Its going to be one of those days-2008 Edition

It is going to be one of those days I fear. I guess it started at home. I was all dressed and putting on the sun screen and some how I managed to get it all over my glasses. I tried to wash them like three times but it took time. I did it again when I came to work too.

I spent the morning doing readdress mail and stuff that should have been given to people way before this. I made some headway but I still have the bulk mail to do and today’s stuff. It looks like it is going to be light but I need to go down stairs pick that mail up too.

Mom sent me a cute couple of emails. One of them was “Words of Wisdom from Tweety Bird.

It is almost 9 and I am just trying to finish a letter to Molly D in Texas. It is an overdue letter and I wanted to get it mailed tomorrow. I will be going to bed shortly after I check some emails.

I left the office after 4. I saw some friends that I wanted to talk with and then walked with Allison G from Marketing and Communications. We talked about going to Clark’s shoe outlet at the Clinton Crossings to get new shoes. We talked a little bit about work. Once we got to the 6th FL we said goodbye and I headed home.

The Traffic on I-95 through Long Wharf was very heavy so I got on at exit/entrance 43. There was multi car accident on the side of the road. The traffic was moving but it seemed slow. Northbound traffic was backed up from Milford all the way over the Q-Bridge. As it usually is that time of the day.

It was quarter of 5 when I got home. Mom was on the phone and had a cake baking in the oven. For the next couple of hours she had to be on the phone about all kinds of things. She told me she spent most of the day on the phone trying to see what the allergists can do for her. It will be weeks before she sees one. She went to the Pharmacy around 5:30 or so

It was just about then when I saw people out in the driveway. One was Sean D and the other at first I didn’t recognize then it hit me it was Telka. In her sky red Saturn. The one she got for her graduation last year. She had been calling me from the porch and I didn’t hear her. So we visited for a while with Kim and had a great conversation. It was bout family, pets, and the graduation party next week.

We finally had our dinner probably around 6:30 or so. I can’t remember now. It was fish filets and noodles. We had the lemon cake she made earlier for dessert. It was delicious.

After dinner I watched TV, and did some writing. I also read some more of Pat Limbaugh to me. She was saying her house is falling a part in some areas and she doesn’t see some of her kids too much. Apparentnly there is some very bad blood and that’s sad.

Well my day is going to be very full tomorrow. I told Mom I would take care of the vacuuming and dusting tomorrow. She was unable to do it today and I know she won’t be doing it too much next week either.
