I am having a hard time Sleeping

I am having a hard time falling back to sleep. I have been surfing the net and reading emails. I tried to write some of the entries for the Niagara Falls Trip but already editing it before I even start. I knew I should have written it each night but I was either too tired or it was too late. I reposted yesterday's entry to the Journaling list’s Mid Week Reflection.




As I take a look around the room I am definitely going to have to do something about this room. The electrician is coming next Monday to see about the phone wires (AT&T can’t do anything and the Cable company is really worthless). They are the ones that messed them up and they won’t take responsibility for it. I don’t know if this was such a good idea to get our phone service from them. Its great that we have the Internet (that is also questionable sometimes) and more channels for the TV but I just hope they will provide us with better service.



I have the next couple of evenings off so hopefully I can get the chores done before the weekend. I have a couple of things to do for the weekend. First is the Mexican Train gathering in West Haven and of course Sunday is volunteer day. I was supposed to participate in the FAAN walk in Milford but I really didn’t prepare for it or collect donations for it.



Okay I better get going its late and the alarm is set to go off in just about 2 hours….

I just Realized Something

I just realized as I was riding on the bus that two months from yesterday I will be on my vacation to Niagara Falls Canada. I have still so much to do. I was talking to Mom about it yesterday and today (she didn’t care that it is two months away). We talked about wardrobe. I told her I would like some sweaters some nice looking sweatshirts. She did suggest that I not take my three white blouses as they are hard to iron. I have a feeling that at some point we will be going shopping for clothes for the trip.




The rest of the afternoon and OT went well until about the time I needed to get ready to leave. The batch I was working on was out of order in the line up and as I tried to scan it the papers jammed and got out of order. I wanted to leave by quarter of 6 but left a little earlier. On the way to the bus stop about three buses I could have gotten on drove by. I was actually too far away but had a moment of panic when I saw them. I did get my bus that I have been getting all week.



Just as I was getting settled in for the night I realized I left my UB port stick at work I was hoping I could use it at work but didn’t know what I was doing wrong. I have to remember to bring it home tomorrow.



It has been really humid out and the sky was becoming overcast. Unfortunately there isn’t any rain yet. I hope it does come because it’s already going to be hot. We are supposed to be getting thunderstorms tonight and the same tomorrow (at least for Milford) it could be different in New Haven.



We had pork and rice for dinner tonight and it sucked. That’s right something my mother made actually sucked. It was too dry and crunchy. I actually wasn’t that hungry because of the salad I had earlier. Anyway, I couldn’t finish it but ate the rest of the corn on the cob.



The girls are home! They arrived in Boston at 6 and were coming home this evening. I can see them walking around and I heard Finian. I sent an email to Kim welcoming them home. I told them I would love to see them tomorrow night if they are open for it. I have a feeling I will see them Saturday.



Speaking of visits I suspect that in the next few days the PA branch will be stopping visit. The girl’s tennis camp is in MA and they want to stop by with Jamie. I think Jim was hoping to have been here by now but that didn’t work.



Well I figured I wouldn’t be able to get the monthly newsletter started tonight. I looked over last months to see how it started and where I could update but that’s as far as I got. I am just going to have to do it when I get home tomorrow.
