  Every Monday I expect my day to be busy. Most of the time it takes all morning to prune the three days of health logic and print them out. Sometimes at least one is high volume and the others  are normal.  Sometimes, like today, the website gives me a hard time with my password and ends up having to reset.  Which was annoying to me.   I also need to do the claim forms too.  Those were not so bad today.   I probably won't get to scanning until late afternoon.   Before leaving I was able to get a batch of refunds scanned.   I will do the rest tomorrow  I am. Also expecting  ga/gargoyle to show me what she does  with the mail that  goes to the hospital.  She is going  on vacation soon.   We are now working on dates for the mail from the beginning of February .  JT is still unsure of herself about it all and a part of me thinks she is playing me.  It frustrates me a little.  However, I am sure I have made people frustrated with my actions and behaviors.  She had to  thursday off and I am hoping I will be further along in the dates. On other news I had called IT to fix the zoom mechanism and now it's working.   My computer screen on the scanning computer had a loose wire.  It's all fixed now. We had a zoom committee meeting on Tuesday.  As I am writing this I am thinking back to a phone conversation I had with Kamisha who has stepped back from the Committee because she was not getting answers from key people and it was becoming frustrating.  I shared my experiences with  our lead organizer/steward with Kamisha and I could feel the annoyance.  It was on different matters but when she doesn’t answer or respond to...

Well Tuesday came and went quickly.  It rained on and off all day.  There is more coming tonight and tomorrow but it will be in the 70’s tomorrow and Thursday.  It is also a little windy as i sit here and write this.   My ride into work wasn’t bad but I think the traffic lady on CHannel 8 jinxed everyone when she said that traffic wasn’t bad.  OF course it isn’t almost no one has to be at work at 6:30!  No sooner did she say everything was good there were accidents scattered throughout the state.   I was a few minutes early so I stopped at the lobby mailbox and picked up the weekend mail brought it upstairs to my desk and then did my first mail collection through the office.  I chatted with a few people and then started working  I spent the entire day doing the mail and the re-address mail (man I haven’t said that in a long time!).  I was hoping to get to some scanning but it didn’t happen.     We had the Union Com...

My intention originally was to go to the mall and go walking.  However, this morning I woke up and my neck was bothering me and that is causing a slight headache.  I also looked around and need to do some stuff here.  The usual household stuff, laundry, paying bills, clearing out stuff, and of course get to the pen pal letters that I haven't had the energy to do at night. Friday was fairly busy or it seemed busy to me.  Since my Guardian Angel had the day off I was to gather the outgoing mail around the floor.  That didn't take long but I did it a few times even though she had reminded before she left to do it once.  I had a lot of the refund mailings to do and still haven't done it.  I had also the EOB sorting which I don't think got done either. We had the Labor Negotiations update.  Negotiations don't start until the beginning of Spring but one of the first things we will be working on is keeping the 986 jobs in the union .  One of the thi...

The two biggest things that have happened this week were my sleep study this past Monday night and my first Benlysta infusion today.   Both were went very well.   I don’t have the results from the Sleep study but I did learn I do snore mildly and I talk in my sleep.   I sort of knew the latter because I have heard myself in the past.   The infusion went by fast and my fears were set aside as I wasn’t alone in getting the infusion.   It went by fast.   I haven’t had any major side effects (except for sleepiness that might be due to the Zyrtec). Work has been busy and as I mentioned earlier a little bit tense and morale spotty.   There is another round of seat arranging.   At the beginning of the week I knew where I was going but now that’s up in the air.   I think the upcoming Holidays and parties will be a welcome activities. Dear Mom, It is another cool morning.  Another reminder that the summer is ending.  I still haven’t done any clothes shopping yet.  I just opened the tub of clothes that have been sitting in your office and I noticed I do have some clothes that are not just black.  The only thing is they are probably too big for me now.  As i told Liz last night via email I got cold feet.  I am really gonna get cold feet if I don’t get new shoes soon.  Maybe this weekend. Lee Ann came back today.  I wasn’t expecting it but when I talked with her she was great.  They sort of knew it was coming but at that moment it was unexpected.  She says she is not grieving.  They are not having services as she (her Mom) didn’t want it.  I asked her if she was getting back into Union activities and she said no but she did offer a view that one our current contract is finished we are going to be striking before the next one.  She says the atmosp...

Dear Mom, It is now Tuesday night.  Today started off rather painful the pain I talked about last night reared its head for a few hours this morning.  I had to walk slowly to the office.  Both Ann and Mary said if it continues i should go to the doctor.  A number of people said it.  I was feeling better by the end of day.  It seems to be coming back again...I think its because of the way I am sitting. Work is really busy.  The daily mail volume wasn’t bad but I have been doing a lot of re-address mail.  I had gotten word yesterday on what to do with the pre-auth and approvals.  In the past I was giving them to the various teams then they didn’t need them. Now I have to them to the docs.   WE have a couple of things coming up with the union.  Last week we were signing a petition to keep the Cancer Center from getting rid of the union jobs and giving them to the Hospital (that are non-union.  This happened at the Sleep ...

I was quite surprised to find Mom still sleeping when I left for bingo this morning. I knew she wasn’t feeling well so I let her sleep. All the while I felt weird about it. I was beginning to let my imagination go wild. She didn’t get up until noon. She wasn’t feeling good either. I will go to Costco shortly for some things Mom wanted. She had a couple of coupons she wanted to use before they expired. Bingo went well we had about ten people and JV came to help. I had been visiting a resident and she was telling me about her life here in Milford. It was quite interesting but I was there longer than I should have been. Oh and I don’t have a meeting tonight but on February 19th. We may have dinner together too. I got a late night email from Telka and she suggested we have dinner.
