    Good morning. It's almost ten, and I'm finishing tasks before heading to Gill’s for wedding preparations.    Faith and Jerry’s wedding is in two weeks, but we still have tasks to complete before then.   I ordered a nice pair of green flats for the wedding from Amazon.   I managed to sign up for Amazon Prime.   I hope I will not regret it I'm going grocery shopping and doing laundry today instead of tomorrow, hoping to fit in some cooking and rest as well. This week was stressful and overwhelming due to work and catching up on scanning. I still need to print last week's documents, but I believe Tania is handling it.    I attended the committee meeting to plan next week's rally and recruit participants.    I had to have a little help with the email.   EV may not have liked it, but I was distracted.   The few times I have had contact with the doctors about the bloodwork results.   I had to get one retest yest...

  Well, the rest of the weekend went well despite my misgivings.  I left here around 8 in the morning.  I made it to the church in New Haven by the time expected.  Sis, M&C, were waiting in the vestibule.  The morning mass was to start at 8:30.   I started getting Birthday greetings just after Midnight.   First from classmates and then my SIL Ethel in the Philippines.         Since then, got more and I eventually answered them all.   I was going to post one thank you message on FB but I just felt uncomfortable doing that.   Liz sent me a cute ecard for my birthday with a kitty and a message.   She said sweet things that made me emotional.   We chatted via Text this morning to let her know what I was up to.   Haven’t mentioned that EP sent me a message.   I suspect that she bought me a printer.   I had gotten an alert on Informed Delivery that I had a package coming from Amazon. It is 79 degrees in the city and back home.   It is supposed to go into the 90’s by this afternoon.   Then drop to the 80’s overnight.   We are supposed to get a break in the heat with thunderstorms tomorrow afternoon or evening. I am that point where I hope it cools down things (something tells me it won’t). Well I guess I should tell you I had a hard time sleeping last night.   That late afternoon/evening coffee would be the culprit as well as the tooth again.   I spent a lot of time on Words with Friends I & II.   I don’t think I fell asleep until maybe 2.   I woke up with a headache.   I didn’t take all of the early morning water that I am supposed to.   I was afraid that the oral gel I applied would be wash away.   I did take my meds including some Tylenol, so I should feel better soon. I don’t know what it is but I am feeling better today than I have in a few days.   The sun is shining and I think its well into the 70s at this point.   Partial clouds but no rain expected. Yesterday turned out great.    There was a power failure on the campus that made connecting through VPN hard and for the others to use epic and I thought I would miss the Embracing change class.      I didn’t.   The power outage seemed to be resolved by the end of the business day. So the class was very good.   I had to sign into the zoom with my email and password and connect through Facebook.   It used my profile picture and I later found I could undo it to be live.   I was afraid I messed up on the zoom log on for future zoom activities.   We will just have to see. I learned a lot from this class it has a lot of good tips and information on dealing with change.   I just have to remember to do the work for these classes prior. ...

Greetings and Happy New Year!   In about 4 hours I will be at my sisters getting last minute fixings for my night at Conspiracy Bar in Middletown for the Meetup New Year’s Party.   I am really looking forward despite not feeling completely better. I spent a lot of time hanging out yesterday.   We had a storm late in the day and it caused the Internet to go out so I slept for most of the day.    Oh it came back on around 7:30 but I had to reset the TV because I pressed too many buttons.   IT was all better now. I have been taking the Zicam and I was feeling better for a while but it seems the sniffles are coming back.   Oh I will be taking more Zicam shortly.   I hope it will be enough for the night. The weather has been great for the last few days.  In the 70’s and sunny. The only day we had rain was wednesday I managed to go for a walk at lunch one day and did just over a mile in 20 minutes.   I learned to use all trails recording app. ITs pretty cool. My day on Monday was pretty routine.  Did scanning, advised DG when I needed.  I am thinking today will be as well. I probably will be working on readdress mail that DG couldn’t find if we catch up with scanning.  THen refunds if they come in. Tuesday and Thursday we will be celebrating PM’s 40th anniversary with YM (and the University in general).  She has been a great friend, leader, and boss and I suspect she will be until I retire.   Also JerriK announced her retirement and her last day is next Tuesday.  We got her a card and gift card. I am beginning to think the cosmos is testing me!  Yesterday I found out AC will be on vacation starting today.  She will be back next week but in the mean time DG is off until Monday.  Gargoyle/GA is off until Monday starting this afternoon. I have told Supervisor I will be heading to the cloning department to make more of me.  I even think that joke is getting old .  So just have to do my best and not worry about it. Yesterday was the annual picnic and it was great.  I got there just about the time they asked us to arrive.  THere were other events there (kids dinner). The food was great.  I tried everything, except the alcohol,, sushi, and most of the appetizers.  I showed PTAlex the food I had which seemed little. I had bbq chicken, rib, corn, salad, and almost every dessert (except the chocolate fountain).  I hung out with a number of people and finally sat with some of the claims department. I was so impressed that I got to the gym early Saturday.  Finding out I was really early.  My session with Alex wasn't until 12:30.  I thought 12.  No matter. I also found out dinner not until 6.  Alex wasn’t happy with the results of the inbody (my body fat or muscle was up two percent) even though I was still 190.  He want me in the gym every day.  Unless it's hazardous weather conditions.  He says I can’t have ANY carbs.  So he had me do squats with kettlebell and the rows with trx and also on the rower to see how long it would take to lose 100 calories (small amount of fries).  He also had me do those ropes.  So I definitely made promises to him to not eat carbs and watch what i eat.  Make it to the gym daily (but he says if I did like the walks I don’t have to come in).  He also wants me to hit 8k steps.  Unfortunately it didn’t happen yesterday. I got home around 4:30 yesterday.  I emptied the dishwasher and did a few odds and ends and fed the cats then went under the blanket on the couch.  Not before having ribs for dinner. It was good but they irritated my newly filled cavity. I ended going up to bed because I was so cold.  That was around 7. I didn’t even get on the computer long.  The kitties were even came up and cuddled for a long while. I called Roberta on the way home and we talked about the NYE holiday and traveling, and families.  She is leaving this weekend for Florida. Yesterday was just so busy.  I spent most of the day with the mail.  It kept coming and I thought I would get through it by yesterday but more came.  I will definitely get it all done this afternoon. I heard from Jim yesterday.  He was getting last minute things for the trip.  I asked him if his roommate would be watching the cat and he informed me that he currently doesn’t have a roomma...

Dear Debra: Sorry for the double send last night.  I didn’t realize I had already posted it when I added more to the entry.  So for the third time this holiday you may be getting old news. We got word last night the Neighbors daughter got engaged yesterday.  Don’t know the details but I imagine I will soon.  This should be interesting.  Will share the details when I get the 411.
