Dear Mom,     It is the end of the day and I am tired and will be heading to bed soon.  Despite my best efforts I tried to get up at 5:30 but I had been awake since 4 and decided to stay in bed longer.  So by 6 I was up showered, and dressed and managed to get a little Computer time and TV in before leaving after 7 for work.  ON the way to work I stopped at Dunkin for some coffee and not so healthy breakfast.       The drive in wasn’t bad.  The early morning clouds almost looked like mountain tops or hill tops but there aren’t any really mountain tops in the New Haven area if you don’t count East Rock, West Rock or Sleeping Giant.  You can’t see any of those from West Haven actually   Let’s just say at that time of the morning my imagination was running away abit.     I got to the office at a decent time and walked in w/Janet until she had to get her coffee.  We talked about the weekend and ...

Last night was family night.  I had been checking messages on facebook and found one from a cousin on  my Dad’s side.  She was sending me her address.  Then I got a message from an old friend of Bob’s that was sending condolences. I sent a message to my nephew Rob (and ironically no response yet).  Then just about dinner time Liz sent me a text to my email account informing me she was in the hospital with pneumonia.   Then Ethel comes over for impromptu dinner and then we get phone calls from two of the Coulombe cousins.  I also had gotten emails from Lisa R asking  if we are still attending the little guy's birthday.  She wanted to know about Chris and his kids I couldn't answer.   Earlier this afternoon I had called Mom for a second time and got an update.  Liz has been put into isolation and can’t have visitors.  Mom’s annoyed as she feels Liz should have been to the doctor’s sooner than this.  It was...

Well it is after 6:30 and I have been home since 5. I have had dinner and will be getting ready for tomorrow. I really should have been paying attention to the work today. I did the work but it is not completely done. I have to still open today’s lockbox and sort it. Through out the day I spent time on line and ate a lot of candy. By the end of the day my attention span was non existent and I had to push myself. Gayle caught me chatting with someone at least 8 times. I didn’t leave the office until 4:30 or so. I made sure I called Debra around 3 because I wasn’t feeling that well. My knee was hurting and I had a headache. I will have to make it up to her very soon. I really got annoyed with some ding bat who posted to the snail-mail-pals list yesterday in a very obnoxious threatening way about getting invites to groups. She threatened the entire group saying she would report anyone and make sure they won’t be able to create groups ever again. Well several people including m...
