As you know I have been procrastinating with the
house cleaning this week because I felt I had time to do it or I could do it
Wednesday or even next week. Well I
can’t put it off until next Saturday. My
dearest childhood friend is coming for a visit for a tour of the condo and
lunch. I don’t even know what I am going
to serve!
So now tomorrow I have my infusion and I am
going to the tax office to pick up my beach sticker and have to make sure the
entire condo is cleaned before the weekend.
I also have a board meeting tomorrow night for the ladies guild. :(
I did talk with Lisa today via IM and we are
getting together at 1 on Saturday. She
doesn’t want to be fed but I want some type of snacks...
Since my favorite show finished its season last
week it's all repeats so I can start the cleaning tonight. At least one room at a time would be good. I probably will pick up some of those
microfiber towels to do the floors.
Today was the first day back after the holiday
weekend and it's been a little hectic. I
have been scanning most of the day.
People have been coming to pick up laptops from IT. So we had to answer the doors (a lot more
than usual).
AC ended up leaving early today because she wasn’t
feeling well. She also said she wouldn’t
be in tomorrow. I warned DG/shadow about
it too. AC didn’t look great and she is
supposed to be starting her Vacation on Thursday. She will be gone until the 14th. I expect to be busy.
WE have an updated workday program that started
this week and people are still getting used to.
I have yet to take a good look at it.
As Siduri said it is already a clusterfuck.
Supervisor spent a lot of time training on it in his office. I still have to review it too.
I left the office and saw a campus police officer
sitting outside for his shift. So we
chatted up a storm. Don’t ask me why I
did. But we talked about a lot of
things. Including the current atmosphere with Police departments
across the country and how it affects the university/Campus department. He was very informative.
When we finished the discussion I headed to the dollars
store to pick up the rags (they didn’t have a lot of them) and the funnel or
medicine dropper (need that for the essential oils for the cleaning stuff). Actually
couldn’t get any of them. So in a day or
two will order them and have them deliver to the dollar store.
Since I got home I fed the cats, fed myself,
watched tv and did some cleaning and now going to bed.
