Where is Mom

I managed to get a little bit more done.  I have a small pile of lockbox to do and that can be done in the morning.  That can happen if I get in early enough.  I left before 4 pm and got to the Doctor’s office for my INR level. 

It was very quick.  I managed to get the Coumadin level checked (very low 1.2) and I told him about the dizziness and he said if it happens again to come in and he will check me over.  He also got me access.  I was just able to access the patient portal and it is so cool.  I go back on Friday.  I told them when I come back I need to have it checked again on Nov 1.

When I got home Mom was no where to be found.  I looked around for any indication of her whereabouts.  There was nothing.  She came home around 6.  By then I had started laundry, and had a pork sandwich.  She had been at Democratic HQ doing post cards (mailings).  She didn’t want to be out at night and didn’t want to do the phone calling. 

Shortly after she got home she mentioned she bought a new printer/scanner/fax machine.  I was about to get it when Neighbor Don called and offered to set it up.  He started to but when it came to doing some networking he was unfamiliar with the system we have (he has DSL) so he suggested that MikeK from M&T’s office can work on it.

We have been invited to a meet and Greet for State Senator Paul Davis.  Our Friends and fellow 4^th District members RichL called to night and invited us for this Sunday.  We will be going and there is nothing else planned for that day either.

I am grateful for the responses to my previous entry about “no alcohol”.  It is great to hear the alternatives as well.

Well I am going to check the clothes in the dryer and then hit the sack.  I am definitely going to get up early tomorrow.
