Weird Dreams

Morning everyone I hope everyone had a good sleep.  I did even though I had some weird dreams about animals.  First one was a either woodchuck caught up in the tree and came into the house and then I was with people whom I knew but we were picking up a dead body and there were dogs around and some were not comfortable with the dogs.  I don’t remember much more because I woke up.

I have been getting email requests to join LInkedin.com from many of my friends over the years and finally decided to look up the reviews.  They are mixed.  I don’t want to be spammed incessantly and I sure don’t want to pay for it.

I am probably going to work until 6 tonight.  I don’t have any appointments after work so I want to work on the re-address mail and hopefully help with the scanning.

I am hoping I can do some straightening up in my room before NCIS starts tonight.

What Would You Do?

The following is a reply (in italics) from me to a group I moderate on Yahoo groups. I can’t believe I let Channing’s post go through. I can’t stand posts like the one below and I am tired of seeing stuff like this.

I am as compassionate as the next person but I certainly wouldn’t be doing this kind of stuff. I am not sure how this will go over considering I didn’t check with the owner. I wouldn’t go posting on message boards or groups to have people send this to me.


Okay...I am sorry but these kinds of posts are really unacceptable. Nexttime I will not allow this to go through. This is tad amount tobegging and not related to pen paling at all.Channing I am sorry you are going through a rough time but pleasedon't send posts like this again
From her original post she explains she is in a group home and wanted people to send her this stuff and posted a list of things she needed like stamps and paper and CD’s and toiletries.

I checked in the different descriptions within the group to see if there was a “wishes folder” or guidelines but I didn’t see any.

Would you find this acceptable? I don’t think any of us would and I don’t see how it can be acceptable on any of the pen pal groups. As of quarter of 3 I hadn’t any replies to the post so maybe people are ignoring it or haven’t seen it.

It has been raining on and off all day today. Mom went out to run some errands and I have been watching TV, writing a letter, checking emails and stuff online. I did manage to pick up stuff and shred other things.

I found that I have a few more magazines for the Sorbo fans. I have emailed Stripe to see if she would want them. I am waiting to hear back from her.

Mom is leaving around 4:30 for her dinner with the Mercy Center Crowd. She made an orange cake for dessert for this. They will be doing a book discussion too. I can’t remember the name of the book they are reading.

I am going to go to the 4:30 mass at St Mary’s and then have dinner when I get home. I just feel like going today instead of tomorrow. I am going to have to get change soon.
