2 Extra Large Coffees night

I decided to get two extra-large coffees from DD so that I can stay up as long as I can to accomplish something other than putting food in my gut. As soon as NCIS is over I have some letters to attend to.  I hope to work on it as long as possible.  As it is I had to block a guy who contacted me at least three times today.

I decided to call Sis late this afternoon since I hadn’t heard from her all day not even by text. I had a feeling she was pissed at me for something.  However that wasn’t the case.  She had been working on her insurance project today and yesterday.  She was also getting ready for an online meeting.

I was very unsuccessful at getting a hold of the Infusion center for the Corvid19 prescreening questions they are supposed to ask before my arrival.  Well I guess they will have to ask them at the door. My infusion is from 8 to 10.  I am debating whether or not to take my laptop to work on the letters and to do the crossword puzzles while I am getting my infusion. 

There have been many unity rallies around the state.  There were rallies in West Hartford, New Britain and in Fairfield.   There haven’t been any in Milford but I would imagine it will be sometime soon.  No violent ones at least.  There was a great one in NJ that apparently went viral.  After a procession everyone did a dance and it included everyone including the police that were there for crowd control.

Well I have been multitasking too much so I think I better hit the sack….good night.

 

I slept in

Today I managed to sleep in for a Sunday morning.  I usually get up by 5:30 but today I got up at 6.  Of course the morning routine was the same.  I am just having some tea right now and then do some writing again. 

The writing.  I managed to get one letter written yesterday.  It took me most of the day.  Its two pages.  I did also watch TV, and do some sleeping as well.  I also was grazing. 

I finally had some dinner around 5 it was pizza and it may have been too much as I was not feeling well for the rest of the night. This morning after having some tea I ended up getting sick to my stomach.

Despite the fact I wasn’t feeling well I did sleep pretty well.  The kitties were curled up with each other at my feet and then did their night time ritual. Getting up and walking the house and then coming back to bed for a bit.

Sky has been watching the birds outside the window and he is making noises and getting frustrated he can’t get to the birds.

If he knew how cold it was outside he wouldn’t want to be out there.  It’s in the 30s and cloudy.

Pajama Day

It is just a little before 11 and I am still in my jammies.  I got up just before 6 and fed the cats and then fell back to sleep on the couch for an hour.  My original plan was to get out early and go to church but now I will be going at 4:30.  I am not skipping it no way no how.

Been surfing the net, and finishing last night’s entry and posting it. I got tired.  Updated my checkbook, answered some emails, and called the nursing home to tell them I wasn’t coming in today.

I started looking at some outfits on Blair.com and saw a couple I wanted Liz’s opinion so I called her but alas she wasn’t feeling and out cold.  So I told (more like agreed) she could call me much later.  I have been trying really hard to honor her request on not calling daily and have been doing pretty well.   Actually now that I think of it she hasn’t called since our financial hour last week.  I guess I don’t have to feel guilty about calling her than. Right?

One of the emails I got was from Mama Roberta.  It would seem the Storm formerly Hurricane Matthew hit sometime late yesterday and caused a water main break in the area and now have no water.  Not sure how long it will be before it is repaired.

I actually need to start planning for the cooking session.  I am planning on making meatloaf and beef patties with chicken and turkey.  I found the recipe I used last year so I just need a couple of things.  I may have to do it tomorrow.

While I was writing up the minutes from the woman’s club meeting I received the newsletter from Dr. T.  There was a time change for the bracelet sale at Stop and Shop for the 16^th.   That’s good. 

I had one of the simple health choice meals and its doing nothing for me.  I decided to make a grilled cheese sandwich and it was okay.  This will have to suffice until dinner time.

The rest of the time I worked on the letter to Tricia in VA, watched TV, and did some laundry.  Late in the day I had mini pizza. 

Frustrating moments

Among the many things I was trying to do today was to activate my new Credit union debit card and I think I tried three times and had to take a break from it. I will try again later when I am a little focused.  The other was to gain access to the credit Card site.  Still not there yet.  When I run into roadblocks of any kind I need to step away and breath and regain thoughts and refocus.  I will try again later and be victorious.

I made lamb chops for lunch.  I didn't realize there was four in them so I cooked them all.  I probably could have put the other two away.  I reasoned they were small in size and would be filling.  Not necessarily the truth. I also couldn't choose vegetables.  I ended up cooking them up in a skillet w/olive oil and it splattered and I now have a burn.  I had some chips and salsa.

Now I have to think about dinner.  Not for at least a few hours.  I think I may make spaghetti.  I don't want to order out been doing that way too much this week.

The kitties had been sleeping for a while and got up around 4 and I think went back again.  I know Sky was in the office chair and Tiger was on the bed. 

I talked with Liz late this afternoon.  She had quite the day between doing some chores, going to an early morning meeting and then having the grandkids (Fairfield, Killingworth) over for lunch with one or both of the sets of parents.  When we hung up she was going to take a nap.

I ended up having mini-pizzas for dinner and that's it for tonight.

I think I better get on the heating pad again.  The neck and head or starting to ache again.

The Storm has passed

Well I guess we are not going to be getting any major problems with the storm.  Just a lot of clouds for today and tonight.  According to the weather page its partly cloudy all I see is sun.  Its 51 degrees out but its 65 in the house so I am not turning up the heat unless the temperatures drop radically.  I guess we are supposed to get into the 70’s in the middle of the week and then back down to mid-60.  No actual rain but maybe clouds.

I am guessing other states were not so lucky.  The beginning of the weekend the news had videos of flooding and damage in many communities.  Not sure how long recovery will be for them.

Throughout the weekend I heard from Jim via text and phone.  We were keeping tabs on each other with the storm.  We did fine.  He shared pictures of his cat either playing or hiding from the storm.  Not unlike my own babes.  He mentioned that the salt water came up to the house.  The only time I remember that happening was Hurricane Sandy.

The rest of Saturday I made steak, and sandwich and watched TV and put away clothes and updates some files.  Today I managed to put a very small load of laundry in and write a letter to one pen pal. 

Sky has been meowing almost nonstop.  I wish I could tell what he was meowing about.  I sometimes get the feeling he is in some kind of pain but he looks fine.  I let them both go downstairs for a short time.  I gave them the remaining Blue Buffalo chicken and they just didn’t seem to like it.

I am trying to get the gumption to do some cooking but I don’t want to right now.  I am thinking of just making the wings with breading and see how that works.  I have some other stuff that really needs to be put in the freezer and the stuff that’s been there needs to go.

I best get going I am going to do a few more things before getting ready for bingo.  I am hoping to go see Liz and Nelson before I come back home.  It should be another quiet night before going to bed.

Saturday Doings

Since it is a rainy Saturday it is and has been a quiet and low key day.  I managed to stay in bed until six.  When Sky was very persistent in getting me up.

Since I have been up I fed the cats, watched TV, had some pizza (the rest actually) and did some laundry and hung up the stuff that was sitting here on the couch for a few days.  Working on some files too.

The groceries were delivered and put away and I had the Greek Oikos yogurt and it’s pretty good.  I think I will get these again.  I have some ideas at what I will be having for dinner too.

I have to say overall I am feeling better than last night.  My hand took some time stop hurting.  If I used it the wrong way or turned it the wrong way it would hurt.  The pain has subsided now.

The afternoon will be working on files and letters and finishing the laundry and hanging stuff up.

It is getting warmer

It is about 82 degrees and I could feel it...I opened some windows. At least there is a breeze.  I am still not going out there though.

The kitties are enjoying their day.  After they came out of my old bedroom they went downstairs for awhile.  It amazes me that I didn't notice them until I saw them sitting on the cellar stairs.  I think Tiger is there now and Sky was doing this:

Good news the TV in the living room is working normally again.  It must have not been plugged all the way.  I have the music channels on right now.  They are called Music Choice Channels.  I guess Optimum customers have it.  There doesn't seem to be any videos just music.

I finished one letter to Claudia in AZ but I just have to print it out and mail it. I have a few other letters I need to finish as well.

I talked with Liz this morning.  She has been busy with Double the Nelsons.  Nelson #1 is adjusting to being home but got a visit from Nelson #3.  We touched on the phone call from the Cardiologist.  She figured we were invited to meet with him on Tuesday.  Only if we have questions...and of course we do.

I haven't talked my brother yet.  He went to a Jefferson Starship/Plane concert last night.  I wanted to let him know what the cardiologist said.  I guess there is plenty of time for that.

I am going to go watch Star Trek:TNG Season two.

Dear Friends

     It is after 8 and it is still snowing.  There was indeed a lull in the snow fall earlier today and Mom took the opportunity to go out and do a few errands.  While she did that I managed to shovel the sidewalks.  A lot of good that was considering its all covered again.  I will have to do it again tomorrow.

    Other than laundry, the sidewalks, and attempted to help with dinner I haven’t done much.    I did start letter to the kids but haven’t gotten far.  Mom took a nap this afternoon after she took some antihistamine.    Now I think she is watching TV or the TV is watching her.

    As most of you have noticed today was the 1 year anniversary of the Newtown Shooting.  Many places around the country marked in many different ways.    As we remember that tragic day a horrible and deadly replay happened  in Colorado yesterday.  My heart and prayers go out to those families who were subjected to this horrible event.

I hope it wasn’t any where near my friends and family that live in Colorado.  I would get really worried.  Well in Kristina’s case she is 108 miles from it while Miriam is about 40 minutes north of the town.

    I managed to get two of the emails this weekend to the kids  I am probably going to wait to get Kristina’s out tomorrow.  I need to go to bed.

Dear Friends

Dear Friends:

What a day.  I had a wonderful sleep and got up for ironing, surfing, and getting out on time for work.  The morning went well until I went to the bank.  I had forgotten to take my id with me and so I couldn’t get money out for the dinner.  Happily MS is giving me until Monday to get.  She knows I want to go to the dinner next week.  Joel B stopped by later in the day to find out if was resolved.  I have a feeling she had something to do with it.

The rest of the day was fine.  I managed to get the daily stuff done at a fairly decent time and worked on re-address mail.  I didn’t get as much as i would have liked but I have a feeling I will on Monday as its a holiday.

I had lunch with Mama Dottie today. It was fun.  We talked about the holidays, work, and family stuff.  We hadn’t done this in a long while and it was great not having to do it in the office.  

Speaking of the holidays our team is now getting ready for our annual Team holiday and it looks like we are having our luncheon at Tre Scalini in New Haven.  It will be on the 19th.  From 12-2.  I have to look over the menu and see what I want.  It will be right before the recess.

The drive home wasn’t bad.  The sky was beautiful again.   There were dark clouds and you would have thought it would start to rain but it didn’t.  It is supposed to be very windy for part of the weekend so I am pretty glad to be home.

Mom has literary club tonight so she was bringing pork roast.  Maureen M was picking her up around 6:30 and they should be back around 10.  

Oh I heard from Kristina.   I was so pleased.  She has been in Colorado for five days.  She had to take some physical test and did very well.  She has a really nice apartment and room and is expecting her roommates soon.  She was the first to arrive so she is a little bored because she has no TV.  I replied to her tonight.  It is about two pages long.  

I will be writing her brother James and Emily a little later and see how they are doing.  James didn’t write me this week and I am not sure why.  I haven’t heard from Emily since I started writing the letters so I am not bothered by that.  

I am doing laundry tonight so I need to go move them around.

Its a good thing

It’s a good thing I am taking the time to go through some emails.  I found some that needed to be addressed.  For example my neighbor Sylvia responded to the Blizzard survey that I sent out and wanted me to pass along to our neighbors the email she sent to the borough in regards to the recent storm.  Apparently someone complained that her sidewalk wasn’t cleared off to borough regulations.  She also was annoyed she hadn’t been getting the emails (well that’s the impression I am getting).    I talked about it with Mom she feels that our neighbor is being negative.  Mom also believes that we shouldn’t complain because this storm was unusual. 

Anyway, I emailed Sylvia BCC my other two neighbors and relating the fact that many others may not have gotten borough emails because they are not signed up to the emailing list.   I can’t even remember when I signed up or how I signed up.   I did point out that now that the borough is on both Facebook and Twitter combined they will be posting messages of updates about the borough.

Sylvia hasn’t responded to me yet.  As I told Mom I don’t think our surrounding neighbors did any reporting but I wouldn’t be surprised if anyone else didn’t.  Maybe the police noticed it and said something.    I did just talk to Don next door about it.  He thought it was funny but that he didn’t report her but he understands the logic of complaining or reporting.

We will see what happens with this little neighborhood drama.  It is always something whether it a domestic disturbance, the sewer project, or whatever.

I took a ride into New Haven right before lunch.  I had gotten some email notifications that the cookie and cookie dough orders needed to be paid.  So I went in and did that and took some time to visit with the gang.  They all shook their heads when they saw me.  I explained I had some cookie business to take care of. 

When I left I stopped at the fish truck outside and got a lobster roll.   I ate it while in the garage.  Yeah I had to park in the garage for $4.  I was home sometime after 1. 

The weather is cold and windy.  As I am writing this the rain is coming down hard again.  The wind hasn’t died down at all today.  We did have a sun shower earlier but that for a very short time.  They are saying we are still supposed to get snow but who knows when or how much.

I see I got an email from a friend I hear from now and then.  She was one of my pen pals when I was in pen paling.  This one was brief.  I think I gave her an update last month or so.  I know I haven’t heard from her since the holidays I think.  I need to get a reply written to her.

Mom is getting dinner ready it is going to be chicken and pirogues.  She had her meeting in Hartford this morning and was home before I left for New Haven.  She has been working on the computer writing and reading and doing odds and ends.  Around 3 she got into her pajamas.  She wasn’t feeling well but she seems to be okay now.

I talked with my sister earlier today she was on her way out for the afternoon.  Her babysitting gig (Nelson 3) was over either yesterday or this morning.  He gets to be home when his little sister comes home.  She did invite me to the movies tentatively for tonight.  I am just waiting for her to call me.

Well I better go and write Jeanne.  I will check in later before the night is out.

Plans changed

I got up around 7. Spent time online and then got ready to feed Junior and see the pups next door. The weather was so different then last night. It was much cooler and of course brighter. Mom was reading the paper when I came down. She saved the obituary for Mr. Oliver.

I left shortly after 8 to feed kitty and have some cookies. Apparently I left them out and some of them were stale. I made sure I put them away before I left. At least I think I did. After cleaning out the litter box and feeding the kitty I had a visit from missy who was waiting at the door for me. I could hear Junior meowing. I looked and there she was. I spent time with the dogs and then headed out to Mediplex.

Since it was really very early for me to go to Mediplex I stopped at the Dunkin Doughnuts and got some hot chocolate and a doughnut. I drove to Mediplex and turned on the lights and started getting stuff out. Then Mr. Merly told me there was no bingo. I looked at the calendar and he was right. This was a little annoying but I hung out and watch TV until Natalie came. It was decided I would help get the residents down. I sat and watched TV with the residents and gave them coffee. I also talked with Phil in the kitchen. After the residents were brought down I left. I asked if I needed to hang around. I really needed to get back here. I explained my plans and then took off.

I dropped off the envelopes to Telka’s house came home and read the paper a little bit. Around 11:30 I went to Mass at St Agnes. There was a lot of activity on the church grounds. They were setting up for their annual End of Summer picnic.

When I got home from church Mom was upstairs in her office and starting to clean out stuff. She reminded me to continue to do mine. It was annoying and a little frustrating.

I did manage to get rid of some papers and deleted a bunch of documents. From the different files I have. I didn’t go into great detail with them. I can’t do that with the political ones or the schools or the GFWC.

Liz sent an invitation to the End of Summer party that’s being held at their house on the 20th. I will be making some cakes and stuff like that. I get the feeling that they are trying to catch me in a lie as though I didn’t really bake the cake the first time and how good it was. IF that’s the case I will tell them off.

Well Mom just got some good news. Our friend Mary is out of the Nursing home and back home to recuperate. She came home Friday and has a visiting nurse that comes in and someone to cook and look after her.

Well it is getting late and I am tired. My arm is starting to ache so I am going to take some stuff for it.

This weekend

Well Friday night is now turning into a blur. We had pizza for dinner and it rained a little that night.

Saturday I got ready for the reception. I did some ironing and some laundry and went card shopping for birthdays and get well cards. We got there a little after 2 and we sat with Bob and Liz, and Nelson and Chris and Rich. Ethel was home sick with a migraine. THose really suck. We had a good time. The food was a bit of disappointment to Mom and Liz. I enjoyed it. I even ran into some high school classmates of mine who knew the heberts. We got home by 6 or so.

Sunday I went to bingo, church, and to the store to get a gift for Emily. I had put a call into Claudia to see what I could get her and she called back on Saturday with a list. I decided to get a gift card. I did some letter writing. I got one letter written just need to print out and mail it. Mom made me a peach cake and we had hamburgers for dinner. Liz and Nel came over and gave me a pair of earrings.

Uncle Ray is coming along but still in the hospital. MOm has gotten updates through out the weekend. I will be mailing a card to him tomorrow.

Not as Hot as Yesterday

Well the humidity has dropped considerably and it is very nice out. As I was telling one of my co-workers a short time ago that I was really expecting it to rain last night because the breeze/wind was really blowing hard last night. Well maybe this afternoon it will.

Well I woke up around 5 but stayed in bed until 6 and ironed my clothes, watched TV, and got online for a short time. Then I got the rest of the garbage out as I was leaving. Mom got up for a bathroom run but she went back to bed. When I called her later on in the morning she said she didn’t fall asleep until 4 this morning.

I wrote the PA kids this morning. It was a two page letter and I figured it was easier to cut and paste their names.

Well I have been home since before 4:30. Mom was still with the “Knitwits”. She didn’t get home until after 5. She says they didn’t leave the restaurant until 4 and of course traffic was bad (actually it was heavy summer traffic) on I-95.


I watched Charmed and had Gnocchi and potato salad for dinner. When Mom came home she checked her messages and went out to the pharmacy. She had a couple of doctors call her. One was the allergist. He thinks she may have an allergy of some sort. I don’t know what the Urologist wanted but I will ask when she gets back.

I decided to call Bob and thank him for the picnic and I had a great time. He is just busy doing stuff. He is starting to read up on Buddhism. When I heard that I thought perhaps he and Jim had been talking about the Dali Lama’s visit to Bethlehem PA next.

Well it is now after 9 pm. I have been splitting my time between TV watching and writing to my friend Molly in Texas. I think now I just will go to sleep. I am really tired.

Mom got home probably after 6 and I was teasing her about going to Costco Headquarters to get the pharmacy stuff. She went to Talbots and I asked when did they institute pharmaceutical stuff? Yeah I know it was lame.

Well it is late and I am going to go to bed….

Saturday

Hey all it is after 11 in the morning. It is a beautiful day here and it was 57 I imagine it is closer to 60 and by the end of the day it will closer to 70 degrees. I have opened the window to the bedroom to let in some fresh air.

I got my hair done but I am a little annoyed with the woman. First off she was running late and she forgot she had me at 10 am. I had to go back at 10:30. The next appointment is on May 31 but I am going to change it because of the wedding, and the awards ceremony.

When I got home Mom was still working in her office. She has been updating the address list for the invitee list for the ceremony. She said she had paper work to do.

I did some laundry and wrote more of my letter to Kelly and I read the two letters I got from Vicki Butler in Illinois and Shirley Burdett. I will be updating their files shortly.

Donny next door is putting up an antenna for Mom so that we don’t get so much static on the radio downstairs. Mom went out to get additional attachments. I don’t know if she really needs it. Mom keeps saying she doesn’t have the money for other stuff yet people keep insisting “oh you need this!”

Around 2 the temperature was up to 62 degrees. The window was opened for most of the day and it felt wonderful. I washed the comforters. They look better.

I had Good Friday Off

Good morning everyone. I hope you are all doing well. The sun is shining and as expected the wind is strong. I heard from Mardi this morning. I posted to her journal yesterday and asked her about the weather. I had asked her a more pertinent question then the weather but she said that she was expecting snow showers today.

It feels good to be home on a Friday instead of working. I do love my job (especially when things are going well) but I haven’t really had a vacation in quite some time. Yes I know I took that trip to PA but I was busy concentrating on driving. I do have to admit the drive was beautiful.

Anyway, I have got laundry going and now will be writing some letters and then going shopping later.

Well it is now several hours and I am here waiting on Rich and his plumber friend to come and check out the bathroom plumbing. Mom and I decided that perhaps it would be better in case he came earlier then what they agreed on the other day. I have been watching a little of the Whoopi Special on A&E. I have also been doing letters as well.

Early Morning

It is 10 of 7 and I am not quite ready for work. I got up around 5:30 and showered. It was a quick shower as the water turned cold quickly. I laid across the bed for a bit after the shower and then when I realized it was after 6 I got up and got Mom up. I have been surfing the net and wrote a letter to Debra. I won’t mail it until the weekend though.

As I mentioned yesterday Mom has an early morning breakfast (I think she said it’s a legislative breakfast) to attend so I got her up after 6 and now she is in the shower. She will be leaving once she is all ready. She has the other meeting at dinner time so won’t be home for that.

I haven’t heard from the two ladies that I sent pen pal inquiries to but it is still early. I have their files all set up. I hope they answer. One is from Iowa and the other I think is from MA.

Well it is 7 am and I need to get going…

Hey everyone thought I would pop in. I decided to print out all the entries I have written for the past two weeks for the Current Events journal swap to Kyra. (Waving to Kyra). I hope this will be acceptable. There aren’t much of current events on it and as I haven’t written every day for this blog it’s only the way I should write for her.

I have been trying to use the Google search engine to find any current events and I found a few but not the ones I wanted to share for example. There is or was some controversy last week about the appointment of one Mr. Candido to the Police Commissioners board for Milford. He was denied but the reasons are kind of fuzzy and in some circles the ploy he used was to have the handicapped kids that he has worked with over the years spoke on his behalf was scorned. Some feel because his wife who was on the Aldermanic Board in town jumped ship (from one political party to the other) he is being turned down.

Anyway, I found two things out last night that I think would be of interest. One of them was Republican presidential Candidate John McCain’s Win in the Florida Primary. That article is on the next page that I got from the New Haven Register. The other also from New Haven Register is that the Foxwood’s Casino’s in Uncasville caught on fire.

Being raised a Democrat I obviously would have to go with the Democratic choice. At this point it is either Mrs. Clinton or Mr. Obama. I think McCain understands everything (the quality that was recently written in a NY Times article) but as Mom says has the “Republican way of thinking”.

Around 12:30 I called home to see what Mom was up to and how the legislative breakfast went. She said it went well. When I called she was pulling papers together for tonight’s meeting. She says she will be leaving around 5.

I am going to be in so much trouble. There were some minutes I was supposed to write up before tomorrow and they are not done. I had a week to do them. I will have to do it tonight.

I also have to answer some letters and do laundry and put the garbage out. I just called the Beth El Shelter and left a message for the Soup Kitchen Director/manager. I hope he calls me back.

I made an appointment for the Hygienist today. It is for February 27 at 3 pm that means I get to leave at 2:30 from here. J

Around 3 I started cleaning up from the day. I still had work to open but I wanted to make sure the patient correspondence was out and ready.

It is now after 11 and I am heading to bed. I am so tired. Tonight was a good night. I left the office exactly at 4 and managed to get home before 4:30. When I arrived I found the basket of pinecones on its side and the stuff all over the floor. That’s how windy it got today.

Mom was upstairs when I came in. I told her about the basket and then she showed me what to do about dinner. She was getting ready at 5 and leaving after that. I read my mail and watched TV. I am having a head time remembering exactly what I was doing at that point.

I had watched TV and gotten online. I had my dinner at 5 and afterwards got changed and started doing laundry. I called Liz to see what she was up to. She was planning her Grand Canyon trip. She was exhausted and she sounded it.

Over the next few hours I wrote my letter to Alice W in MD and finished it by 9. I tried working on the recipe journal I am supposed to be sending out but it didn’t get far.

Now I am going to bed…

Busy Monday again

Hey all it is just before midnight and I was heading to bed. Today was a very long day. I got to work at a good time but jumped right into work. I did make a few stops on the internet highway but managed to get stuff going.

I finished Friday’s mail and sorted it and delivered it as well as Thursday. I wasn’t able to open today’s lockbox but I did get the post office started. One of the reasons for that was because I had so much individual readdress mail to get delivered that I spent a good part of the day doing it. I was having a hard time concentrating on the bad addresses too.

I did manage to make calls for the club. I got a hold of the Beth El shelter and scheduled a dinner for February 7th but as I thought about it and when I got an email from Telka realized it wasn’t a good date. She suggested that I make it for March between the 13th and 20th. I will have to call him back tomorrow.

I am still waiting on the ARC person to call me back and set up the club to sponsor a blood drive. I hope she calls tomorrow.

I talked with Mom in the middle of the day. She was working on papers. She had Bridges meeting tonight at 6. She was home by 9:30 or so. Now she is watching Charlie Rose I think.

When I got home it was close to 4:30. Traffic was a little slow getting home but once I got off the highway it wasn’t a big deal.

I got a letter from my pal Laurie Bunch today. I managed to write her a 4 page letter tonight. That’s like the third time I have done that this week. She talked about her hobbies, her health, and why her letter was late to me.

Someone’s very graphic emails got on to one of the lists. I deleted it and reported it to yahoo.com. Lori T is rejoining lists and causing anxiety again. Some of the girls on Jodi’s lists are callig her a liar and stuff. They want to report her for scamming.

I got my credit card statements. I have more than I expected on the Union Plus. I really need to get rid of that one and fast.

Well that’s about the news for today.

The Dentist Appointment

I made it to the dentist office in pretty good time. I just had to review the paperwork on file and sign it. I went in saw the hygienist. They have a new “toy” in the shape of a new tooth cleaner. It uses water. Then I had an exam from Dr. Chris. I have to go in again on the 15th to fend off a small cavity. My next appointment is in July. It was after 5:30 when I left.

When I got home I checked the mail and started on Dinner. Mom had left me soup but didn’t want it. I threw some hot dogs in the micro and had them. Watched TV and made a couple of calls.

I have printed out the letters for Jennie. I hope she won’t mind if I bring them first thing in the morning. I just got to busy and tired this afternoon.
