It is after midnight and I haven’t been to bed. Mom went before midnight but didn’t say anything figuring I had already gone. I am hoping to go soon. In the mean time I went online and checked some emails through the webmail and went on Facebook. I also watched a little bit of TV and watched a few movies that were on last night. They were either ghost type related or Horror movies. “Gladiator” was on TNT. Kevin Sorbo is really starting to piss me off. He has been (within his right) posting really politically based postings on Facebook and he really is starting to annoy me with it. I don’t agree because I am a democrat and I believe in the Democratic Party and their beliefs. Hey afternoon everyone! It is after 5 and sunny and 72 degrees out. It has been a beautiful day and also a clear indication summer is waning down to fall. Right now I am surfing the net and catching up with some NCIS forums . (Probably causing some trouble to boot) and kvetching about it here . Mom is at the literary club kickoff party and will be home probably about 7. She was busy cooking the rest of her stuff that she brought when I got home from church today. I suspect the schedule they will have will be like the one they had last year. Instead of monthly it will be every other month. I suspect it will be in October then perhaps December, February, April and the final one in May for the summer. I have no idea what books they have planned but I bet Mom told me and I forgot already. Wow it has been a week since I last wrote (maybe more depending where I posted recently). It was sort of a hectic week and some what tense moments between Mom and I but I think they may have worked it out. Well that’s what I thought by Friday but I was wrong. Mom was still annoyed with me from the early events of the week. (I may not have gone into great detail in my last entry here . On Friday was the baby shower for my co-worker Martrese S. She made out like a bandit and was totally touched by everyone’s participation. There were the cutest clothes for the baby. There was cake and appetizers. I had to cancel my hair appointment for Saturday as I discovered I would be working that morning. It was moved to this coming Saturday (8/28) for 10 am. Saturday was a busy day. Good Morning everyone, it is after 10:30 and I am at work. Things are moving along. I am just waiting for the campus mail run to come through for any stragglers of post office mail. I stopped at Dunkin Doughnuts this morning for an extra large White Hot Chocolate (or is it Hot White Chocolate?). I thought by the middle of the morning I would be very hyper with instead I was more tired. I did have more coffee not sure if has effected me or not. I guess I will be able to notice when I try to sleep tonight. I called Liz and Nelson today they were sleeping. Liz doesn’t seem to be feeling well today. Good morning. It is after 9:30 midweek and I am trying to open yesterday’s mail by 10. I have had a rather uncomfortable night. Both my knees were killing me for most of the night. I had to get up during the night and put Ben-gay® and ibuprofen. One of the knees was better the other one still has a minor ‘thud’. Good Morning everyone it is just quarter of ten and I am opening today’s lockbox. It is very light which is good. I wonder if that means today’s Post office mail is going to be light as well or the opposite. I guess it depends on the weather as well. The snow that is predicted for today might start soon (I hope not) or it may start later…I am hoping it won’t start until after I do some shopping. Today had a minor rough start. I woke up around 3 and didn’t fall back to sleep until 5 and then got up after 6 to empty garbage and get ready for work. Mom was up when I left. She complimented me on my clothes which made me feel very good. After I said goodbye I headed to work. The traffic and drive wasn’t bad at all. I got to the office with no problem. It was very cold and I walked in with Mary Numa. We talked about the weather and her vacation. Man I wish I could go on vacation. She urged me to go. I got in to my immediate office and started my day. I got my hot chocolate and then the charts came. That’s when it hit the fan. I couldn’t find the keys to open the box. I realized (read I had hoped) that I left them at home. I told Patti about it and then went home. Mom asked me what was going on and I explained the situation. I didn’t get on line much last night. I was rather in a hyper state. Mom was telling me that Liz got different numbers than what I had. That she got them from CT Post and it just aggravated me because neither of them thinks they are ever wrong or that I don’t know what I am saying. At one point a sound bite of Judge Judy was on and one of the litigants mouthed off to her. We had dinner of lamb sandwiches which were delicious. It was Delicious and simple because there wasn’t much to do. Mom also made a cake she used to make when we were younger. She found the recipe in the NY Times Recipe section. Yesterday was a big day in Connecticut. IF any of you caught the news you know that this year’s Tree in Rockefeller Center is coming from a home in Shelton CT. I thought it was from Jones tree farm. It isn’t. It is near a country club but not on the country club. The tree is on a large family home. My co-worker Jeri lives down the street from it. Hey everyone! It is almost lunch time here and people are glad it’s Friday. They are in pretty good spirits now. This morning all of us were slightly tired. It was much cooler then yesterday. I drove by the New Haven Register building in New Haven and the temperature monitor read 42 degrees. It is now 51 both here and in Milford. Not many people participated in the dress down day for United Way. I guess they wanted to be able to not have to pay for it. I didn’t participate because I don’t think I had any pants ready. I also didn’t want to pay for it either. Well the count down to Bettie Stanton’s Retirement day has begun. Her last day is November 30, 2007. Well it is nearly 10 in the morning and I am sweating bullets. I suspect it is the Daytime cold medicine that is doing it. My throat doesn’t seem to be hurting as much which is a good thing. I slept pretty well until 4. I got up to do a bathroom run and then went back to bed until 6:30. The recycle truck came through pretty early this morning. I got ready for work and got online for a few minutes before leaving. Liz sent some pictures last night and I couldn’t access them and they were adorable. The only thing is I would have to pay for them from there and I don’t want to use the credit card. I am going to have to ask her to either make some hard copies or send me them via email. I just checked the bank and my union plus and the deposit to the Credit Union have been posted. I can now get rid of the Union plus statement. It is almost 1:30 Wednesday afternoon and I am finishing up the Medical Records requisition list. Everything is just about done. I have to sort today’s EOB’s and do the bad addresses and the bulk mail. I finally heard from Sandi today. I had asked her some time last week to email me at my Iwon.com account because I wanted to share some of the emails I had received from the two ladies from the SF-Fandom. As I was forwarding them to her I couldn’t help but get the uneasy feeling that perhaps I may have unknowingly caused her to lose one of her journal/blog sites. Could it be possible that sending the link to these two women may have been wrong? Did they show it to Stripe and Michael despite their objections to the way it has been run? Only time will tell. When I first read it I was a bit resentful that she would write and tell someone I brought the negative side out of her. I know that I upset her on her forum. Well it is 9:20 and I have been here since 8. I have had a pretty good morning so far. I got up around 6:15 and got ready for work. I did an update for the computer this morning. I sent an email to Shari letting her know the letter is on its way. The drive into work was uneventful and that’s okay by me. I parked on the top level of the Temple Garage and was a little concerned when I didn’t see any other cars up there. I figured with all the construction work for Gateway Community College being done that it wasn’t such a hot idea. When I don't sleep I end up watching TV and reading emails that make my blood boil. For example this girl asked if group owners and moderators can report people for leaving their group. My response was if you don't full fill swaps they can and I added that I think it is childish. Well later on in the day I am guessing "Anthony" responded to me saying that it isn't childish if you get burned. She went through the whole reasoning for it. After watching TV for an hour I came back and posted that it is childish because its no one else's business. Then I read an email from Sandi. It seems she heard from MM who owns the SF-FANDOM board. I have been up a while now. Answering some emails from Lisa F in TN. I am on July 11 emails. This is really going to be a long time. I don't know if I can do it. I have already started my laundry and emptied the Dehumidifier which has become my permenent job when I am home. Mom usually empties it a couple of times when I am not here. WE usually empty it into the washing machine in the cellar and use that water to wash the clothes with. Since I had put the laundry in it (and it was already full) i emptied it into the sink upstairs. I received a couple of messages from Rhonda yesterday. It is mid afternoon. I have been on line for a while answering some emails, reading some forums, and plain just getting annoyed at stupid people. Kevin Sorbo’s movie Avenging Angel is on tonight. All week long people have been spotting the promos for it and articles. Everyone at this forum is saying it is being promoted very well. I beg to differ. It hasn’t been promoted very well here. I can count on my hand how many times I have seen promos or ads for it. There has been One TV promo. That was this morning and it was on the History Channel. There has been one article that I have seen and again that was this morning. I have strong suspicion that my cable company would insert ads at different times for local stuff. I don’t consider this good promotion. This is Themis' rebuke . She thinks she is the freaking expert on PR and the Sorbo fandom because she was in a major PR firm 15 years ago. Over the last couple of days members of the SF-Fandom Baord for Kevin Sorbo wanted to do something special for the president of his OAKSFC. They were from Australia and the international group. Well Rayhana once again as in the past made some very obnoxious and blunt comments to make sure that others *such as * one member who is a staff member and has some serious health issues also be considered for an opportunity (who wouldn’t be able to otherwise) to get to meet Kevin Sorbo. The following is my response to Rhonda when she was making excuses for Rayhana's behavior today. It is quarter after 8 and I am tired. That seems to be a theme this week. I am going to get some sleep since I am taking Mom to the limo tomorrow.
