Today is my niece Emily’s tenth birthday (or eleventh) I am not sure exactly. She is a definite sweetheart and full of energy. I have sent her gift to her and I suspect that her Mom is holding on to it until today. At least I am hoping. I hitnk she si having a party with some friends either next week or she had it already.
Today I am going to the Bronx Zoo with Dave. We will be driving in and should be leaving anytime now. I will write about it when I get a chance later on. I called Telka to let her know but she was at work already.

Well hey there guys. I am home and had a great time. We left here just before 10 and made some stops at the banks and to Dunkin Doughnuts for a morning start off. After that we headed out on the highway and headed for the Merritt parkway. The ride wasn’t bad except for some slow spots. We got to the Zoo by 11:30. I paid for parking which was $12. We then stood in line and paid our tickets. I t was donation day so you could pick your own price. I gave $6. We then headed to the exhibits. I can’t tell you what we saw first but we saw almost everything that 4 hours could handle. We did miss out on stuff but that’s okay. We saw the bison, the monkey house World of reptiles, World of Birds, and the World of Darkness and we tried to see the bears but missed other things. We saw the Congo Gorilla Forest.
We did have lunch at the Dancing Crane Cafe around 1:30 or so. I had Chicken Parm and soda. After lunch we finished as much as we could. I think that point we went to see the birds and the conga gorilla. We left by 6 and got home by 7:15. Dave and were a little unsure if we were going the right direction to the Hutchinson but it turned out okay.
When we got into CT by 6:30 or so I saw some deer playing at the side of the road it was so cool. Traffic wasn’t bad and we managed to get to the house by 7:15. I came inside checked my mail and then got over to Roberta’s for feeding time. I was back here by quarter or 10 of 8 and now I am exhausted and going to bed.
