Dear Debra:
Good Morning and Happy New Year’s Day! I am just sitting here before I take off for Dave’s Open House. I am not sure how long I am staying at Dave’s as Nancy’s Daughter is coming home today from her boyfriends and will be taking over the care of the brood here. She said around mid to late afternoon. Usually in the past I have made sure things were in order and this time not so much since she was here last night. The bed is made and I found the mouse late last night. I will have to go back for my charger though.
I took Preston outside and he walked on to the beach and I went after him to pick him up and he bit me. It was stupid of me but I didn’t have the leash. I called him to come back as I was walking back and he followed. He broke skin and he did it a couple of times. I washed it when I got in the house and then again when i got home and I put hydrogen peroxide on it. Some clear ooze was forming on it but it went away after the Hydrogen peroxide went on it.
The cats were happy to see me (at least I think so). The morning routine (sans the sleeping on the couch) has been done. They were vocalizing for nearly the first half hour. I knew they wanted to go in the bedroom. I acquiesced. I am such a wimp.
The weather for the first day of the 2019 is cloudy and warm? Yeah it's 55 degrees right now. I thought the sun was coming out today. Just cloud and a tad windy. I hope the windows survive.
I managed to see the Taxes that are due for the house and the car. It looks exactly like the one last year but I am not sure. I am not sure I want to send it via cc or the way I did it last year (through the checking account). I have until the end of the month to pay it so it doesn’t have to be paid today. I will figure it out though.
I sent a message to Liz wishing her a Happy New Year and she replied but didn’t answer about the party for nelson. I will find out eventually. I heard from Jennifer overnight from my New year’s Post.
A part of me feels I should not be going to the gym after the food I had last night and yesterday but i did promise Alex and I haven’t gone since Saturday. I also feel i should eat anything since I ate like crap yesterday. Then again It's a new year. So coffee and yogurt. I will see once I get stuff done around here. That’s a slow go.
Well the dryer stopped and I better get to it. I have more to do and a shower to take. The more I write this the more i am putting off the gym.
