This Week's Meetup

 Early Tuesday morning Gillion asked us where we wanted to meet this week and probably and now definitely meet today since Wednesday was looking like it wasn’t happening.  I could help but think we might be changing the mid week thing to a day more feasible.  


We met that night at the panera (4 of us) place and we discussed moving it to a different day,  ultimately Wednesday remains the same but the location will be the Panera.  Gillion said she will fix it when she has time.  


PJ chimed in and she loves Panera but she suggested moving the time to 6.  She said whe she started it was at 6.  I vaguely remember it being that but we moved it earlier because it would end up being late when we get out.  I personally like it when it's earlier because depending on the week I get home earlier.


I have already looked at the calendar and the 19th I have an appointment so I won’t be going then.


I do remember that I mentioned that summer is harder because they may have appointments (dental for me) family gatherings etc.  I did say for at least me the first two Tuesdays of each month from September to June will be hard because of the ladies guild


Today is our friend Sherry’s Birthday.  She comes to a lot of the parties/picnics but not so much as the Wednesday night gig.  I am actually trying to remember the last time she was at the recent parties.


Gill and Faith have put up a couple of activities for the group one is a discussion on Autism and another one is arts and crafts.  I think I can do one of them but I am not sure yet.  I am going to check about the midweek meetups


I heard from Laura last night that we are not going to get to the  beach this weekend.  She has family member going into hospice.  I hate to admit it but I am kind of glad.

One Day Closer to the Weekend

Today was awesome. I did wake up early but stayed in bed a little longer than I wanted to but that is okay. I got the clothes out of the dryer from last night and watched TV for a bit. I got ready for work and then Mom got up for her meeting at Bridges. The drive to work was great (hardly anyone on the roads or in the parking garage). The crunch was on to get as much AR in as possible for not only Month end but fiscal year end. I think we did pretty darn well. I was concerned that there wasn’t a lot of volume of mail for being the end of month or year but it was explained to me that it’s okay because it’s the time of year (huh?). Anyway, I managed to get all of the mail done and was able to put another dent in the readdress mail. I worked until 6 and did the NOPPS. This will be the only OT for the next week or so. Turning 55

Today My Sister turns 55. Unfortunately all I did was sing her the birthday song. When Mom and I arrived at her house she was having dinner with Rich and Nelson. Actually Nelson was in the backroom napping and Liz and Rich were chatting and eating pizza. Mom had a card for Liz and handed it to her and Liz made some stupid joke “well you spelled my name right!” I gave her a swat. I think about it and wanted to slug her. She pisses me off when she pulls that shit. We stayed for about 15 20 minutes to get a latest scoop on Jess’s wedding apparently some of the gifts were taken or misplaced. We talked about going to the C bridal shower on Saturday. Liz is not sure if she is going. Once that was established we headed home. We had dinner and then I came upstairs and spent the evening watching NCIS and now I am going to bed.

Monday Musings 6/16/2025

  I was going to say it's been busy.   It's just another Monday at work.    I arrived at approximately 7:30 and engaged in a discussion with KB and BL (Administrators) before commencing work.    The health logic sorting commenced at 11:30 following the completion of document printing.        I got them all sorted and ready to be scanned by 1. I spent the afternoon scanning but grew tired.   After work, I was glad to come home, relax, and cook since I had no other plans.    Sky emerged from the closet when I fed him.   Now that I think I will go to bed early.
