  I actually did about 45 minutes the most of getting the close started.   Most of what I looked at I am keeping.   Something I knew would happen if I didn’t have anyone else helping me.   The cats certainly couldn’t do it.   Sky kept sleeping in one of the boxes out back.   I gave up trying to get him out now he is just sitting on the ledge calling for dinner.   Tiger spent a couple of hours on the bed sleeping.   I called Liz but she was working on the computer. The short conversation with Liz pretty much dealt with the house selling and condo buying.   Should have I done more (I am at times feeling like I should have been more involved with the whole process) or done differently she said no.   She learned a lot she didn’t know before and I I think I did too.   For example, writing that letter to the realtor or anyone who needed to choose the new owner of the new abode.   She did ask if I had from Cheryl about the closing d...

Somehow my afternoon after 12 pm, whizzed by me. We did our normal routine at the beginning of the day and I fell back to sleep for a bit and then spent time on the laptop. I was surfing the net and chatting with a pen pal who was having a hard day.   Missy lost a dear friend of hers of 19 years to Corvid19 and it was difficult.   He did a lot of stuff for her and she was just sharing the things he did for her.   She shared news about her mom that I didn’t know and it was fairly tough. I went to the gym this morning and did the class.   We had it outside despite the clouds above.   We were just waiting for the rain to start it didn’t come until we were already gone. I never got the water bottle that I left there on Thursday.   I checked yesterday and again today and it wasn’t there.   I thought she found it for me.   Either she lied or someone threw it away.   It belonged to RH from the DTC.   I did manage to go to rite-Aid yeste...

Day two of my long weekend.  I slept in this morning for the first time in a long time.  I also slept on the couch this morning for no particular reason but that I wanted to.  When I heard the alarm go off we did the morning routine.  I actually fell back into a deep sleep.  Awoke to find sky above me and Tiger is somewhere. I called the vet for the titans because there is still liquid poo.  I don’t know who did it but I am betting it is my girl.  They suggested the chicken and rice and mix the two canned food for a few days. So starting tomorrow I will mix the two canned food.  They spent the rest of the day in the bedroom closet and came down around 3.  I fed them dinner around 5:30.     I had gotten a headache while on the phone with Mama R and about an hour later I was getting sick.  Luckily it wasn’t as bad as the previous week but it was uncomfortable. Well it is another Friday night. Mom grilled steak on the grill outside. The temperatures have dropped quickly. I wasn’t expecting it to drop that quickly. The thermostat reads 40 degrees already. I am not planning on doing very much tonight. Tomorrow is a different story. I was planning on going to help out the last push before the election but instead I am going to work on my room and the laundry. I have to also renew my car registration and pick up the gift for my 20 year service recognition. This has to be done before I have everyone here for the Mexican train game tomorrow night. Sunday will be my regular Sunday activities. I was hoping that I wouldn’t have to out at all Sunday evening but it looks like we have a Board meeting at Telka’s house. It will be six thirty. Hopefully it won’t be very long because I want to be back here in time to see Certain Prey. I made some time to update my Birthday list. I have included the first few days of December. The morning was rather slow. I finish up the laundry and changed the sheets on my bed and vacuumed my room while taking little breaks and watching Charmed. I also went to the post office to get stamps and then to the library to drop off the videos so they can be donated. The sun was out for most of the morning then it got cloudy just before 10:30. Actually the weather forecast for today did call for partly cloudy and into the night. I guess they were true to their word. The rest of the day I just hung out and either watched TV or took a nap. I got tired near the end of the day. I really didn’t do much as I said. Well I had a lovely chat with Emily about her Halloween. She and Kristina went in their pajamas and Jamie went as the Scream demon in the movies Scream. You will not believe how warm it was around here. Hey it is been a really humid day. I have had the ac on for most of the afternoon. It looks like we are going to get some rain tonight. Either that or the days are already getting shorter! I can’t say I was really busy but I did stuff. I am a little pissed the mail guy didn’t come until oh say 5 this afternoon. I had to go to the post office and mail the two intro letters and the letter/payment to Debra. I was going to go to church but decided to go tomorrow. I came home and watched TV and flopped around. Mom went to dinner with her friend Martha. This is something they do every couple of months. Mom had bought me some rolls from her trip to Joe’s today. She suggested that for dinner I cook up the salad shrimp and have it in a sandwich. I was really not in the mood to do it. So I had cereal and potato salad. Now that it is 9 I am going to go to bed.

Yesterday was a pretty good day. I worked and then went to the pharmacy to pick up some “stuff” that I needed. It was well after 4:30 when I got home. Mom was cooking dinner. Joe and Ria were over Bob’s house. Now this is what pissed me off a little. He asked if we all could eat around 7. Not a problem considering I had a huge lunch. He called back three more times and said that Bob wanted them to stay longer. So they did and we went ahead and ate. They didn’t get back to the house until maybe 9. Mom had the leftovers from dinner still cooling on the counter. My whole problem with this is that we had two things we could have done if we had known earlier that they were going to stay for dinner at Bob’s. We could have gone to the wake for a third district member. We could have gone to the reception for Gayle Slosberg. I am going to love today. I am not doing bingo today because I had already told them I would not be in town this weekend. That changed late last week so I didn’t want to change that. I slept until 8 and then got up and got online and watched TV for a bit. I did some laundry and then went to church at 11:30. Despite the fact I wasn’t feeling well mass went well. Even though there were two families around me that had kids continuously talking or crying. Usually I get aggravated but I couldn’t help but giggle when the little boy in front of me yelled out and Father Callahan included him by saying “but I just started”. I think the father of the little boy was going to kill the kid and the mother just wanted to sink to the floor. I went straight home from Mass and watched TV for a while. I was watching POV the 49up. Apparently the writers or producers followed several people from the age of 7 to 49 years. Checking with them and seeing how their lives were and if anything changed w...
