I was a little nervous when I got up Monday
morning. I said I got up, but I really
didn’t sleep much. I wasn’t sure Joni
got my message about the change in venue.
By the time I got to the restaurant I was relieved to find her waiting
for me.
The Reason I wanted to get to work
early was I wanted to make sure the health logic for the last three days were
printed out early and sorted early. I believed
I had a staff meeting at 9 but I learned I was wrong. I checked with the
Supervisor.
I had no idea what time I would be back
from Lunch. I was back by 2:30 but it
was well worth it. We talked about
everything. We were both fans of the
NCIS TV Show and we talked about how it changed over the years and the fans,
and the writing. It was clear to hear the
atmosphere on the set changed for her. We
also talked about growing up in our perspective towns. As two o’clock approached we said goodbye and
we left the restaurant.
When I got back to the office, I
finished sorting and preparing for scanning for today.
I left the office late and got home by
5. The night was quiet. I fed Sky and watched a small family of
Turkeys amble through the back yard. I
went to bed sometime around 9.
