Happy Birthday Jim

Yay its Monday!  It is also Brother Jim’s Birthday today.  I haven’t sent him a card-yet but I will.  I never get their birthday cards to them on time any way.  Niece Diane sent him birthday wishes on Facebook.  I am not sure what his plans are.  He is still working on getting the kitten.  He is lonely.

I got up early to make sure I got to the cat in plenty of time and get to work early.  I accomplished that.  I also found mail to be opened.  Janet said she worked on it on Saturday until Kathy told her to scan.  Luckily today’s mail didn’t come to me yet so this gave me time to finish Friday’s.

I called IMM to give them the results of the INR and to tell them about the portal.  Some one will call me back on that later.  Much later I hope.  I am expecting a rather frantic call from Dr. Spanolios about the result of the INR.  I will tell him I didn’t take it the rest of the weekend.

I talked with Mom this morning she still doesn’t feel great.  She does have a meeting at 5:30 this afternoon.  I should be home by then anyway.  I don’t expect to be late.

Just before 11 Natalie from IMM called with the dosage for the week.  I see them on Friday at 4:30.  They will call me back about the patient portal later.  They didn’t sound panicked which is a good thing.  I know I wasn’t all that worried. 

I had a late lunch of pasta salad.  It was the spicy one.  IT was just about that time I decided to get off the net.  It was becoming too much of  temptation and I still had today’s stuff to do.

One Day Closer to the Weekend

Today was awesome. I did wake up early but stayed in bed a little longer than I wanted to but that is okay. I got the clothes out of the dryer from last night and watched TV for a bit. I got ready for work and then Mom got up for her meeting at Bridges. The drive to work was great (hardly anyone on the roads or in the parking garage). The crunch was on to get as much AR in as possible for not only Month end but fiscal year end. I think we did pretty darn well. I was concerned that there wasn’t a lot of volume of mail for being the end of month or year but it was explained to me that it’s okay because it’s the time of year (huh?). Anyway, I managed to get all of the mail done and was able to put another dent in the readdress mail. I worked until 6 and did the NOPPS. This will be the only OT for the next week or so. Turning 55

Today My Sister turns 55. Unfortunately all I did was sing her the birthday song. When Mom and I arrived at her house she was having dinner with Rich and Nelson. Actually Nelson was in the backroom napping and Liz and Rich were chatting and eating pizza. Mom had a card for Liz and handed it to her and Liz made some stupid joke “well you spelled my name right!” I gave her a swat. I think about it and wanted to slug her. She pisses me off when she pulls that shit. We stayed for about 15 20 minutes to get a latest scoop on Jess’s wedding apparently some of the gifts were taken or misplaced. We talked about going to the C bridal shower on Saturday. Liz is not sure if she is going. Once that was established we headed home. We had dinner and then I came upstairs and spent the evening watching NCIS and now I am going to bed.

Monday Musings 6/16/2025

  I was going to say it's been busy.   It's just another Monday at work.    I arrived at approximately 7:30 and engaged in a discussion with KB and BL (Administrators) before commencing work.    The health logic sorting commenced at 11:30 following the completion of document printing.        I got them all sorted and ready to be scanned by 1. I spent the afternoon scanning but grew tired.   After work, I was glad to come home, relax, and cook since I had no other plans.    Sky emerged from the closet when I fed him.   Now that I think I will go to bed early.
