  Hi It is 630 in the morning and I am on my second  cup of coffee. I have been awake since 4.  Sky started crying for his breakfast an hour later. I worked on my laundry and dishes slowly.  It will  be done by noon.    My plans for today are to go grocery shopping and to go to the farmers market.   But I really don't want to touch my checking right now.  I transferred the property tax amount  to that account.  I don't feel comfortable  writing that either. Probably pop in on Liz and see how she is.  She seemed tired when I talked with her on the phone yesterday.  She had a doctor's appointment in orange so the traveling part was taking a lot of energy. Around nine I had finished breakfast and sent texts. At the moment watching Lord of the rings.   Greetings, one and all I just wanted to check in.    It’s been several weeks since I last wrote. Since my last check in.’ My Sister came home on Tuesday this week and is already back in Normality or what passes for that.   I met one of her aids on Wednesday and she is lovely.   Liz seems pleased with this.   As of right now the aids are 24-7.   I will meet the weekend girl soon. While she was at the nursing home, she had the first of two-cataract surgery.   I really don’t know how she is feeling She told me I seem to remember her being overwhelmed. Next month her son Chris and his family are moving down to Florida.   They will be staying with friends.   It’s good because school starts early down there.   I still don’t know where they are going.   Today is the last day of work for most departments at Yale and Probably Major Universities are closed except the summer sessions since they are on Compressed schedule.   It is also an Important holiday as America is turning 250.   There are all kinds of activities .   Milford had a Parade in late June but having fireworks Saturday, there is a farmers Market on Saturday.   Unfortunately, I will not be able to go to them as my friend Faith and her husband Jerry are having their annual 4 th of July Picnic in Clinton with Fireworks.   I will be making my pasta salad either tomorrow or Saturday morning.   I think there are 15 or twenty people attending. I tried to see how much I should make but their recipes are not helping, or I am just not getting the gist of it.   June 8th, 2026 , 10:13 am Quite a Week. it's been quite a week.  Last Monday June 1 is becoming a blur.  The highlight was Yale had spirit week starting.  They had special things Planned but I didn't go because my leg was not cooperating.' Tuesday was the last board Meeting for the ladies Guild and the last one for Marth V as president.  I learned that our Pastor FR Aiden was reassigned to another parish toward New London.  We are planning a gathering sometime next week.  Our installation dinner is in two days.  We also discussed budget and what we will be giving out in our scholarship and grants Wednesday was our weekly meetup, and we went to Elis on the hill.  There were six of cus and the restaurant messed up on our order and almost gave us full price instead of Happy Hour prices.  There was a real bad accident in front of the restaurant.   Motorcycle vs vehicle and the motorcyclist was a friend of our waitress.   Good morning. Today is the last day of May, and I hope it will be much warmer than yesterday. I was so cold that I turned on the heat to warm up. So Yesterday I went to the lit drop activity and handed out the leaflets.   Then General response was positive.   There were some conversations that annoyed me.   But it was a huge consensus that the Presidents email should be included on the future literature. We finished early, and I headed home. I stopped at DiBella’s for dinner, then came home to eat and feed Sky. At one point, I went to see Don next door and nearly startled him, which was embarrassing. He had been cleaning out his property as some of the students moved out and was preparing for the next group. I also told him about the young man who came to the door a couple of weeks ago.   As you know, it's been a crazy month.  At the beginning of the month I was sick with gastroenteritis and it took awhile for me to recover.  I also fell a couple of times once at work but I will explain about that in a bit.  The other time was in the bathroom and slid in a puddle of water.  I am fine except I get a muscle spasm when I walk far.  I don’t want to go to the doctor but I will if it gets worse.  Other than that I am much better and I got my appetite back. On May 13, I received a call from Nephew Chris letting me know that my sister was in the hospital after a fall in her home.  She had been in four different hospital for the next few days St Raphs being the last one.  Anyway they originally thought she broke her back but after an MRI finding nothing .  They did discover she recrushed two disks in her back.  She has been in t he nursing home for maybe two weeks now.  She has gotten some visitors.  She maybe has...

  It's been a while since I last wrote.    I have been busy or too tired to write.   Work had been difficult, but things have now returned to normal.    I am pretty much caught up for now.   Until Monday.   Lots going on in the union and contracts are well you can read them.   We have numerous upcoming rallies and activities planned, and I intend to participate in as many of them as possible. This month, I had infusions and follow-up appointments.    I have appointments with Rheumatology, Urology, Nephrologist, and I have more next month.   I currently have a UTI and am taking antibiotics; I'm unsure if I'll be ready for my next infusion.   I'll call them on Tuesday.
