My day started off with a headache. It lasted until mid morning. It has to be one of these pillows. I just don’t know which one. I ate some food and had some Tylenol. Around 10 I had a good size breakfast and certainly by then it was gone.
My attempt to get to work fairly early failed for the fourth day in around. I started on the lockbox and it was small enough that I was able to finish it by 9:30. From that point until the mail came I worked on the scanning. Most of them were personal payments. I was able to work on about ten batches all together.
It was just about this time I got a phone call from Dave. He called to tell me that his sister Carlene died unexpectedly in her home. He was on a red eye when he got a phone call from his Aunt. He waited until he got to the airport and instead called his sister Denise. She apparently was a little blunt. She didn’t want to tell him while he was driving so she asked where he was (I think he was at his apartment by then).
At Lunch time I went to the bank and then got lunch. I really wasn’t feeling that great yet so I didn’t want to over do it. I will spare you the details.
After lunch I spent the rest of time until I left for home working on the mail. There wasn’t a high volume but I needed to work on the return mail that was now four days behind. I managed to get two done.
It was also during this time I made peace with LAS. We discussed yesterday’s incident and we both came to an understanding. She knows I want to do new things but not at the expense of getting behind. I even mentioned that I started to do something slightly different. I will be working on re-address mail along with mail.
I left the office for the day by 4. There was a light misting rain like this morning. When I arrived home there were a woman and her friend coming to the house too. It was the bride from last week. She was returning books to Mom.
After their visit Mom and I got back into our routine. She had dinner cooking and we decided not to have that but meatloaf instead. I also decided not to go to the Democratic Headquarters Grand Opening. I was just too tired.
Mom puttered around the kitchen and I showered and got into my pajamas and watched TV. I think I got online a little too. OF course I did some laundry and it should be all done now.
Sis sent out an “Invitation” to the family for a combo birthday for J and A for the 14th. It is the same day as the Meet and greet here. Mom said she told Liz that a few days ago. Mom says I can still go to that as well. That will be a very busy day for me.
SIL is now on a mission to look at Apartments and or condos. I am not sure where she is looking but it should be interesting. I am not sure where she is going to put the other stuff.
