I love rainy weekends

It’s been raining for most of the day today and it is making it humid. It is supposed to rain for most of the weekend. There is currently a flash flood warning for the area. The reason I love rainy weekends is you can spend most of the day inside doing what ever you want. In my case it will most likely be cleaning. Then tomorrow evening is the fundraiser. Sunday will be the regular Sunday activities. This time without the migraine I got last week.




Work went well. I was able to get most if not all of the daily work done. I have readdress mail to do and of course the two remaining batches of postage/return mail tallies. If the mail volume on Monday isn’t really heavy I can probably get that all done.



We did have a brief meeting about the Internet Use and time management policies that came out yesterday. A few questioned the reason for the written policy. They also questioned the fact that co-workers are encouraged to “tattle”. Some even suggested “Hostile work environment”. Gayle said basically supervisors, managers, are the only ones to ask its no one else’s business.



I got my new lens and they are great! No motion sickness and use to them already. Everything seems clear and concise. My hope is to never let them get scratched. I am hoping the lens cleaning wipes we have won’t do anything to the lens either.



While I was waiting for the glasses I spent time over at Liz and Nelson’s. When I arrived Nelson was just going to the Barber and Liz was with Mom. I relaxed until Liz got there. We talked about family issues, the trip, and dynamics. In retrospect the family issues included the dynamics.



I got home around 5. Traffic was slow all over the place and that really was frustrating. Unfortunately there had been accidents elsewhere and that contributes to the “fear of driving in rain”.



Mom was already in her pajamas when I got here. She didn’t realize it was raining when I arrived. Anyway she had me take more of the potted plants from out back to the bulk trash pile still out front.



Two Bodies were found in Milford this morning and police continue to investigate. I took a look on the map and discovered it is near my Cousin Bob and Donna C’s home. It’s just over half mile up from their home. The location of the murder suicide is about 6 miles North of here.



I was planning on cleaning the room and getting my laundry done. I decided it would be better if I just relaxed. The NCIS marathon is on now and is going to finish at Midnight. Unfortunately I will have to miss the last hour because Mark Harmon is being interview on Centerstage on YES network.
