It started raining some
time during the night. It is windy but not like its whistling
pitch. We still have our power while
many others have not I can’t tell by this map for CL&P. United Illuminating is our power
supplier. It looks like there is an
outage in Bridgeport
but no one is affected?
Union meeting for
tomorrow was cancelled! Yay! So I can come
home right after work if there is no
OT. That’s also if we are actually
working. I think that day we will have to use our time
on that one.
Liz called nothing new there.
I went to see them when I finished with my INR check-up. They were not home. So I came
home.
I had gotten a call from IMM asking me
to come in earlier than scheduled as
they were closing at 11:30. I did and
happily the level is 2.2 I have to stay at 20mg of warfarin and come back Thursday.
I actually have to call the oral surgeon and find out what the Coumadin level
he wants it at.
I did end up calling the Oral surgeon and they want it at
2.8. I have been trying to get IMM
through the patient portal but it won’t let me
log on. I will have to call them
tomorrow again (I am finding that portal very annoying to use).
As I suspected Liz and Nelson drove around to see the storm at
its calmest in town. She stopped by just around 11 and showed us pictures
and told us that SIL has been mandatorily evacuated to a friend’s house. She even walked Mom
down as far as Rosemary Court
to show her the power of the water. All
the while BIL was rushing her out of here.
She told him to knock it off (I only heard part of it). I did show him the river and he doesn’t seem
like he was annoyed with me from the
last time. They left after a while.
I stayed a little longer talking with neighbors I haven’t seen
in years. Sadly he doesn’t keep in touch
with his family but we talked about other things. Some
of things I probably shouldn’t have said.
I don’t know what made me say
it.
One neat thing did happen today while I was at the store I found
$10 in the parking lot. Of course I will
put it away or use it. Most likely use
it.
People are sending in pictures to their Facebook, twitter, and
of course to the TV stations new casts.
Channel 8 continues to stay on and I guess so do the others. I went outside to check if people are still
turning around down the street and some
are one didn’t (but the waves were not coming on to the street) and someone was sea skating on those skidoo’s
