  So Sunday afternoon or evening I met my sister and her friend at her house and the three of us along with Nelson 3 drove to Milford Harbor to take a 2 hour cruise.  AT first we parked on the other side of where we were supposed to be.  We met Liz’s Friend there as well.  So we parked and walked towards the docks.  We took pictures.  I was watching the other group that was going on with us.   Soon it was time to get on the boat.  As we settled in, the larger group would be sitting around the pedal table, the rest of us sat in the back.  That’s when we were told that the pedal mechanism was broken and we would be running the engine.   So we left the harbor and made out into the sound.  We were supposed to be going around Charles’s Island but the water was choppy.  I didn’t think it was that bad but I am not necessarily a boater.  We rode around close to the shore and then had to head back in because they were ha...

  Special activities:   Since Jim invited me to go to the firing range with the both of them I have been trying to find out where the local gun ranges are (without asking them).   There are at least three or four in Lehigh County.   Two are in a town called Coplay and the other is in Emmaus.   The other one is in Easton and I couldn’t imagine us going all the way back there.   All though during my research most of them have about the same amount of drive time for each of them.      It turned out that activity got put aside.   Janis and her sister Sharon made plans with a dear friend of theirs to meet up for Coffee this morning and ended up shopping.   This allowed me to sleep in a little bit longer and hang out in the room until my “breakfast” with Jim.   Jim had to work in the local campaign office for a couple of hours that morning so we met at the Panera bread restaurant near his house.   We each got something ...

Somehow my afternoon after 12 pm, whizzed by me. We did our normal routine at the beginning of the day and I fell back to sleep for a bit and then spent time on the laptop. I was surfing the net and chatting with a pen pal who was having a hard day.   Missy lost a dear friend of hers of 19 years to Corvid19 and it was difficult.   He did a lot of stuff for her and she was just sharing the things he did for her.   She shared news about her mom that I didn’t know and it was fairly tough. I went to the gym this morning and did the class.   We had it outside despite the clouds above.   We were just waiting for the rain to start it didn’t come until we were already gone. I never got the water bottle that I left there on Thursday.   I checked yesterday and again today and it wasn’t there.   I thought she found it for me.   Either she lied or someone threw it away.   It belonged to RH from the DTC.   I did manage to go to rite-Aid yeste...

I was still feeling the humidity when the rain finally started.   The clouds may have started rolling in by 1 but it didn’t really start until 3.   It came down hard for ten minutes and it looks like its misting out.   The thunder is periodically coming through.   The rain dried up quickly.   Oops it’s raining again. I really have mixed feelings about the WWF’s 1&2 but I was trying very hard and after every time I finished a round ads or promotions of other types of games.   It was so damn frustrating even after the suggestions Jim (brother) gave me.   OF course just did a few and did okay…was a little more tolerant of the ads. By six hadn’t moved from the Livingroom much.   Fed the cats just a little before 5 and had to call them down.   That was a first in a long time.   Maybe they sensed my agitation early.   I was quite vocal.   They must be upstairs again.   I just checked and Tiger is under the dining room ta...

Yesterday was a great day!  Despite a few anxious moments between phone calls to doctors and getting email alerts regarding the shredder delivery.   The Calls to the doctors was to get the infusion number but they put me on hold and I had no patience for that.  LUckily I tried again this morning and they were a little bit more helpful.  The one with information was busy (I am thinking she didn’t want to talk to me because I hung up yesterday).  The one thing the infusion center is checking authorization.  The staff member said they would reach out to the center and see the status.  I hope it's soon. I had gotten an email alert informing me that the shredder was not going to be arriving yesterday as promised that it would be here today or tomorrow. It really annoyed me because I really needed it.  The Cosmos must have heard me because when I got home from the movies yesterday it was waiting on the porch for me.  The only thing that...

I feel like I am full of energy this morning.  I managed to get up and go to the gym and have class.  I had to leave it so I could shower, dress, and make it to the shuttle on time.  I did all that and managed to get coffee and got there early!. I was the only one at the first stop but  by the time we left West Campus it was full. So it's been five days in a row that I managed to get the shuttle.  I will be taking one after my session with Debra this evening. My hope is to continue it for next week.  I am debating whether or not to use the shuttle for Wednesday as it is also Meetup night. We didn’t have any problems until we got to the connector into the city where we see the end of an accident.  Three vehicles at different levels of damage. We didn’t have to wait long to pass it. From what I gather others did.  Hopefully that meant the cops were there. Since getting here I have been doing the mail.  Stuff that came late yes...

Today was a great day I went  to gym class and sweated more than I expected.  I also weighed in and managed to lose one lb this past week.  A didn’t seem  over the moon about it but I was sure when we meet for our  afternoon we would discuss . We did a little but  I know what I did and shouldn’t have done but now I am making sure I follow it.  WE had our picture taken for National Fitness Day too.  Check out my FB page . AS it was National Fitness day the gym was having some contests or challenges.  Anyone who signed up had to do certain amount of pushups, situps, and wall presses.  I did it at A’s urgence.  I received a free protein shake.  :) From there I had my session with A and did pretty well.  I did promise to go for a walk later on in the day.  I went for a walk around 7 and did over 2 mile walk.  That you can see also on FB. As much as I was looking forward to this storm or weather event.  I am glad I went home when I did yesterday. I left here at quarter after 12.  I got to the car and left for home and it took me 45 minutes to get to the house.  I could feel the brake when I put them on and feel the car slide a little. I was so afraid that I would be going over the deep embankment before  I got off the highway. There were many accidents throughout the state. When I got inside I didn’t do much of anything.  Watched TV, slept, surfed the net. The show I was hoping to see was airing the second season episodes (THe Big Valley) and all though there were some good episodes in that season I didn’t feel like watching it. I had already texted Alex canceling our session for the night.  He says we will reschedule. When not sure. I did spent time signing up for some classes.  The one this morning and two tomorrow night. I had every intention of going out at lunchtime and getting a hearty salad from a salad shop around the corner from my office.  Everyone who went out had the cold coming off their bodies when they came back in!!!! At lunchtime it was 27 degrees and it went up to 30 mid afternoon.  So I got a salad from downstairs and didn’t go out until it was time for my session with Debra. The daytime temps for the weekend are supposed to be in the 30’s and teens and 20’s at night.  We aren’t supposed to get any rain or snow but clouds for the weekend. So I will be bundled up  for Sunday’s walk. Next weekend will have the rain and snow showers.  Great that’s the weekend I am taking the titans to the Vet.  That should be fun. Not so much. It's also the weekend for the meetup walk. I may have to take a trip to the library and print out some letters.  Well at least one letter if I get anywhere close to writing it this weekend.  Either that i need ot get...

After a fairly good time at the Comedy Night fundraiser for my friend Ron.  I came home around 10:30 and relaxed but started falling asleep.  I slept on the couch and woke up around 5:30 this morning and did our normal routine.  Today I didn’t stand over the fur balls I went back to sleep for another couple of hours. Since I finally got up made a couple of text messages, watched TV, and had some coffee and wrote in the pen pal blog to be posted later (not entirely finished on that one). I had a great time chatting and catching up with old friends and neighbors.  The comediennes were a mixed bags of entertainment and almost all of them were really swearing (and I realize they are like that but there were a couple of kids there) and some of the subject matter was a bit much even for me.  That was outshined by the amount of money raised and the news that Ron is in remission. All day has been pretty windy.   More than once I have heard the wind whistling through the house and slamming the doors to bedrooms I had open.   I look out and the flag is blowing but the trees are not blowing as hard.   It makes me wonder if we are getting Hurricane Irma.   The Governor has asked residents to make preparations “just in case”.   In either case I haven’t seen any updates for the state… I learned today that a bar in New Haven had caught on fire and it turned out to be the one where Rich (my Nephew) is Bartender/bouncer for.   I just sent him an email and he says everyone is fine.   Thanked me for checking in with him.   I don’t know if he was working there today or not really. There was also a freak accident over at the DD about three miles from here.   Apparently a man dropped change on the ground and he got out and the car rolled back on him.   I have not been there in quite some time but I think Liz goes t...

It dropped at least 10 degrees in a day or so.   Yesterday I was being blown down the street while walking and today I have bundled up more.   I heard we may get snow flurries tonight.   Just as we are expecting the snow flurries the CPTV is rebroadcasting the documentary Blizzard of 78.   I had a good session with Debra.   Talked about the events of the last couple of weeks and she is confident that I will be smart about the “Meetups”.   She also recommended to not discuss it with Sis.   We will meet next week regular time. I did talk to Liz via text after I had received an invitation to my Niece’s baby sprinkle.   (That’s what they are calling it cute huh?)   Tentative plans are to go together.   It will be later on this month.   A week after Cheryl’s party.   I am thinking it’s time for another outfit.   I need to make time to get a gift for both parties.
