I am getting aggravated with my room again

This morning I got up and started getting ready for work and couldn’t find things. There are papers every where and piles of them at that. Every day I try to figure new ways to get more organized. I have document logs for different bills and different files and every time I either find something or get something I record it so that I know when I got it what I did with it and where it is located. Yet it seems to take too much time to do it. The things I thought I lost were found.

I really want to be more organized. I stepped on things that could easily be used again or could be tossed or broken. I am really tired of this room.

You know that saying? I can’t think of it but I heard it in a movie once. That’s I how I would like my room once again. I have pictures of this room over the years looking neat and organized and pretty. I know it can be done (but for how long is another story).

Work went okay. Mail volumes at all levels were heavy. They seemed a lot heavier than normal. I have to finish Lockbox tomorrow and work on the bad addresses. I made sure I did the lobby mail.

Found out a co-worker (Joanne A) who started working at Yale the same time I did is retiring in June. She is a wonderful lovely lady and I love her and will miss her. She some times calls me other names (No not those kinds of name!!!) other people’s names. Her retirement party is in late June at the Country House in East Haven.

My appointment with Dr, J Becker tomorrow was rescheduled for the end of June. I guess scheduling her new patients with her own was not as easy as they had hoped. Unfortunately the only time they had been 3:40. The scheduler said this would be a one time deal. It would go back to my regular time. I am not looking forward to telling her I didn’t go for the X-Ray yet.

Dave called me to let me know that he put the $50 deposit on the trip for Canada. He tells me the balance needs to be paid August 1 2011. I think he said it will be $705. He also gave me the name and address of the place that will handle the tour. I will be getting the itinerary and things like that very soon. It is out of Branford. Here is our tour. I am really looking forward to it. I am already trying to plan my wardrobe for that (I may have said that already too).

My session with Debra flew by. It didn’t help to get the runs. They subsided after awhile. We talked about Mom’s trip to Texas and any updates I had (none as of this writing). I told her about Mother’s Day weekend. I noticed a beautiful hawk flying around outside our window. It was huge. After the session I called Mom to let her know I was on my way to Dave’s.

The drive seemed long. Traffic was slower and got slower as I approached Devon. There was an accident going Northbound that tied up traffic. I ended up getting to Dave’s just before 6.

I had to “run” to the bathroom again. This was getting old. Really-really old after that Lulu and I went for a walk (the Wrestle mania session wasn’t as long as usual). I called Mom to tell her I would be taking an alternate route home because of the accident.

Before the conversation ended we agreed I would get some bread at the store. I went to the Dock Shopping center and got bread and another card for Rita. Once I got them I headed up to the Merritt and took that route home. It was a pretty ride.

I got home around 7 exhausted. Mom was on the phone when I came in. I was afraid it was Texas. It wasn’t. It was a friend from the DTC. She is this year’s Recipient of “Milford’s Living Treasure”.

I watched NCIS for a little bit and then got into my pajamas. I haven’t done very much and now that it is 9:30 I think I am going to bed.

Last Day of Vacation

Considering that today is my last day of vacation.   I am going to make sure things that were not done (housework mostly) are done...
