The mail for the other floors is starting to pile up even more (this includes interoffice mail and regular post office mail). It doesn’t help when people walk in and comment on it. I nearly bit off JackieM’s head when she walked in and made a comment. By then she had been the sixth person in two days. I happen to have been working on the daily mail which to me is freaking priority. I also had the opportunity to get the lobby mail that was there all week.
The last two days were exhausting to the point where I didn’t go to the DTC meeting and went to bed early last night. I got news about the car as well. I wasn’t feeling well either.
The news about the car isn’t good. The pin that holds the timing belt broke and caused serious damage to valves in the engine and TC needs to pull the engine out and fix it. It will take some time and could be expensive ($2200-$2500). Good news is Sis offered the use of her car while she is away next week. She will pick me up on Sunday and I will drop her off and take the car. I just told Mom about it when she got home from Dinner. She was happily surprised by the news and fact that Sis offered the car.
I saw Debra yesterday told her about the week and the current struggle with the car. She felt awful. I told her how things at work went including the firestorm at work. She gave me the insurance forms to submit to Aetna. I can do that tomorrow.
It’s been very chilly this evening. It has also been cloudy all afternoon as well. The rain is supposed to start in a couple of hours there is a chance of Thunderstorms all day tomorrow. \o/.
I am tired so as the normal Friday night I am just going to chill. I hope all of you had a great Friday and hopefully a great weekend. I will be around.

A rainy Friday
Well I am at work right now been here since quarter of thanks to Carol B and her husband for picking me up from the garage. They came just in time to. My umbrella reverse itself while I was waiting. I am so glad i have the other one here from earlier in the week. Although Shirley tells me we won't need it later.
The reason the car is in the garage because it was over due in so many ways for its oil change and of course the maintainence check up. I am so afraid of the costs though. I hope it isn't more than five thousand because I am up shits creek if it is.
Well it is after 8 and I just warming up. It will be a quiet night for sure. Doing absolutely nothing if I feel like it.
I took a walk at lunch time and it was freezing. It was one of the few times it stopped raining but the wind was very cold. I had no problems with the umbrella this time. I was back at the office a short time later.
The rest of the afternoon I did the charts, readdress/personal mail, and the bad addresses. I wasn't able to do the bulk mail but I can do that Monday I hope.
Liz sent out pictures she took of her grand babies Jason and Audrey and they were just too precious. They were of Jason in a tree in the yard, playing with his sister, and apparently Audrey is starting to stand up on her own! Oh and Jason is now entering that wonderful stage of pottie training. WTG Jason!!!!
I called Mom today to what she was up to. She says that Jim called and he would like to come up next week. I reminded her that the Oyster Fest is next week. She says she will have to bow out of it. I wish I could but I made a promise to Kerri.
Dolette was able to give me a ride to the garage this evening (traffic really was heavy). I am happy to say it wasn't as bad as I thought. I won't have to take a loan out to pay it.
When I got home Mom was getting ready to cook dinner. I came in with a growl because my sweater got caught on the door handle. Mom didn't appreciate it. It was freaking cold in the house so Mom put the heat on and now it feels better.
We had spaghetti with Clam sauce on it. It was delicious. After dinner we did our own thing. Mom was sending my clothes through again. The clothes she had on the chest in the spare room got rained on earlier today.
I am starting to get tired. I watched some TV but it isn 't holding my interest for long....I might work on some of the minutes from the board meeting and then go to bed.
