Lots going on
Thursday Mom fell and broke her hip. She has been in the hospital since then and had surgery yesterday and is beginning the healing process as I write this. She will be going to the nursing home I volunteer at for the rehab session. I saw her yesterday afternoon and she seemed okay but in some pain. I will be seeing her as soon as I post this entry. A couple of people have said they are sending flowers and cards to her. I am not telling her that because I want to be surprised. It looks like my nephew JOhn is going to beat his sister to the altar as he and Heather will be getting married on July 20, 2014 in Tacoma WA. I haven’t decided if I am going yet or not. There are several factors involved here Mom, finances, time and of course energy. Last night the Democratic Party Awards dinner was held at Aldarios Restaurant. I attended and had fun for a while.
