Another Monday draws to a close
As another Monday drifts off into a memory I am sitting here thinking what memories I will remember fondly and what memories I will try and forget? There were many. My bus ride was pretty good. A man got on in West Haven and didn’t have enough change. He clearly had issues and I couldn’t begin to tell you what they were. He didn’t have enough money for the bus fair. I gave him a dollar. He said he would use on the next leg of his journey since this bus driver gave him a pass. Did I do the right thing? I don’t know. Work was hectic. I had not received the bulk of the lockbox and when I do it will be a lot. Volume wise the post office mail seemed heavy. I had to stay until 5:30 to make sure the bulk of it was done and delivered. I was almost finished with readdress mail from last week but got more today. My first priority tomorrow though will be the postage tallies (I had over 100 pieces).
