Its gonna be a hot one

It is 79 degrees in the city and back home.  It is supposed to go into the 90’s by this afternoon.  Then drop to the 80’s overnight.  We are supposed to get a break in the heat with thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon or evening. I am that point where I hope it cools down things (something tells me it won’t).

Well I guess I should tell you I had a hard time sleeping last night.  That late afternoon/evening coffee would be the culprit as well as the tooth again.  I spent a lot of time on Words with Friends I & II.  I don’t think I fell asleep until maybe 2.  I woke up with a headache. 

I didn’t take all of the early morning water that I am supposed to.  I was afraid that the oral gel I applied would be wash away.  I did take my meds including some Tylenol, so I should feel better soon.

I called the Oral Surgeon to schedule an appointment and I was told as soon as they convert the registration packet from electronic they will call me.  They were true to their word.  They called me back a short time later and my appointment is next Wednesday 11 am.  I won’t be going into work until after lunch.  I let Liz know.  I put in the time already.

I bought Gina’s shower gift.  It’s one of those Oxo grip organizers for $25. I had it delivered to her home.  I am not worried about the price as I think I could afford it and I am not spending more than I can afford.  Liz wanted to know what I got her and showed her the receipt.  I also told her I would get a gift card, so they could get something may need.  I looked up etiquette for gift giving and they do give a price range but stressed it also based on your budget.  Well she got the email, but she didn’t seem to object.  She may be holding her own counsel because she has been trying to not give unsolicited advice.

        I went for a walk at lunch 45 minutes long and it was 5018 steps.  Making it up to 7K plus.  I will be at 10k but the end of the night.  I think.  I hope.

 

errands

Good news checked the informed delivery and it looks like I am getting the new CC today.  What a relief.  Too bad the two amazon deliveries (the wipes and TP) are nowhere to be seen.  I have placed two refund requests.  I had to contact the seller for the wipes because amazon isn’t going to refund it.  The TP refund will be honored.   I plan on writing to the corporate headquarters and recommend they reevaluate their third party venders. 

I went to AT&T store today and the guy was absolutely useless.  He said basically that I should ignore it because AT&T would have called or something.    I will try again because I don’t like the answer. 

I went to Walmart and returned the Fitbit and it will be a few days before it posts back into my account.  When I got back to the car I downloaded one pedometer and I didn’t like the way it was tracking my steps and shared the story with Alex when I saw him for our session.  I have downloaded another one I am testing and it’s been rocky.  I have no patience with stupid shit.  I also think this goes back to the phone not being right.

I had a late lunch from Wendy’s this afternoon.  As I told Alex this evening I was sorely tempted to get a hamburger but instead I got their Southwest Avocado Salad.  The chicken was huge.   I ate it at home.  I told Alex about it and he reminded me to be careful of the guacamole because of the Caloric intake.  Later on after my session with Alex I picked up some more milk and regular Half and half.  WE had discussed my indulgence with the creamer so I promised him I would reduce it but I also got milk because I was low on that. 

JOC and I were unable to walk today because JOC has something wrong with her foot.  She will see the doctor on Monday but if she was feeling better we will go tomorrow or the next day.  She will definitely be going to the meetup if the weather holds up.

I had a wonderful phone conversation with Big Brother.   We talked about so many things.  Housekeeping and the steps to keep ourselves organized and what is important to us.  Several times I told him we are certainly soul mates.  We seem to have the same views on a lot of things.  I even admitted to him that my finances are not as good.  I have a hard time telling that to Liz.

I talked with Mama for about 20 minutes before going into Walmart and we talked about Telka’s kids, what’s opening in LV, and discussed the possibilities of travel.  I admitted to her that I think I was channeling her sister.  Her sister has hard time managing money as well.  It’s been a source of contention with them.

Oh someone was shooting off fireworks and they looked great but its just before 10.  It’s not the first time there have been a number of nights in the past week the fireworks have been shot off.  Last week I was woken up at 3 in the morning.  My Guess is since the cities have cancelled their fireworks displays many are doing their own more than usual.

 

Had a great Sleep

As you may remember I ended up not going to the meetup last night and stayed home from everything.  I did routine stuff that I usually do when I come home from the meetup just a few hours early.

I made it a point to speak to next door about the garage.  He asked a few questions like why? When and I tried to give the best answers I could without sounding like a willful child.  I have to check with LB for the deadline for nextdoor to empty out.  I kept getting the feeling the relationships are going to change and make me feel I should go and get a condo.  I don’t like that feeling.

I had a really weird experience last night and I think it may be tied in with my visit to the cemetery the night before.   I was going to be early for the ladies guild meeting (or late) and I decided to stop by and see my folks.  I didn’t spend too much time there but I just needed to see them.  Well when I got home there were three rabbits in the back yard!  Usually there is just one at a time but not last night.  I couldn’t help but cry and think they wanted to know I was okay.  I sent text messages to both L and J.

While I was watching the NCIS bingeathon I started to fall asleep so I decided to go up to bed.  Tiger came with me surprisingly and stayed with me and for a time.  Eventually sky came and pushed his way to his spot.  OF course tiger left after that and eventually Sky and I fell asleep for a few hours.  IT was a restful sleep.

When I woke up this morning I didn’t want to get up out of bed so I ended up missing the class.  So we did our regular morning routine and I was out the door for the shuttle.

I spent most of the day on Scanning and it went pretty well.  I also had to do my first FedEx shipping in months.  The site changed for me and it was really frustrating.  I had to keep bothering a head admin for it.  It finally worked but man oh man. 

After work I went for my dentist appointment but it had to be delayed for an emergency.  So I went and had dinner.  I didn’t think it was going to be prudent to go back home.  I had a turkey burger and salad at Pop’s and then headed back.  I have to remember to write it down in the health blog later.

The whole thing took longer than expected because he had to stop for someone’s exam (not mine) and to do more work  on my mouth.  It was nearly 8 when I got out of there.

So when i got home didn’t do much. Went to bed a short time later.

Aw Man I am so looking forward to...

Aw man I am so looking forward to the dentist next week.  Wait! Wha?  Yeah I ordered steak and vegetables for dinner last night and my mouth was hurting especially where that tooth is.  I have been putting off calling the doctor because I knew I would be going soon.  It doesn’t hurt every day only when certain foods irritate it.  I believe the tooth is cracked but it doesn’t get any looser.  I swished with warm water and salt but didn’t do anything except maybe cause my hand swell. I did put some orajel on and it took time for the pain to go away..

So i have been home since 4:30.  Shortly after I got home a woman from an environmental group was looking for people to write letters to politicians on behalf of Citizens for environment.  I also gave them some money...i have information that its legitimate.

Spent the rest of the night either watching NCIS:LA marathon, and updating some files and took a walk.  It wasn’t long walk but it helped get to 12k steps.  I Hope it helps with weight loss.  I will see how well or how bad I did in about an hour.  

I also came across emails regarding the next 4th District meeting.  Six people can’t make it because Friday’s are not good.  THat’s the problem with Summer meetings.  Everyone has things to do on Fridays.  Our Meetings are supposed to be THursdays and I do the alternating week.  Thursdays are not always good for Sharon.  I have to really get to those minutes.

I am glad I put on a heavy nightgown because its been chilly when going to bed.  I don’t know the exact temperature for last night but this morning its 54 and sunny.

Well I need to get ready for the gym

I was sure I would be up all night

I worked until 5 or 5:30 and did the scanning.  I had eaten a bunch of cookies before going to the Coffee meetup.  I had no trouble getting there.  I had phoned in my dinner order picked it up and started meeting a couple of newcomers to the group.  Gil was a little late but that was fine.  A few of the regulars were there and overall we had a great crowd and talked until about 8:30.  By then I had coffee too.

I took the wrong turn going home so I ended up on Quinnipiac Avenue and Foxon Blvd.  I realized that’s probably how Gillion gets to and from Panera every wednesday.  It just got me home later than I wanted.  LUckily traffic really wasn’t bad.

On the way home I got a text from Jim asking if I had heard or seen the news about Michael Weatherly and Elisha Dukus.  Sadly I did and as i told him I was pissed.  He is stupid and with everything that CBS and Les Moonves causing this should not have happened.  WHat’s even worse is Pauley Perrette who literally bitched and ranted and alluding to things happening on the set of NCIS is supporting Michael.  As well as Sasha Alexander and Lauren Holly.    They are enabling his inappropriate behavior.  OF course I was taken to task by some bitch who thinks she knows me.  I also see the irony as well.

When I got home I was visited by two Rabbits (Mom & Dad) I didn’t see a third one (would be my brother).  I sent that message to Jim and his response was “aw”. That’s also the opportunity for me to get the garbage bins.  I wanted to limit my trips out to the garbage can last night. 

My new Day planner arrived yesterday along with a card from a couple that Mom new when she was a JP.  THey have been sending cards ever since.  I also got the cable bill.  It's already paid I think.  I finally emptied the dishwasher, made some more coffee and fed the cats.  

I went to bed by 10 but wanted to finish posting the THankful THursday post and ended up going to sleep after that.  The kitties were with me as well.  I didn’t even do any cards.  I woke up a few times during the night. 

We did get some news yesterday.  The Dean of the Med School announced he would be stepping down from his position in the new Year.  ACtually he said as soon as they (find a replacement).  It was announced throughout the University later on in the afternoon By the President of the University..

This morning was the normal stuff.  I went back to sleep on the couch and stayed there later than I should something I have been doing all week.  My hope was the traffic would continue to be light as it had been earlier in the week.  Happily it was.

ON my way out the door I notice envelopes on the ground by the side of the house.  They were the cards I had written earlier this week to a couple of cousins.  I was furious.  They must have blown out of the mailbox lid and the mailman didn’t see them.  Happily when i got to work i mailed them.  I still have to mail my letter to Shirley K in Australia.  I was hoping to do that tonight in between the dentist, gym and party.  It never happened.  Neither did getting more stamps.

  I ended up riding to the dentist in the rain. I was finished by 6 with a new appointment for a cavity fill on the 31s at 10 am.  I went from there to the gym.  I stayed for 45 mins.  I did about half of the class then went to the DTC party.

I had to park down the street and around the corner from the restaurant.  It was about half mile but in the rain it was cold and soggy.  I had told them i was going to be late  but I ended up being on time.  I mingled and ate salad and lots of nachos.  I didn’t leave until 9:30 and got home around quarter of 10.    Got changed and fed the cats looked at the mail and had my vitamins and supplements.

Now I am going to bed.  I am just so tired now.

Was late today

I thought today would be one of those days where I am late for everything.  Sleeping, work, appointments everything. I made sure I got to the dentist on time considering they had an opening earlier than 7 tonight. 

I spent the morning finishing up yesterday’s mail and worked on preparing the insurance refunds for mailing.  Today’s mail arrived early in the afternoon and was light it took me about an hour to do it.  I went back to the refunds shortly after that.

Throughout the day I had been checking social media and message boards for updates on my friends and family in the path of this hurricane.

After work I headed home before going to the dentist.  I left the house about quarter of and had no problem getting there.  Getting home was a different story.  I was waiting for traffic to move and a lady from the next town over slammed into the back of me.  The back of my car is dented and slightly skewed.  I yelled a little and then went into my car to get the info prepped and to find a current registration.  I couldn’t but the cop used the one in the state system.   The girl was clearly at fault.  I was calm when the cop arrived what seemed like forever.  I called the 911 and the person on the phone said it was already called in.  I had already played phone tag with my insurance agent and he gave me the info and so I will do that tomorrow (Friday).    The only thing that spooked me was the fact this guy in a flatbed truck was filming with his camera phone.  For a moment, I felt like I was getting scammed.  After he took our info, and give us info sheets I left.  A bit shaken and by the time I got home tired. 

I had to answer some phone messages and one of them was from Debra for our phone session.  I told her what had happened and it was about then post-traumatic stress came out.  From the car accident to the fact that I couldn’t get a hold of Liz.  I tried at least twice to call her and she either ignored the phone call (never picked up) or slept through it.

The other phone calls had to do with three possible chimney sweeps but I just was too tired.  I will deal with them later.

After that I had a late dinner, gave the kitties kibble.  Now is tea and bed.

Dear Friends:

It is nearly 1:30 in the morning.  I was so exhausted last night that I was in bed by 8.  Before going I paid some bills and answered the weekly questions for the livingwells2 list.

The Dentist appointment was as I expected good.  He had the three fillings done by 6:30.  I was early for the appointment so they took me in early.  My mouth was numb until  a little while ago.  I had a hard time easting my dinner because I kept chewing my lower lip. 

When I got home Mom started cooking the lamb chops and the rest of the food and a short time later we ate.  It was delicious but I couldn’t finish the second one.  I probably will have that for dinner tomorrow.

Okay well I need to get back to sleep…

Dear Friends:

Good Saturday Morning to you!  It is a beautiful morning.  I was up early to move along the laundry I left in the machines.  I  ended up going to sleep right after I posted yesterday’s entry.

I have been to the dentist appointment already and haven’t done all that much.  Just folded clothes and tried with little success clearing out the dryer vent.  Other than that I am up here while Mom is cooking.  I have told her if she wants me to do anything to call me.

My Nephew Rich came over and fixed the kitchen windows that have been giving us trouble.  It turns out that he forgot to take off certain things that protect it during transportation and his brother thought they had to be there.  Anyway it was great to see him.

I talked with Debbie to confirm I was coming.  She was saying that the city just finished paving her street as well.  I still have to get her a birthday card and I will get it on the way to the cat feeding.

I probably could update files and get rid of papers I may not need anymore.  Mom says most of her stuff is pretty well set.  She will be cooking the corned beef tomorrow and the last minute things tomorrow.  She wants me to clean the bathrooms when I get home from Bingo.

I got an email from Dr. T today to discuss membership issues.  We have one person who hasn’t shown up to any meetings in quite a long time but using our FB to get ideas for her other organizations.  This is an unacceptable practice.  Once we accept members they can have access to the page.  Other news the Clothing drive is moving along.  We need about 49 bags for collection on October 5.  One of our members or several members dropped about 21 bags to Dr. T’s this past week.

I actually do see some emails I have gotten that need to be saved.  It has to do with my health blog so it probably is necessary to read them.

Dear Friends

Happy Thursday!   It was a beautiful day.  I was busy all day until I left for my dentist appointment.  Unfortunately I had more mail than I anticipated and still haven’t finished todays.  I have to admit I was a little anxious about getting it done.  I believe by the time I start my weekend I will have it back on track.  Have I mentioned I don’t always like holiday weeks?

It was a beautiful day for a walk and that’s what I did at lunch time with Denise.  We walked over to Atticus Bookstore next to the British Art Gallery and bought a couple of sandwiches (one that I Knew I would be sorry for )for our lunch.  We chatted about stuff.

It was still beautiful when I left for the dentist appointment but traffic was a mess.  I am not quite sure what happened leaving New Haven but I thought I was going to be late for the appointment.  I managed to get there on time.  Needless to say the implant installation is complete and I have a full row of teeth.  It took longer than I had hoped but it looks great.  It feels a little odd but it will only a matter of time it will be fine.  Unfortunately I have a filling to get in about two weeks.

When I got home MOm totally forgot (at least I think) that I had the appointment.  She did say she wasn’t feeling well again.  When I spoke with her earlier in the day she had been getting ready for the doctor.  I Have yet to ask her about that and I will before I go to bed.

It is been rather quiet evening watched TV and dozed.   I even took a warm shower to get a little warmer.  Now that it is after 9 I think I really need to get some sleep.  I really felt great after last night’s sleep.  Even though I did wake up when I wanted to I turned over and slept for another forty-five minutes.

I have to start planning my outfit for Sunday’s party.  I am probably going to wear a nice black top and pants with the blue jacket (floral print).

Tomorrow night should be fairly quiet.  Maybe get some laundry done before the weekend starts.

Dear Friends,

Happy Thursday!  I hope you all had a pleasant one.  The weather was overcast and rainy in the late day.  It wasn’t too bad as I headed to the dentist for the implant installation.

I want to wish everyone who is celebrating a birthday to a great one.  May you have many incredible memories.  That should cover all the birthdays I know I will be missing today and this week.  We are having pizza on Friday for two people on the team..

Despite being a little stiff this morning (not sure why as I have been taking my meds regularly).  The morning seemed to pass quickly.  I finished yesterday’s mail when today’s came early and light.That enabled me to work on the stuff I couldn’t get to yesterday.

The implant installation didn’t go as planned.  They were not fitting the way he wanted them so he is sending them back and molding them together.  This will take two weeks.  I had warned Mom before I left that I may not be up to having dinner tonight because of the activity.    i was really hoping this would be finished by now but it will soon.

There has been a two inch red spot on my where the infusion was put in.  Its warm and tender (not in a good way).  I asked Denise about it she suggested I call the doctor but Mom says she got the same thing when she had it done.  So I don’t know what to do about that.  My legs had been bothering me all afternoon too.          sigh

I called Mom and told her the news.  She informed me that we had no water and that we needed to go out tonight because our friend Gayle lost her mother.  I had to take another route home into West Haven and then walk from there.  I chatted with the construction crew who had to stand around until the water main pipe was repaired.  Some guy was taking pictures of it.  I have no idea why but I thought he was really a mess.  

It is now after 6:30 we have had dinner but still no water.  It really is going to be a lot more time before we have it back on.  So we are not going to the services.  There will be another one tomorrow.

OH I got some emails from Dr. T.  It was an activities reminder for events and meetings that are coming up in the next month.  i Have to make calls to members and remind them of  them.

I got a letter from J Viers today.  Its the second one in two weeks.  I don’t know why she has started mailing them when we have been emailing each other for a while now.  Her other one is somewhere under this massive pile of papers.  I will have to write her soon.

Since we are not going I think I am going to watch TV for a while and then hit the sack.

Not what I was expecting

I got to the Dentist about 1:30.  The sign on it said lunch until 2.  I was concerned because they had called me and asked to come earlier than originally scheduled.  So I sat in my car for 10 more minutes and then went in and the door was opened.  I went in and they took me quickly.  Well I had to make a pit stop then I went into the room they wanted me to be in.

The Dentist started setting things up taking out the screws and working on it.  He even took x-rays and making molds of my mouth.  It took nearly an hour or so.  I was out of there by 3.  I forgot that this was to be the next step in the process and it wouldn’t be the implant insertion.  That won’t be for another three weeks.  If I am not mistaken its the same day as SM’s retirement party.  

I was sort of home a short time later.  I was about a block from the house when I realized it was still blocked so I had to all the way around into West Haven and on to Jones Hill Road then to my street.  

The guys were just getting cleaned up for the day.  I had heard the project manager was either moved or let go.  Everyone on the street is rather upset because he was great.  If someone is complaining its taking so long let them run the project instead of the current leadership.  Some people need to 1) mind their own business 2) think about the consequences of their actions.  If they muck up the current tempo something could go wrong.  These guys apparently ran into some issues and had to work through them.

I was able to relax a while before dinner.  I watched the NCIS Marathon or at least parts of it.  I got lazy for a while too.  Mom went and ran some errands and came back around 5 or 6.  She cooked the pork chops for dinner with perogies.  

After dinner I got ready for the DTC and I managed to get the minutes written for the district.  I sent them to the District Chair.  I knew I would be seeing him this evening and told him to expect it.  He likes to ramble.   So we discussed either of us putting an agenda for the meeting together prior to the meeting.  Anyway, as soon as he approves them I will get them out.  I have a few other things to send out as well.  I have to admit the attendance was minimal for this time of year.  We are actually starting off our campaign season now.

The DTC itself was good and speedy.  We heard from the districts and boards (some of it was more than I remembered from our district) and we have lots to plan for over the next few months.  Mom couldn’t hear certain things and that made it frustrating for us a little.

Now that we have been home over an hour and half its raining.  There have been a few rumbles of thunder and flashes of lightning.  I think its supposed to do this all night.  I won’t know because I just took Alka-Seltzer plus.  i haven’t been feeling great tonight.  If I don’t get to sleep soon I won’t get my 8 hours.

It would seem

It seems I have a middle ear infection.  The nice MD (who apparently doesn’t age) prescribed antibiotics and ear drops.  There was some confusion on one and the other isn’t available or isn’t being paid for by the insurance company.  I managed to access the patient portal for the Internal Medicine and left messages.  I am just waiting to hear from them.  I will pick up the Azithromycin tomorrow either before or after the oral surgery. 

It was nearly lunch time when I got back to the office.  The mail was waiting for me and I got to it.  I spent the afternoon working on it and now have only a small handful left that I will add to the mail from tomorrow. 

I had a scallop roll/sandwich from Szabo’s and it was delicious.  There were fries with it and a soda all for $9.  It was quite good.  After lunch I continued to work on the mail until it was time to go home.

Ethel called me this afternoon trying to get a hold of Mom.  Ethel was going to the city to be with Diane for her birthday and Mom offered to take Ethel to the train when it was time.  So in essence we were literarily playing telephone.    They apparently connected as Ethel was here when I got home tonight.

Ethel’s train wasn’t leaving for some time so she joined us for beefaroni dinner.  They left around 5:30 and I finished the dinner and watched NCIS.  I cleared the table and figured out what I was doing wrong with the patient portal (using the wrong username). 

When Mom came home she finished making more beefaroni dishes and got into her pajamas and relaxed.  I started some laundry and just waiting to put in the dryer.

Liz called tonight and says she is going to a retreat this weekend so she won’t be home at all.   My nephew Rich is coming on Thursday for Thanksgiving.   Jim’s plans changed slightly so he will be coming in on Thursday with the kids.

I think I am going to make my “To-Do list” tonight so that I can make sure things are done before the weekend start and that I don’t get underfoot of Mom.  She did some shopping today and I am thinking she is going full steam ahead now that Thanksgiving is a week away.

Things didn't go as planned

Today didn’t go as planned.  I got up early and hung around for a bit thinking I would go at 10 to get the INR done.  Mom suggested I get it earlier so I left here around 9:30 after calling the doctor’s office to see how long the wait would be.  Their voice mail message was “they were closed due to weather”.  I figured they left it that way from the storm.  They didn’t.  I got there after 9:30 and found they were not opened at all so I had to come all the way home made some calls to the Oral Surgeon and Liz.

The first call was semi good.  I explained the situation and they suggested I go to the Milford Lab next to Quest Diagnostics.  I called Liz and explained the situation.  I got to the Lab by 10:15 and registered and then had to wait.  I finally got my blood test.  It was not just the finger prick like usual.  By then I think my BP was up to million. The results would take 20 minutes.  I got to Liz’s and told her what was going on we chatted with Chris who was getting among other things last minute instructions to pick up Rich.  Unfortunately as we got in the car she kept thinking of things to tell him and it was getting later and later.  I think I was calm but not sure. 

We got to the oral surgeon and I explained what was going on.  Eventually we got the results of the INR and it was too high.  4.16.   The procedure was cancelled so I had to wait for Liz to come back to the office (I left my phone to charge here).  Liz came back for me around 12:15 or so.  While she was waiting she was at Rich’s house looking for stuff.

 On the way back to her house we stopped at D&D and got coffee for us and Nel.  He was just coming home from a Doctor’s appointment in Fairfield.  We talked about everything.  The neighbors that stayed with them (apparently it got sticky for all); health; plans for Christmas, and memories in general.  I left around 1 because they had to go to Killingworth to babysit Nel #3.

Mom came home around 2.  We will probably do our own thing like laundry and stuff.  I have taken some Dayquil (Costco version) this afternoon because I sounded bad today.  Later on I will take the night time stuff so I can sleep.

For now though I am going to do the laundry.

Baby Boy Santore

Liz called me this afternoon just before 4 to announce that baby boy Santore came into this world. JSantore had to have it by c-Section. According to Jessica’s post on Facebook:




“Proud to welcome our new baby boy Luca John Santore, born 10/18/12 @2:36 p.m. Weighing in at 7lbs-7oz and 22.6 inches. We are totally in love!!” The picture is absolutely beautiful.

Liz will be also sending pictures and stats at a later date. I had called them at lunch time and couldn’t really hear Nelson. We both acted like nothing was wrong. I called back when I got back to the office. AS of then they were still waiting. I also told him about the Milford Patch.



Work was long and busy. I got to the office by 7. I gave JanetN her coffee and shortly afterwards started on my stuff. I did the readdress mail labels until LEE came with the lockbox. Then I went back to it afterwards.



We had a fire drill (at least I am thinking it was) around 10. Happily the weather was nice so we all got a few minutes to enjoy it. There was no fire brigade arriving so that was clue for us then.



I worked on the daily stuff until 3:30. I managed to get the stuff from Downstairs. All of it was delivered a short time later.



DeniseK called this morning to tell me her Mom was admitted and waiting for an MRI. Apparently she did have a serious fall but they don’t have any results yet. Denise may be in work tomorrow.



OT went okay. I couldn’t get started fast enough. The computer had to be rebooted because of a security update. I took my time getting situated (read: got on line a few times). I managed to scan at least 308 pages. I think 11 batches altogether.



I was so tired by the time I left. I had decided as I was pulling into the driveway that I would not be going to the Headquarters tonight. Mom had me call M&T and Chairman Phil to let them know we wouldn’t be attending at all. Phil had informed me that he was the only one from the 4th. Even the people who encouraged us to change the venue apparently weren’t there. WE discussed using our personal phones and laptops for the phone bank and auto dialing and we are in agreement that we don’t like using our own. His is because of time and usage. Mine is I don’t want people to call me back. I have already gotten a couple of calls.



Ethel was here when I got home tonight. She joined us for stew and that was great. Mom went to see her earlier today and missed her completely. It was good to see her. She was talking about how the house has been re-arranged and how she spends her day (working). She is fighting a cold right now.

Tomorrow She will be apartment hunting with my Niece Diane. She was supposed to come in tonight but had an audition to perform. She might have to come in later.



I heard from the oral surgeon’s office today. It would seem I will have to shell out $3K for the implant next month. When I told Mom she was shocked. She says this will deplete my savings. I just don’t want to argue with her about this. This particular dental insurance doesn’t cover the implants.



I was going to pay some bills but I am just so tired I can’t see straight. I have to get up early again to leave for work early. They can wait right? Not really. I better get to them before I go to bed.
