all Moved in I think

I thought we would be all moved in but the last three remaining departments, Collections, Registration, and PT services all move in on Monday.  Those who are already in the building are still getting the kinks out and getting a new routine down.   At times it felt like we have been there for a while now instead of just four days.

I know there are adjustments that I need to make for myself and will offer that to Supervisor on Monday.  I will also have to make sure I refer to team lead from now on.  Considering she sits right behind me now instead of across from me.

Today was not a good start.  I had to come home to get my id as I left it home.  Luckily it only took about 45 minutes.  I need to print from the shared printers anytime I print something.  We will definitely be in a regular routine by the middle of February.

I made it to the gym as of today three days so far this week.  Wednesday was very tired and come home from work and did the normal routine and then went to bed as early as possible.  Last night I went and did cardio and after that my right leg was in so much pain.  I couldn’t walk well, or lift it to go upstairs or sit down, and when I made it to the floor (by sliding to the floor from the couch) it was difficult to get back up but I did.   I had to the 4th District been meeting at my house.  I took some Tylenol and some supplements and by the end of the meeting it was a little better.  I did sit on a heating pad for bed time.

I decided to stay home tonight from the gym to give the legs a rest but I definitely will be at the gym for most of the morning tomorrow.  For the early morning class and the cardio for a little bit and then for Trainer Pat Paulson’s last Foundation class.  He is moving on to another job…smaller gym I heard.

The weather this week has started off in the teens and hasn’t gotten any warmer than the 40’s.  It has been sunny and we had a spring like day yesterday.  It’s not supposed to be that way tomorrow.  Rain and wind is expected.

Well it’s time for the kittens and I to go to bed.

GEtting closer

It is now two days out until we move to the new office.  I managed to take a few of the boxes home yesterday and have one more that will go with me this afternoon.   But that won’t be for a few hours yet.   I will do more scanning first and it will be the last day doing it by myself as I expect AC to return tomorrow.  If I don’t finish any of the batches by Friday I need to bring them back to the rest of them so they can be transported together.  I will also be doing the mail.

I told Supervisor that SR was suggesting that with all the problems that went on that I should be the one to do the mail and not let shadow do it.  He said she can’t dictate to you what should be done.   Are they going to take work away from the person?  What hi she going to do?   I also pled with him to let SR say something to him.  No one said anything about moving my second desk to a different location than in front of the CFO's office.  I suggested that maybe she just said that to shut me up about my promise to curb the chatting.

This morning I will be doing a couple of things.  First I will get some things done around here.    I was going to go to the gym but now I don’t think I will have time.   I wanted to go this morning but I fell asleep for an hour.  I told Alex about Sunday’s dinner and he didn’t like the choice of sauce I had for dinner (garlic BUTTER).  I was thinking it would be better choice than the rest of the sauces.  He was not thrilled that I didn’t come at all to the gym Sunday.

The second thing is I will be at the Government center to sign some papers for the Registrar to be voted in at the Caucus tonight. My friend was very helpful and promised that she and another friend/coworker would be there to help.   It should take no more than hour to have it done and I can be on my way to work.

Last Day of Vacation

Considering that today is my last day of vacation.   I am going to make sure things that were not done (housework mostly) are done...
