sent me a link to an article about Mr. Perry’s death  I told him I had heard about it earlier today. Contestants it's time to Play “I should have”. I had a feeling when I got up I should have not laid down like i usually do.  I really did want to be at work early today.  I should have fed the cats and promptly got ready for work and left the house before seven.  Instead took my time and got online briefly.  I left the house just about 7:20.  Thought I had enough time to pick up coffee at DD (line was too long for me).  I kept going. The traffic was okay until I got to the connector.  It was backed up.  I thought the traffic signals were the cause.  No it was an accident further down on Martin Luther King Blvd.  Every single intersection on this particular street was blocked off (it's the way I get to the parking garage where I park).  I had to detour down crown and College and then into the garage.  It was slightly awkward coming in that direction.  When I finally parked I asked a couple of people (and naturally) t...

I am sitting here watching the wedding of Piper and Leo on Charmed when I should be getting ready for work.  I always loved this episode and the ones leading up to the wedding.  I haven’t found that with the reboot (used to be known as remake). Sunday was a pretty great day.  It was the first time in a while that I was home in the morning and getting acclimated to the time change.  I watched TV and did laundry and odds and ends until I went to bingo.   Later that evening Tech guy and Mrs Tech Guy came to look at the laptop and there were no residual effects of the ransomware.  We were both able to get into the computer and there didn’t seem to be any issues with the files.  He also uploaded/downloaded the cd from the old tower that died.  The only way I can access the files is through the Office 2016 and that’s still having an issue downloading right.  I just don’t know what I did to know do it right. Got up fairly early and pushed the laundry through and emptied dishwasher and all the while kitties anxious to eat.  Didn’t leave the house until about 7:30.  I drove to work and managed to see James Maroney Candidate for the 14th SEnate waving to the drivers as they got on the highway.   Work had a slow start.  Couldn’t get any system to work at first and even had IT try to get the Citrix program to work.  IT didn’t from their side so will have a techie come in and manually do it.  I spent most of the day on scanning. The drive home again was tense and frustrating for me and the guy behind me.  He was being a royal pain the ass (I had trouble driving because of the glare and the people in front of me) Went to the gym and had my work out with Alex and did about 20 minutes on the treadmill and then went home. I watched TV until quarter of nine and now going to bed.
