  Good morning. Today is the last day of May, and I hope it will be much warmer than yesterday. I was so cold that I turned on the heat to warm up. So Yesterday I went to the lit drop activity and handed out the leaflets.   Then General response was positive.   There were some conversations that annoyed me.   But it was a huge consensus that the Presidents email should be included on the future literature. We finished early, and I headed home. I stopped at DiBella’s for dinner, then came home to eat and feed Sky. At one point, I went to see Don next door and nearly startled him, which was embarrassing. He had been cleaning out his property as some of the students moved out and was preparing for the next group. I also told him about the young man who came to the door a couple of weeks ago.   My plans for cooking and shopping changed completely when I discovered the main ingredients were still frozen.    I looked up to see if this stuff can be defrosted in the microwave and they can.   I probably should know this by now, but I don’t do a lot of constant cooking.   I will be leaving shortly for the store I have some family news.   My cousin Marianne announced on FB that her Potsdam NY is on the market as she moved back to CT to be closer to her family.   I think that’s great.   I don’t really know where she moved to as she still has two brothers in other states.   The other two and her sister live in Milford, and west haven.   I told Liz about it via text message last night. I'm frustrated—the meats and chicken are still frozen solid and might need two more days.   Sometime after lunch I got the results of my test.   I checked in before I got the email alerting me they were posted.   These and all medical tests never can be in layman’s terms.   The gist is I basically don’t have it.   As usual they caution you about still taking precautions and stuff like that. So I let Liz know, and the girls from the group know.   I hadn’t told J&J but I will another time.    Now the coffee visit with Liz is on for tomorrow.   So I did the grocery shopping this evening. I took the time to order more litter.   I tried to change the item to a different brand but I was doing something wrong.   I was rushing through it and it was aggravating me. Gillion just offered a Christmas/Holiday Movie night at her house in December.    It’s the first weekend of December.   Oh I wonder if I could bake something for that weekend.   It will be a week after Thanksgiving and I may have only the ...

    Well I got there before either my sister or niece.   Cheryl couldn't get to it from the directions on her GPS.   So I told them to come by quarry road.   They both eventually arrived.   Liz announced she woke up on the wrong side of the bed.   MY response was “again”?   The park is nice.   Well maintained.   There was a lawn care guy doing lawns.   I am not sure if it is part of the fees.   The visit wasn’t long, but we all noticed things that weren’t very good...The paneling around the porch was broken and had holes.   The shed had crap in it.   When we went in it was dark.   Only one bedroom was big, the other two could be offices or storage.   By the end of the visit Liz realized after hearing Cheryl’s views that this would be a bad idea.   I felt that from the beginning.    The second one we never saw because it was unavailable today but we are not going to see after all.   ...

Somehow my afternoon after 12 pm, whizzed by me. We did our normal routine at the beginning of the day and I fell back to sleep for a bit and then spent time on the laptop. I was surfing the net and chatting with a pen pal who was having a hard day.   Missy lost a dear friend of hers of 19 years to Corvid19 and it was difficult.   He did a lot of stuff for her and she was just sharing the things he did for her.   She shared news about her mom that I didn’t know and it was fairly tough. I went to the gym this morning and did the class.   We had it outside despite the clouds above.   We were just waiting for the rain to start it didn’t come until we were already gone. I never got the water bottle that I left there on Thursday.   I checked yesterday and again today and it wasn’t there.   I thought she found it for me.   Either she lied or someone threw it away.   It belonged to RH from the DTC.   I did manage to go to rite-Aid yeste...

The Memorial Day holiday was a fairly quiet but rainy day.   It actually rained on and off until late afternoon.   It stayed in the 60’s all day.   I did some odds and ends around the house and worked n some pen pal letters that I received during the night.   I had to deal with another moron that really felt entitled and told me I was being rude.   I continued to answer some emails that I received late in the day too. I did our normal morning routine as well.   I had to clean the table because one of the titans did a hairball.   They seemed okay the rest of the day.   Sky continued to watch the birds in the bush in the back yard and he was so funny. Mid-morning I went to Shoprite but before going in to shop I called Dave and we talked for an entire hour.   We discussed friendships and I found out a friend of ours lost her father the week before.   We talked about elementary school and life for preteens and then high school. I got a call just after 2 as I was walking into the dry cleaners from PBC letting me know that we do not have to report to work tomorrow or for the near future.   No mail is being delivered to the office and so we especially me don’t need to be there.   We will be paid, and we don’t have to use any of our time.   So I posted to Union steward organizer that I had gotten word and one of my coworkers pitched a fit that not everyone got that same info.   Late in the day I said not my fault.   I had gotten a phone call from supervisor bob.   Didn’t recognize his voice (I was on a walk).   He said do not report to work tomorrow and would contact me if anything changes.   Well After I got back from the walk he had sent an email and told everyone not to come in.   Even those who were told to come are not supposed to.    The University closed us.   Although I am getting the impression again that wasn’t told to everyone in YM as there ...

Today is the last full day of my work week.  Tomorrow I have a half day due to my infusion.  So I am hoping I will get a lot done.  Between AC and I think we are all caught up with the daily scanning for a few days. It was a stormy start to the day as a rain shower/electrical storm passed through the area.  Luckily I came prepared (although the umbrella maybe useless).   Starting to get conflicting reports for the entire day.  It turned out to be raining on and off. To all of you have a blessed Father’s Day.  It will be a fairly quiet one here.  My Father has been gone over 30 years.  My brother B has been gone nearly seven years now.  My Brother J is in Allentown.  I spoke to him via text.  He has some plans but not alot.  Not sure what BIL is doing probably quiet as well. Yesterday nearly killed me.  I had two exercise classes and did pretty well.  I like the renovations.  I also like our exercise classes are now in a separate area (as well as the personal training sessions) because you can’t be distracted except by myself.  It made me tired for the rest of the day.  Not tired enough to stop me from a walk.  It was just over two miles and maybe over an hour.  I went around 4 after chatting with a few of the neighbors.  It was about 75 degrees at one point.  When I got home from it I was really tired by then.  Nearly fell asleep on the couch. The sun was playing hide and seek with the world today (at least this part of the world).  It was predicting clouds for the  afternoon.  I am still not sure what will happen tomorrow for the hike.  I will see what it's like in the morning and what messages we get from Jan as well. I don’t know when it started to rain last night.  I think it was fine when I left the office and headed to Chipotle's restaurant for dinner.  Then to my session with Debra.  As the night progressed the thunder and lightning came.  We had gone to bed semi early because I didn’t see anything on TV.  The kitties were with me for a while until the thunder got loud.  Sky left and I am thinking he went under the bed.  Tiger stayed with me for a while but not sure where she went to for the night.  For all I know they may have curled up next to the wardrobe in the spare room where I found them before I left for the gym. Good Morning and Blessings to everyone on this most joyous day.  This morning will be semi quiet for me but later today I will be heading to my Sister’s first for coffee and social (they are having dinner around 1) and then to the nursing home for my bingo session with the group.  I got this schedule earlier this month when I contacted N to confirm my schedule.  I have already let Sis know that this was going to be in place before I left for home from LV. Liz invited me yesterday via text.  So I accepted with the codicil that we move it to 12 for coffee.   This morning hasn’t been all that different then any other Sundays.  I got up at my regular 5:30 and did the normal routine.  The kitties ate and I went back to sleep for a bit.  Since then the kitties have disappeared in the house. I suspect they are still in the cellar (since I opened the door to let them down) and haven’t come back up even when I called them. Well I stand corrected. ...

I never made it to the store yesterday.  I tried to shop on Wal*Mart online nearly ordered $125 of groceries.  Unfortunately the only two places that you can order groceries are in Naugatuck and New Haven.  Neither is convenient for me.  They don’t deliver to my area and I would have to drive 46 minutes to get to naugatuck and 18 minutes to the New Haven Location.Of course both S&S and Shoprite are both pretty much 12 minutes from here .  I know that when the Big Y comes to town n the other side of town it won’t be convenient either unless I was there for something.  How far would you travel to get groceries?  Oh and the local ADams (IGA) is expensive and I am not liking the reviews.    Why am I looking at other options?  Stop and Shop is in their ninth day of a strike.  IT's been on the news daily.  Social Media members all have their views on it.  Some are for the strike and some do not understand it.  They ...

For most of yesterday afternoon I believed the peapod was coming this  afternoon.  Until it showed up at my door yesterday at 4.  So there I am letting the guy in and signing for it and then emptying it all.  I got most everything except the pork loin.  I will have to order in the next order next week. While I was putting everything away I realized I still had an eggplant to cook.  It still looks good but now i need to cook it like tomorrow.  I also realized I need other ingredients for the ribs.  Or I can make the bbq sauce the recipe calls for either way i probably will need to get more ingredients. Not only for that but for the cranberry banana bread...Bananas all gone.  They are too mushy and fell on to the floor. So after the walk I will be cooking.  Like I said the eggplant will be first and then perhaps the chicken and the fish.  I may have to freeze the fish.  Oh I found out that Alice G and I are leading the wal...
