WEnt to Work

I was seriously considering staying home this morning when I woke up to the gray dismal spring day but I looked at my eye as I put the drops in three times I decided it would be okay.  As I expected there was lots of mail waiting for me.   I delivered what I had already opened on Monday and then started the rest of it after that.

Things here are moving along.  It’s month end and renovations are moving along.  I found out that Mama Joanie had a mild setback.   She was on her way to an appointment and fell and hit her head.  I sent an email to Denise asking for a full update.  There are lots of things going on around the campus.  The museums and theaters are promoting a whole lot of stuff as usual. The colleges are finishing up their requirements and classes in time for the May 19th Graduation ceremonies.  I usually think we will have a ton of traffic some time during the day but nothing that would directly affect me.

I decided that I couldn't leave the office for any length of time so i made arrangements to have a phone session with Debra.  We talked for a good thirty minutes and she felt I handled this week’s challenges very well.  We will meet at regular time next week.

The women folk had a light dinner and relaxed for the rest of the night.  I kept putting off taking the garbage out because of the cold rain.  I finally did it by the time I went to bed..

A Quiet Day turns into a quiet night

Well it would be entirely quiet if not for the mini wind storm that has been going on for most of the afternoon.  The trees are blowing from side to side and I am just waiting for the rain to start.  Actually we are supposed to get showers later tonight but for now we have a coastal flood watch from tonight until tomorrow and a flood watch from Wednesday night until Thursday morning.

Mom and I had an early dinner and we watched our various programs until Mom went to bed.  I had been watching TV until NCIS finished and I am heading there now.  I am not sure if I am going to work yet or not.  It all depends on what the eye looks like in the morning.  I am going to put more drops in the eye now.

If I do go in I probably will have a lot to do because I am pretty sure no one wanted to touch the mail anyway.  If I don’t go in I probably will do some house chores like dusting and continuing to straighten out the spare room.  I probably could clean the bathrooms.  We will see what tomorrow brings.

Quiet day

I haven’t done very much so far.  Made some phone calls to the office to call in sick and emptied the dishwasher and watched TV.   I am straightening up the spare room for my brother’s visit but he won’t be here for a couple days yet.

The weather isn’t supposed to be great for today or most of the week.  MOstly cloudy and rainy but it does get up to the sixties.   That’s okay not going to be going out much this week.

I think I may have finally gotten the hang of getting the drops in my eye.  It took several attempts but I got it.  I keep hoping it is working because it looks like it is clearing up.

I have done some laundry while Mom is relaxing out back.  

The Shower

The shower at Tea with Tracy Tea shop was lovely on Sunday.  We were late (which seems to be the curse of the women in our family) and we were seated at small table and served salads and then soup and given a menu of different teas and I can’t remember what mine was but it was delicious.  There were a variety of sandwiches in little triangles served on towers.  For Dessert there was Red Velvet cake. We watched Ashley open gifts and each one was a lovely as the last.

We left some time after 4 and I was home by 5.  Mom was upstairs and for the rest of the night it was a quiet Sunday night.  I actually fell asleep until 10:30 in the TV room and then moved into my room and went to bed.

Yesterday I went to work for a few hours but had to go home after it was suggested that i may have pink eye and to go home..  I had already made an appointment for the doctor for 4 pm but they couldn’t change it.

So I spent the time doing laundry and watching NCIS LA and waiting for my appointment time to arrive. AFter the appointment I brought  home a meatloaf and side that Nelson made for us for dinner.

Couldn't Sleep

It took me a long time to get to sleep last night.  I tried almost everything.  I got online to see if that would get me tired, I tried counting sheep.  That was a Baaaad idea. I didn’t try hot or warm milk because it usually doesn’t work with me.

I had a lot of things on my mind I guess.  I am not sure if I  resolved anything but we will see.    When I woke up my left eye was red.  I have no idea what happened but it feels like I banged it up hard.

Today is the bridal shower and I am meeting Liz at 12 at her house and then we will drive to the Tea house in the valley.  I don’t think I have ever been to a tea house before.  It should be fun.

LUckily there is no rain in the forecast it's going to be some clouds and its going to be in the sixties.

In the mean time I am going to putter around the house for a bit until its time to go.

Got Lazy after a while

I am afraid that after the last entry all I managed to do is watch TV and eat more food.  I guess the spaghetti wasn’t enough food for me.  I spent the time watching various shows and movies including the Star Trek with Chris Pine.  That movie basically blows canon for the original series and movies out of the water.

I did manage to talk to Liz about tomorrow’s activities.  We even discussed my wardrobe selections for the party.  It wasn’t a long discussion as both of us were tired from our weekend activities.  As it is I haven’t really done very much else with wardrobe choosing so I am leaving that until early morning.  I have several options and they can be decided in the morning since I am not going to bingo or church that early.

I haven’t updated my health, NCIS, or my pen pal blog yet either.  I have a few things in mind for each but I am now really tired and so I think they will have to wait for another time.

I can hear the rain occasionally falling on the window pane.  It can be soothing and hopefully will put me to sleep soon.

Dear Friends:

    Well its after 5:30 and just as it was reported the clouds have returned for the night.  The sun came out for a number of hours and I probably could have cleaned out my car but decided to stay in and watch whatever I was watching on TV.

    I made dinner for the women folk in the house.  It went pretty well.  It was basically spaghetti.  We had some leftover sauce from earlier in the week and reheated that and cooked up spaghetti.  I had to toss the rest of it.

In a short while I am going to get my outfit ready for tomorrow and get the gift wrapped in the bag.  Then kick back ( like I haven’t done that all day either) for the night.

Its another quiet night for me...

Dear Friends

I had no idea we were supposed to get rain this weekend!  I woke up to puddles and clouds and rain this morning.  Well so much for cleaning out the car today.  I have other things to be done anyway.

Tributes and memorials , and reports continue to pour in through the internet for Maren Sanchez.  The newest report is the 16 year old suspect is being charged with Murder.  I was reading on Patch.com and the comments are way out there and of course angry.  Some people haven’t seen it and others have.  It definitely made it to every almost every state I think.

I did manage to run some errands this morning.  I don’t think I have to go out for the rest of the day so that’s pretty good.  I am trying to figure out what to have for dinner later but again its still pretty early.

Now I am doing the rest of the laundry and keeping up with that.  THere really isn’t that much since I did some earlier in the week.

I could probably write in my other blogs.  I haven’t done that in a while either.

Dear Friends:

    It is the end of a very long day.  I had a half day at work and spent the rest of the day running around running errands and getting some clothes for some life events (weddings, showers, etc).  I also did some grocery shopping and was able to make dinner.

The city has suffered a great loss today a young girl was stabbed to death while at Jonathan Law High School  this morning.  She had turned down a prom date from a young boy and he stabbed her.  Its been all over the news and it happened at Jonathan Law High school where many of the girls from the club attend.   It is all over twitter, facebook and i would imagine any other social media there is.  I thought she may have been a member of our club but she wasn’t but I am pretty sure many of the girls in our girls club know her or knew of her.

    Well I am heading to bed.  I am tired and the rest of the weekend is lining up to be very busy.  tomorrow I will be running around getting last minute bridal shower stuff done (cards, gift bags) and doing a little more shopping.  If the weather is really nice I am planning on cleaning out my car tomorrow.  Sunday is the bridal shower up in Seymour.  It will be for a few hours.

Dear Friends:

The last couple of days were lovely spring days between the sunshine and the rain showers and very high winds.   We are getting high wind alerts and High fire risk alerts for the day.  That means lots of wind for Milford.

Work has been busy with trying to get stuff off my desk by the time I go on vacation in May.  It isn’t always easy as new stuff comes in.  Renovations continue to move along.  Luckily I don’t have to worry about them until next month so hopefully I will have it cleared out by then.  Just found out that the kitchen by the boardroom has been locked up again.  I am taking some time off tomorrow afternoon to do some things.

I had a dentist appointment yesterday and have to go back in may for a filling.  Yay my favorite activity.  My calendar is quickly filling up for May.

Tonight is quiet night.  No meetings nothing but laundry and sleep....

Today was a very busy work day.  As I expected lots of mail.   I need to finish the rest of it tomorrow.  Renovations to the office continue from last week and will continue for the next several weeks.

I had to do a lot of running around after work. I managed to get the bridal shower gift and now all that’s left is an outfit.  I will be doing that tomorrow.

Dear Friends:

    It is Easter Sunday and may all the blessing and gifts that are part of it be all of yours on this day.  I am just getting ready for Bingo.   I Have been up since 7:30 and enjoyed the time of sleep.

Yesterday afternoon as I mentioned my nephew Chris came over and gave us the Lobster dinner he prepared for us for last night’s dinner.  He gave us instructions and the promise to come by and visit with the kids today.  He also promised to help find the medicine MOm has been searching for several days now.

When Chris left Mom and I headed for the store and got the potatoes and a few other things we needed..  It didn’t take long but Mom understood why I was hesitant on getting the potatoes Friday.  So we got packaged potatoes. Once we got what we needed mostly.  We headed home.

After we got home Jim arrived.  Now most of last night is starting to get fuzzy but here goes.  Jim relaxed, Mom got into her pajamas and I relaxed I guess.,  We had our dinner around 6 and was finished by 7.  Jim got the meat prepared to marinated while Mom guided him.  I got the table set up for today.  We all retired to our rooms by 8 or so.

This Morning I stayed in bed until 7:30 even though I had woken before 6.  It was around 8 when I was in the shower that I heard Mom knocking on the door.  I had no modesty and invited her to use the bathroom while I was showering.  She declined.  She had gone downstairs and used the bathroom there.  I had finished in the bathroom by the time she came back up.  She wasn’t feeling good at all but she wanted coffee.

While I got dressed Jim got up and went down.  I spent time getting dressed and getting online for a little longer.  AFter I talked with Mom and Jim for a bit I headed to Dunkin and then on to the Nursing home.

We started bingo on time but it seemed like the games took forever.  I think we actually played about 4 games total.  Marnie was wonderful agreeing to help with Teresa B’s game.  It was Teresa’s Birthday today as well.  Soo Bingo was finished and I headed to church.

    Church was crowded as it usually is for the most important holiday’s in the catholic church.  I sat down and listened to the readings and the music.  I was lucky to “volunteer and help bring the bread and wine up to the priest.  Usually they have already picked someone to do it but apparently they didn't do it this time.  It had been years since I did.  It felt weird on some levels but I was excited to tell everyone when I got home that I did.  After Mass I ran into my cousins and chatted with them.  They had wanted to come and visit but I had to tell them Mom wasn’t up for company.

As I was heading home late (I had promised Mom I would be home by 12:30) I had called Dave.  He had sent me a cute Easter Text and so I decided to call him.  I had to put it on speaker and it was rather difficult but he sounded good and was heading over to his Aunt’s house for the holiday festivities.  We made tentative plans to get together some time soon.

When I arrived home it was nearly one.  I found Chris and his kids outside with Jim.  The kids riding their brand new scooters from their Grandma (my sister).  When they saw me they rode to me and gave me the greatest hugs.  Soon they got ready to go and with a request from Chris to maybe look at my desk for Mom’s missing medicine.  I agreed.  

When I got inside I found Liz putting our dinner in the pain and into the oven.  Mom was sitting out in her chair.  Jim was talking and saying goodbye to Chris’s family.  Liz was getting ready to go too.  I told her about taking the communion up.  She thought that was great.

The rest of the afternoon was quiet for dinner.  We had family visits and then Easter 2014 concluded.

It was a lovely day.

Dear Friends:

    As of 1 I was still in my pajamas.  The laundry is still going and Mom was taking her shower and my hope was to follow suit quickly.  

    I was begging to thinking I hadn’t done very much since the last entry.  Maybe moved some emails around, paid another bill that was due, and watched TV.  See not much done.  I feel I should be moving along but at the same time know that those things will get done and feel it may be too early to get them done.  Who knows.

    Jim called just about 1  and was leaving Allentown and should be here by 4:30 or 5 the latest.  I let Mom know when she got out of the shower.  I am looking forward to this with mixed emotions.  I have to remember to not talk to myself from room to room because he can hear it better than Mom.  It also drives him crazy when I do it.  He would have blown his mind earlier because I was doing it a lot with Mom.   

Of course Mom is really feeling crappier than before so now she is lying down on the couch for a while.  We are waiting for my nephew Chris to drop off the “dinner” in a while.  it is supposed to be awesome.

Dear Friends:

    Hey all It is Saturday Morning and the day before Easter.  I am going to be taking over the rest of the preparations of the dinner tomorrow.  Mom is going to cook the lamb(s) and the side dishes and i am hoping she is going to let me help with the cooking.  Hopefully it won’t be stressful but she isn’t easy when it comes to pressure.  I know that I need to be close by so that she can turn it over.  

I have a confession to make.  I really didn’t do too much yesterday after the last entry.  I did spend time on the computer and then I went to the store to get a few things I got most everything on the list but the one type of potatoes I was supposed to get I didn’t like the looks of and Mom understood so we will go together today.

True to their word Mike & Tess stopped by with the scratch Bakery hot cross buns. They brought them last year so that we had something to serve guests and ourselves.  They were gone by the time I got back from the store.  They had plans of their own for last night and the rest of the weekend.

Mom made Shrimp and rice and it was pretty good.  SHe also made sliced eggplant no sauce.  I finished those up by the time I cleaned the kitchen.  Mom’s mouth has been bothering her and it hurts her to eat and whateverelse.  I was going to suggest that she use the biotin but she does that already.  After dinner I cleaned the kitchen and we just did our own thing.

I planted myself on the couch and became the couch potato until about 10 or so and Mom went up to bed.  I emptied the dryer and put the stuff in the wash in (Mom must have washed the pot holders)the dryer and I came upstairs and got ready for bed.  I did listen to the Profiles in Folk Easter celebration show.  I must have dozed off because I heard something else sometime after that.

My shoulder was hurting me for most of the night and I have a feeling its going to be like this the rest of the weekend.  That’s why I am hoping I do as much as possible.  The legs at this point seem to be cooperating but that could change by the end of the day.  

This morning I have been finishing up the laundry I have two loads going now and two more in the wings.  I did a few other things and will take a shower and get dressed soon.

Mom is still sleeping and I am going to let her sleep for as long as she can.  

We are expecting Jim sometime this afternoon.  When he gets here he will probably take a rest and then for dinner we are having stuffed lobster from Chris and Liz.  At least that what I am hoping is still happening.

It is a beautiful sunny morning and its already in the low 50’s.  Apparently we have some wind advisory and fire risk.  I can’t believe it but I guess anything is possible. At least I don’t think we need the heavy coats today!

WEll if I am going to go shower I have to get rid of a centipede I saw in there earlier..yuck.

Dear Friends:

    Well it is mid afternoon.  Mom just got out of the shower and is heading to the store and in a rare moment still in my pajamas.  The laundry is at lull right now but as soon as I go down it won’t be.  I heard it finish as I came upstairs.

    Our lawn guy is outside starting to work on the yard the first of the season.  He has been been here half hour already. Actually to look at him you wouldn’t know how the hell he is doing this all by himself.  He is getting on in years and is as deaf as Mom.

I had every intention of going to Good Friday Services this afternoon but at this rate don’t think I am going to make it.  I just hope Mom doesn’t pick up on it or it will be another round of angry silence.  As it is now its almost getting back to the new normal.  She keeps jumping every time I am around especially if I walk up to her.  I know I shouldn’t be offended but I am.  

I think I know what I am getting Ashley for her bridal shower next week.  It is a coffee carafe.  I asked Mom about it and she said I hope everyone else doesn’t get her one.  I reminded her its on a bridal registry.  Actually I seem to remember her going off the registry’s in the past.  I don’t like it when people do that.

Well I am going to take a shower and get dressed and relax I guess. My legs are starting to get sluggish again.

Dear Friends:

    Happy Friday to you all.  It is a cloudy 41 degrees out and it will be in the 40’s for most of the day.  Today is Good Friday and for those of us who work in the University we have it off.  At least most of us have it off.  Today will be getting ready for my brother Jim’s visit.  Mom doesn’t know what time he is coming or if he is coming tomorrow.  Either way I am just trying to get stuff done.  I have got laundry going now.  I started it about half hour ago.  I am sorry I just didn’t start it earlier but it is what it is.

    Last night was a really early night for me.  I got home just before 5.  I had stopped at the store and picked up a few things and then went home.  I found Mom asleep in the chair out back.  I noticed she had already gone to Costco so I didn’t have to go back out.  I decided to go and watch TV for a while until I was ready to eat.  

    I decided to get some warm milk and that’s when Mom woke up.  She was not feeling at all well.  She didn’t want to eat and she had been vomiting for most of the day when she wasn’t shopping.  She stayed there for another hour and then got into her pajamas.  She did some stuff and eventually went to bed around 9.

    While she did that I had gotten in to my pajamas and had my warm milk and fell asleep until Ethel called.  She wanted Mom to know we were having two more people coming for Sunday.  She was annoyed at first because she didn’t have enough lamb.  She got annoyed with me because I couldn’t provide her with an answer of “how many is Ethel bringing?” .  When I spoke to her about it this morning (not her reaction to me last night) I offered to get another lamb.  I also offered to help with everything for Sunday.  ‘She expected it”.  (need I say she was rude about it?)

Aside from my arms and legs feeling like lead and applying any pressure on them hurts there isn’t much more to tell.  Mom is cooking downstairs and taking breaks when she needs to and I have been surfing the net when not watching the laundry or TV.  I have paid a few bills.  

So I think I will pick stuff up that just fell behind my desk...and I will check in with you later.

Dear Friends:

No sooner do I finish writing and posting one entry that I am starting another one.  I really couldn’t finish last night so that  is why I finished this morning.  I have a feeling most can tell in my writing.

I woke up really early this morning but decided to stay in bed until  after 6.  I was  already for work and out the door by  7:20 and had gotten the garbage can in its rightful place and the paper in the house.  It was pretty chilly this morning and it is in the 40’s now.  It isn’t supposed to get that much warmer and it looks like both New Haven and Milford have a frost advisory until tomorrow morning.

Work is going fine.  I finished yesterday’s stuff after I delivered some of the flyers for Mama J’s collection.  Then I worked on today’s and after that been working on re-address mail.  I am hoping to get a lot done before the long weekend.  The mood here is excited for the long holiday weekend.  The mail volume has been pretty good so I  am hoping to get a lot done.

I called Liz to see if we are still on for tonight.  She wasn’t quite sure yet.  She has the beginnings of a cold and she was just about to pick up Jason and Audrey for the weekend.    She will let me know later on in the day.  If we don’t go that will be okay.  I am getting tired already and I want to get the laundry done before the weekend starts.

At Lunch I called Mom.  She was resting.  She still doesn’t sound great or strong (and I have  got to get wrapped in my head that Mom isn’t going to be getting any better.)  However, she was planning on getting dressed and getting the lamb for dinner on Sunday.  when I spoke to her earlier   if she hadn’t picked it up I think I may be doing it.

Dear Friends:

last night was a semi-success.  Even if it started rather late.  When I got home Mom wasn’t home so I called Liz  and suggested I wait until Mom got home..  Mom had gone to the Doctor by herself (stubborn) and then she went to the store..  I left once we put the groceries away and she was upstairs getting in her pajamas..  

When I got to Liz’s she was on the phone with my niece about the shower.  She seemed to be panicking about the RSVP;s. Liz wasn’t as worried as her or the MIL (Ashley’s Mom).  After all that and a few minutes of chatting we took off for the stores.  First stop was Talbots but they were closed by 6.  Our next stop was Dressbarn where we picked out but put on hold three possible choices (all in the size 16 range).  We left there and went to Christmas Tree Shop,  LIz needed stuff there.  

It was getting late and windy and rainy so we headed back to the house and I came home and watched TV and then went to bed..  Mom was still awake and I told her we haven’t found anything yet.  I actually went into more detail today when I saw her.  Anyway we will be getting together tonight I think to look at more dresses.  It really felt good that I went down in several dress sizes.  I am usually a size 20 or 22 and 1x or 2x.

Work went well and was very busy.  I managed to get a flyer written up for Joanie and will pass it out tomorrow.  I do have to finish today’s stuff tomorrow and hopefully I will be able to work more on the re-address stuff as it really needs to be cleared out by mid May..  We did get some good news Kathy B has a job in Reimbursement in two weeks.  I found out as I was leaving the office so I ran back and congratulated her.  

When I got home Mom was in the back   She wasn’t really feeling good and her voice seemed raspy,.  She had her dinner (I wasn't hungry) and I relaxed for a bit and then got the minutes written up from last month for tonight’s meeting.  As the time got closer I had to make sure things were ready for refreshments.  Mom ended up not staying up for the meeting.  M&T came and helped with refreshments.  Tessa stayed with Mom until more people came.

The meeting finished fairly early despite the late start.  We had 11 people and several of those who said they would be there didn’t show up.  I find that rather annoying..  We discussed email delivery and a number of other things such as the fundraising and finding good candidates for various positions for the next election..  Everyone helped clean up and I was relaxing by 9:30.  

Now that the garbage is out and I have checked my emails and forums I have to go to bed.  I am tired and starting to get a little achey.

Dear Friends:

    Well its the most anticipated and stressful day of the year isn’t it?  Its Tax Day.  For those of us who waited until the last day to file.  In this tax season there has been a focus on unscrupulous and fraudulent tax preparation places here in Connecticut as well as everywhere else..  Some were referred to as Store front tax preparing companies for some reason that confused me as the legitimate ones could also be storefront types as well.  They have to be licensed I guess.  The state is offering free preparation as well.  As I mentioned yesterday I don’t have to worry as i managed to get it done on Sunday with little or no problems.  I am not sure what next year will bring but who knows.

I think we got our first April shower for the spring.  It has been raining all morning and it is in the high 50’s.  We are supposed to be getting snow into tomorrow morning.  I am not really looking forward to it and my hope is it won’t amount to much. and from what I hear we are not getting much.  That;s a relief,

Work is going okay.  I got here a little late but I overslept again.  I had set my alarm but I woke up during the night and it really took me a bit of time to get back to sleep.  I even took some cold medicine because I had been sneezing. I worked on the re-address first and then I got the lockbox around 9:30 and an hour later the first round of us mail came.

We found out that MamaJ will be out for another month and half while she is getting better from her bout with the flu and pneumonia.  So I was asked to make a flyer.  I was a little nervous about doing one because you never know how it will come out.

I am supposed to get together with Liz tonight to go shopping for the blouse.  I called her around 2 today but had to leave a message.  I am thinking if she can’t go I still have to go.  I could probably go later on in the week but I am afraid it will be too hectic..  Well I actually don’t have to worry about going alone.  We are meeting at the house and she is going to look at the suit with me and then we are taking off from there.

I have a little more work to get out so I am going to close.....

Dear Friends:

    This weekend was not the best weekend.  Friday night after chasing after “Max” when he escaped from the back yard I fell while holding on to him and he got loose from me-again.  I had scraped hands, knees and bruised hand not to mention ego.    Lucky wasn’t being at all lovable so I left him to his own devices.

    Mom was sleeping when I came home so I let her sleep after getting a few instructions from Liz.   I woke her up for her meds at 9 and then a half hour later she went back to sleep and I eventually went to bed.  The rest of the weekend between was the pits.  She was obnoxious and mean spirited.  Yes I realize she may not be feeling well but when she mistakenly thought I was on warfarin I tried to tell her and she was rude.  So she was absolutely unbearable for the rest of the weekend.  As I have maintained I don’t give a flying fuck that she is sick or dying and has pancreatic cancer.  If the positions were reverse and I was mean bitch and abusive there would be no question that I would be put in my place.

When I talked with Liz about it she was totally understanding and feels terrible about it.  She keeps reminding me that I need to be patient and maybe try and turn things around by changing the situation.  Its a good idea I guess so I tried it tonight when I got home.  I will see how it worked later.  Anyway Liz and I are making plans to do some shopping for a blouse for the outfit I am wearing to the bridal shower in two weeks.  Our hope is to go tomorrow after work.  I still have to get gifts too.  Liz also told me that Chris is making us Lobster for Easter dinner.  Its Liz’s and his gift to us.

Saturday night I went to Newington with the Mexican Train game gang.  We got there by 7 and had dinner and listened to the band until about 9:30.  I Had so much bread I was unable to finish my meal so I ate it on Sunday.  

On Sunday I had learned that my resident Bingo player Joe C had passed away earlier that Morning.  According to the reports he had stopped taking his medicines.  His wife Mary was crushed.  She told me he was tough on me.  Something I admit I don’t mind now.  Mary has promised to come back and help with bingo in the future.

After we finished bingo I went to Palm Sunday services.  It was a long service and unfortunately my legs were not cooperating that day.  I am not sure if it was because of the stress from earlier in the weekend or not.  

Sunday afternoon the atmosphere around here was tense so we left each other alone for the most part.  MOm did her bills and I managed to work on my taxes.  It took me about two hours in all to do it.  That included installing the program and paying for it and what not.  After I finished that I spent time watching TV and doing a little bit of laundry that I haven’t finished.  I put it in the dryer after dinner tonight.

Mom went to bed late because she had lied down for a nap.  She was not feeling well and she didn’t look good at all either.  

I ended up staying in my room for the rest of the night and went to bed by 8.  I was pretty tired so I was glad I went.

Today was a good day.  The weather was beautiful.  Traffic was light because of spring break for local schools.  The mail volume was enough that I could spend a lot of time on the readdress mail.  unfortunately I got a lot more and just added it to the never ending pile.  The offices are going to be painted in the next month or so and we have to make sure the walls are cleared off and the computers shut down in time for the two day paint job ( which should be a weekend in May)  My hope is to have everything cleared out and I will be on vacation at that point.

Mom is heading to bed and I think I will too.
